@JetmanUK that would be awesome the trailer looks good I am going to see this in the theatre. I think for me with all the crazy restrictions and closures the one thing that i did not realixze I would miss so much is going to a movie wasting 20 at the snack bar and just enjoying the show.

@mousieone no I agree with you don't delay it for those modes multiplayer will be where I spend most of my time that is what makes Halo great playing with friends getting sniped from impossible distances and having fun.
I really just think that since 343 took over it has been going downhill and I am tired of the excuses they have had a whole year and are still behind.
I was not blind buying the series x I knew games like fable were a long way out but Halo was supposed to be done by now it is just frustrating to see it loose so much luster in the hands of these clowns.

@mousieone for me its not about pleasing everyone there is always things that people are not going to like but they have had an extra year and this is not the first game in the series where they have seemed like the jv team is running the show on what was at one time Xbox's most important franchise.

@oconnoclast man I am with you I remember standing outside a gamestop at midnight with hundreds of people for Halo 2 I love the games. I like Phil Spencer he has rewarded my loyalty to Xbox through the the Xbox One days but I feel like he doesn't have his thumb on these guys there is no excuse for them not being able to deliver at this point. I am not a supporter of crunch and I want everyone to have a good equitable working experience but how much time do you need for a core feature and if they know now its not going to make it then they new months ago they didn't just wake up today and say well damn were out of time. The thing that really irritates me is the lack of urgency on their part well we will just deliver next year some time possibly maybe perhaps. this is an industry wide thing we can just patch it day one kind of attitude. 343 has done a terrible job with the IP and I think they need a major shake up at the top.

I understand the comments above but I know 20 people who are not buying it yet. We have had the same franchise league for several years and we made a pact no new madden until franchise is fixed. Honestly though we know they only care about mut.
The funny thing is if they said tomorrow were going to add in front loaded/back loaded contracts and all the good things we stripped out but we need to charge you 15 extra dollars tons of people would but it. Their greed has blinded them and is costing them money. Remember when they charged 10 dollars to play online if you rented the game all EA cares about is how much more money they can squeeze out of someone

@FraserG are you guys going to do a madden review I would love to know about the franchise improvements I am not buying it until at least September update if at all.
Back on topic its cool that they have a new engine but frostbite has really hampered several of their games by being forced down the different projects throats Dragon age inquisition and madden for example. I have seen articles on how it has hurt development for both those games. Just search for frostbite engine forced on devs. I would link some but I do not know the rules about linking outside articles here.

@LordMonkfish I can't say this enough its a good game i enjoyed it did it live up to their hype im not sure. I have had a few game breaking moments that have been fixed. Overall i still think it was fun.

@stancratcha5 I think for me my interest has dropped to not buying this year they have turned it into a microtransaction hell and have made the franchise crapy

I have enjoyed the game on the series x there are things that need to be fixed I admit but this fix seems so small I just dont know why you would even release just this.

Disappointing I do not understand what they are working on.

Really good interview. This guy sounds like he has a real passion for his game and I think that is what we are missing the most from companies like EA and Ubisoft. I am out of town so will miss day one but it is preloaded and ready to go for when I get back!

@Hurblyburbly I actually played through about twenty hours of the game then we moved to texas and it took about 3 months for our stuff to arrive and I forgot where I was so started over the game is so good.

@Dezzy I agree maybe I am a racist American I just don't see the need to highlight anything from regions if they make good games they will get the credit they deserve. I have never bought a game because it is from a certain region for instance a jrpg. Now if they want to highlight a studio as an indie breaking out or their first game is terrific but unknown I am all for that. Gaming is supposed to bring us together not say i am buying this because it is from France. Since I mostly own Ubisoft Bethesda and Parodox games I suppose I support a large world market.

@P3nguinprisM that was the one thing i disliked the most on the one x it was terrible load times. It made you experiment less with builds and other things I just stopped taking chances because of the three minute load times

Really looking forward to it. I hope the loading times are much improved

@taternuggets pillars 1 was a great game i put in over 100 hours on one play through and did not do everything you can play the almost best version of it with gamepass. I say almost best because for some reason they left out a few things in the complete version. #2 is a good game also just not as good as 1.
the world an lore is very cool I hope they really run with it some more. it would be cool if they could get alternating releases with elderscrolls and these games you would be getting two of the very best rpg makers of all time.

