@JayJ Sega crushed themselves and Sony didn't buy up the industry when they entered gaming, funny thing though MS tried to buy Nintendo almost instantly so it looks like they never changed.

Its amazing the amount of corporate a$$ licking are giving MS over this deal on here.

@Microbius The game was originally releasing around about now and this is all they have? It doesn't match the fake footage or claims made by the Dev and this footage was forced out of then. Its a step above Abandoned i guess but not much.

Meanwhile Sleazy Phil is hyping up his near 70B buy of Activision.

I can't help but laugh that if they didn't buy Bethesda they would have almost nothing this year as usual. Yeah Bethesda was always a great buy and its why PS only players are so salty over it, Starfield might be Skyrim in space but like isn't that the major selling point and why we're all hyped? Redfall does look really good though, wasn't hyped originally but i am now.

Just downloaded it, so nice its free if you own RR like i do.

Stuff like this is exciting and something i want more off and yeah the fact it feels unique among Xbox 1st party stuff is lovely.

Redfall looks good but overall i was underwhelmed.

Have 300+ hours on Switch and i now have around 20 hours on PS5. The move 4K/60fps is game changing.

@LX_FENIX Yeah he's no Bobby Kotick far from it but let's not pretend he's any better then someone like Andrew Wilson or Jim Ryan. Phil's great at PR talk and bringing himself down to our level in his talk and the way he appears but he's still a slimeball corp suit who doesn't give a damn about anyone "below him".

He's also pleased to announce his paycheck hasn't been affected and that he still plans on spending nearly 70B on buying Activision and all its staff.

Really hope the Series S version looks at least half as good as these screenshots.

The demo was really bad, if the final game is like the demo then Xbox players aren't missing out.

@Banjo- MS forbid Atlus announcing PS versions until the next day after the reveal, they also forbid pre-orders on PS and they forbid midnight release on PS as well. Its very clear the deal involved native Series versions with 4K120fps as Xbox exclusive, its pretty easy making a PS5 version as every other Dev can do it with no hassle so it doesn't take a genius to see MS are behind this move. Sure though double standards something very popular with MS, Phil Spencer and the Xbox community.

If Sony done this all the Xbox fanboys on here would be moaning like hell, its amazing how hypocritical the Xbox community is. Irony is of course the PS4 and Switch versions will properly greatly sell better and make more money for Atlus then made from the Gamepass deal, checking the comments elsewhere and from the Xbox store its clear Xbox users aren't that interested.

Bought them both on PS, i could have Gamepassed them but i wanted to own these. Very thrilled Xbox players can finally some of the best JRPG's ever made.

@Titntin Exactly i love Xbox but MS are scum and always have been and its why i laugh at those defending them.

@Cyberpsycho You can play everything easily solo in World outside of two raid style endgame Monsters. If you're finding high rank hard its most likely because you need to upgrade your build.

How's the Series S version? Do we get all those added settings to tweak and 60fps?

@Gamingforlife Dude MS can only buy something that wants to sell and not only that MS (along with Sony) are going to find it difficult buying up studios and Corps in the future as all these mergers have finally attracted looks from people who are getting concerned. End of the day MS are not buying half of gaming because legally they can't, if this deal goes though it will properly be it and if it doesn't MS are going to be very closely watched in the future.

Jesus christ this merger has really shown how little Xbox fanboys and gamers in general know about business, mergers and the laws around it. If this deal is blocked its not because of Sony its instead a show of force that yeah we can very much block you and control how you spend, i can see them using MS as example.

Fun thing you notice Disney have stopped at Fox? Why do you think that is? Its because Disney knew they were pushing their luck with Fox and won't be allowed anymore mergers like that.

@Clyde_Radcliffe Sonic 06 may be awful but i've been itching to replay it since i saw Sonic 2 last year, its a shame its not on Series S/X along with the other 2 you mentioned.

Got Sonic Unleashed, Gen and All Star Racing along with Brutal Legend, at those bargain prices i couldn't say no.

@Kaloudz Yeah my SS does exactly what i wanted it to to, its a great little machine and i'm glad i got it even if i may upgrade to the Series X later this year.

