Re: PlayStation Acquires Firesprite, The Team Behind The Persistence

Its funny how when MS buys a studio or another corp its nothing but cheers but when Sony buy a studio to clearly boost their VR its nothing but b*tching, talk about hypocrisy. If rumours prove true then in 24 hours you may be b*tching at the news that Sony bought Bluepoint who may be making a MGS remake exclusively for PS5.

Re: Xbox Says ‘Gatekeeping And Elitism’ Have No Place In Gaming

WallyWest

@UltimateOtaku91 You think they would sell more? Guess what no they wouldn't or to be more exact they wouldn't sell enough more to actually make the whole thing worthwhile. End of the day why should From change how they make games for people who were never going to buy it anyway, the Soulsborne series as well as Sekiro sell tons and even Elden Ring a brand new IP is getting a ton of hype because its a From game.

I feel the easy mode beggars suffer from entitlement issues in that they want everything available to them while failing to understand that not game is made for them. Wanna know something? I can't finish Sekiro, the last boss is basically impossible for me as it requires you to be perfect at parrying something the whole game is based around, thing is parrying in games is a weak spot of mine so this final challenge i just can't do but that's ok though i got the game knowing what it would contain and i accept the game wasn't made around my skill level.

End of the day gaming like most hobbies usually involves skill, someone who wants to learn martial arts is not going to face off against a black belt on there first day and they aren't going to demand an "easy mode" for it, it takes practice and patience to get there. Not every game is going to be tailored made for everyone and like most hobbies some are harder then others but can be overcome if you practice enough. You have 100+ games to play? and that's your problem not From's , you put yourself in that position not them. End of the day Bloodborne isn't for you just like Sekiro really wasn't for me even if i did get far in it (due to guess what? learning and improving).

Re: Bethesda And Xbox Shut Down Speculation About 'Starfield Coming To PS5' (Again)

WallyWest

@S1ayeR74 Not hypocrisy at all, most of the the big games MS shown at E3 this year will be lucky to hit Xbox next year while GoW is all but certain to hit next year especially as it was originally announced for this year. Tell when is Hellblade 2 out? The Outer Wilds 2? Exactly.

You keep saying MS have been releasing tons of games this year but fail to say what. Its funny you call me a fanboy when on Pushsquare today i've been criticizing Sony for how they're releasing Horizon and praised MS on how they're doing it for Halo and Forza.

Re: Bethesda And Xbox Shut Down Speculation About 'Starfield Coming To PS5' (Again)

WallyWest

@S1ayeR74 Horizon is out in Feb next year and chances are God of War is as well.

Tell me how many Series S/X/PC only 1st party games has MS released so far because i can only count Flight Sim, in fact outside of Indies what 1st party games has come out so far this year?

Damn you really are a fanboy aren't you? Horizon, God of War, Spider-Man 2, FF16, that other Square Enix game, GT7, Kena, Deathloop (timed for at least a year), TLoU Remake (not confirmed but might as well be) and that's just off the top of my head.

Sony have nothing? Well they have the sales as the PS5 is greatly outselling Series S/X so i'm pretty sure Sony will want to continue releasing games for it especially for new franchises they started last gen like Horizon and Ghost.

Either way i win though as it doesn't matter, i can be hyped for Starfield for Xbox and God of War for my PS5.

Re: Bethesda And Xbox Shut Down Speculation About 'Starfield Coming To PS5' (Again)

WallyWest

@S1ayeR74 and when are they coming? Sony have learnt that lesson and have tried to avoid announcing games what 3 years plus away. Xbox has a good library coming up but its going to be years before we see them, i wouldn't be shocked if Starfield is a 2023 title. Outside of the announced stuff we don't know exactly what Sony has planned but we do know they have stuff planned like Spider-Man 2 and you also have stuff like FF16 and that other SE exclusive. MS shot their load at E3 while Sony are keeping it loaded for now.

Re: Bethesda And Xbox Shut Down Speculation About 'Starfield Coming To PS5' (Again)

WallyWest

@S1ayeR74 Does it? Right now the PS5 has more 1st party PS5 only games then Series S/X has 1st party only S/X games with Flight Sim being the only one. This year has seen a few exclusives as well and next month even has one and then you have a packed next year what with Horizon and God of War. Xbox's big games this holiday is the same as always in Halo and Forza and from the sounds of things Halo's MP is going to be a P2P monetized to hell version.

Re: Soapbox: Help, I'm On A Nostalgic Trip Through The Multiverse Of Spider-Man Xbox Games

WallyWest

I know licencing issues prevent it but i do wish all the Xbox and 360 games were on One/SeriesX/S, its been years since i last played Spider-Man 2 and Ultimate Spider-Man and even underrated gems like Web of Shadows.

I do highly recommend the PS4/PS5 Spider-Man games though for those what have yet to play them, it does to Spidey what Arkham done for Batman plus Insomniac just went OTT on unlockable costumes what is always a plus for a Spidey game.

Re: Talking Point: Should Xbox Create A Dedicated Handheld Device?

WallyWest

The problem is it would have to be pretty powerful to set it apart from the Switch what would raise the price by a lot, i'm sure the hardcore will buy it but i doubt they would bring in the money, People like to nag on at Sony for how they supported the Vita but end of the day it barely sold, Nintendo have completely took control of the handheld market and i doubt MS could get anywhere near.

A better option would be MS trying to get XCloud on Switch.