@Bdbrady ya i wish xbox would change tact here and stop revealing games so early I know they need to show they have stuff in the pipeline for a certain ilk of gamers to be persuaded they are the way to go in the future. For me just say hey we own obsidian, bethesda, and so forth and they have cool games coming. these early shows of games years out is frustrating to me.

I was disappointed overall I'm not sure why you would even show starfield being so far away. I was hoping to get more info on fable but I'm guessing it is even farther away

until I know more about the franchise changes they claim to have made not picking it up I am so sick of there gambling schemes in this game just make a good football game and the cash will roll in. they have done to this franchise what they did to bioware so worried about chasing the cash basically ruined it.

I preordered it and am going to give it a chance I tried to find it but it was a long time ago I saw a review for Morrowind from a site that doesn't exist anymore but that i went to daily and they killed it because of that I did not buy it until the babages manager convinced me since then the games im interested in I try just to see.

I really want to play this but I think Paradox has come a long way in the wrong direction the EUIV last update was/is terrible released without proper testing and with half baked ideas which was very disappointing considering how good emperor was.
The fact that a lot of paradox games are on gamepass now is very cool though am actually playing Vicky 2 again currently.
Adding up my steam hours I have sunk over 3k hours in paradox games.

Honestly I didn't get into this game like I thought I would it just seemed like they tried to hard to be like fallout but in space. I'm sure I'll give it another try but yeah so far not for me

@everynowandben you can hide them. press the xbox button to bring up the side bar go to my games and apps select see all, click full library then all owned games find the game then press the menu button on your controller the three lines one and hide from list should be available you will see it under the games tab until you uninstall it but after that it should be hidden

I finished one last night I've been playi g 2 all day. I had forgotten how much I disliked it it's like they made it a Nathan Drake game or something it's hard to explain but going from a bunch of powers to three is kinda lame and I don't like that you can't change anything in the field or the ammo in situation

@VenomousAlbino what killed your wanting to play it exactly? I'm having a lot more fun with the first one then when I tried to replay it about 3 months ago.

So I have played only one so far I've been to three planets and am really looking forward to seeing the consequences of my choices. That being said it has lots of quality of life things and I would highly recommend it I was worried about playing through one but it has been really fun.

I got it and it introduced me to the elder scrolls what a terrific journey that was. I also remember playing island thunder over live fond memories of that time in my life.

@Krzzystuff it's bethesda's first new IP in a long time. Todd Howard has said it's going to be kind of like 50s or 60s space travel in one interview that he gave. I think the reason people are so excited is because they look at the elder scrolls and they look at fallout and they can see what the possibilities could be in space.

@Fiendish-Beaver lol true I played through the first ten minutes of the original a couple of times to help me decide. I ended up with vanguard

@Sy-B it's a great series well one and two I never played 3 due to not wanting it to end. I'm enjoying my replay of one so far but I only ever played it once all the way through.

@Fiendish-Beaver the first two hours no where near as bad now moving around the citadel is so fast it took me a half hour max to be in space after doing some if the easier quets.

@sakanakami man that's rough do far it is really good the difference in the elevator loading times in the citadel is amazing the combat for 1 feels more fluid.

So I just found out that the PS4 save will not work on the ps5 while the Xbox one version will work on the s and x. Kinda stinks for PlayStation people .

@Dezzy70 I have no issue with what is out so far we know starfield and halo will be out soonnin fact I am expecting starfield in November. My issue is the constant hype campaign. We get it gamepass is awesome and the speed of loading old games is great I take more chances now in games because I don't have to wait a minute and a half for fallout to load if I die.

I hate this either come out and say it or shut up. They talk about games way before they should it's better to wait until you have something substantial to show. The did this with fable and after talking to a friend it's years away as in not even close so what was the point of showing it every one already knew that there was going to be a new game in the series

@Bmartin001 it is a fun series although I never played 3 I did not want it to end of the two I did play 1 was my fav just I think because of the story and everything being new I really excited to play all three straight through.