@fox99 I'm talking about the gaming side not the sides of both companies that have no bearing on the gaming side but hey you know more then MS who i'm just repeating, i mean MS have bigged up Sony more then anyone else this past year haha

@fox99 Yet Mr Fanboy Sony have beat MS in console sales every single generation and are making more money in the gaming market then MS with also the Playstation brand being bigger then Xbox but yeah "nobodies". Dude Sony are going no where in gaming and considering where PS is compared to Xbox the one taking a hit is more likely MS, in fact MS are more concerned over controlling its consumers with Gamepass then worrying about Xbox's future.

Some advice dude enjoy your Xbox like i enjoy mine but i suggest you stop bootlicking because its really not healthy. Also before you say i'm "bootlicking Sony" i'm not i'm just stating the facts or stuff MS has been stating these past few months

@Gamingforlife MS are not going to buy an endless amount of Devs why? Because they don't want to pay and maintain an endless amount of Devs, they barely do much with who they already have so no way are they adding another 10 or whatever and even then that wouldn't be allowed. They want Activision and Bethesda and big ones like that because it means MS can sit back and let them do they're thing. Also Ubi are not going to be bought because the family what own and run Ubi have no interest in selling.

End of the day MS may have endless money but it doesn't mean they are going to just do whatever with it. They want profits as well and returns so throwibg money away is not something they will do. The fanboy idea of MS is simply not true and shows how little they know about Corps.

@JayJ If MS can't buy Activision then that kills them buying any other Corp and unless Sony wants to sell MS can't just buy them nor would they even be allowed to buy them. Sony can easily afford to make MS an enemy because PS is outselling Xbox.

@inactive I'm pretty sure Minecraft Legends isn't exclusive.

November is my guess most likely because MS have nothing else this year beyond what they already announced.

@Cyberpsycho Dude did you read his comments? He wasn't moaning about Gamepass he was expressing concern that one day Gamepass and other subs won't want games like Tunic as they have all the "AAA" and live service games instead. Its fair to say Gamepass has really helped out Indies and has giving exposure to Indie games that may have lacked it without Gamepass, he's just worried that could change.

I hope so but i have my doubts.

I will give 343 credit and say they have really upped their game in the past 6 months, still isn't what it should be but its getting there.

Thing is it makes good hype at E3 or State of Play or Directs. If MS/Bethesda announced say Fallout New Vegas 2 from Obsidian this month but with no release date and saying its released after The Outer Worlds 2 at the earliest it would be way too early of a reveal but the hype would be high and would get people talking.

For me the sweet spot is around a year, that way you can speculate for a decent time and get nicely hyped. What i don't like is Bethesda with Elder Scrolls 6 where even now its most likely 3 to 4 years away.

@NEStalgia and MS are acting like they're the underdog with no games despite having 20+ studios and are spending 60+ billion on Activision. Sony are only doing what MS would do if the roles were reversed as both are as bad as each other and both are sinking to embarrassing lows right now over it.

Give me that Goldeneye release date. I'm fine if Starfield skips it but i hope we get a release date at least.

Would be cool if something new was revealed like say that rumored MCC style Gears Collection.

Its a good game especially if you like the sea and underwater, bit rough though but still worth checking out.

Great for 3rd parties but 1st party wise MS has barely bothered with the last big release being Halo a whole year ago.

Plus offers Mass Effect and Biomuntant and Gold offers why bother.

Sunset Overdrive is so good, played it for the first time this year and loved every second.

@CoffeeFueled Considering Starfield is not coming to PS then as ever Phi is being a hypocrite.

Generations by far, Adventures 1/2 were good for their time but have aged terribly.

7 i think as the avarage but i do think it will get higher scores and surprise people.

Cool but pretty worthless, no one is stopping during an MP match and admiring pretty shadows. Would rather the campaign got this as it would benefit more from it.

This sounds great but until they add more maps i don't know if i will bother going back as i'm sick of the small selection the game has.

I own Rare Replay digitally so this is free for me? Nice. Shame about the MP as i would rather play it online on my Xbox then my Switch but oh well.

Yeah its fantastic and worth the money, the feeling of speed is insane in it.

The most exciting thing about this is we will see some actual love giving to series like Tony Hawk, Spyro and Crash again, hell MS may even break apart the COD teams so they can go back to making games of their own instead of being slaves to COD.

@Chuffer Strange, i'm playing on Series S and have only had one crash not long after launch and some minor issues, while not Series X quality the visuals are pretty great as well.
