gamepass has let me find a lot of games I would never have tried though to be honest.

I buy most game I want anyways for instance I bought fable. if there was just an online version so I could play diablo or online games with my friends I would go that route

When does it launch? I bought it on xbox and live in central time I can't seem to figure out when I can actually play it lol.

zero company is pretty awesome. I can't wait for bitreactors next game after this one it's so good.
the one thing I have enjoyed besides the tactics is the setting clone wars era is pretty cool and so far the story has been good.

@TheCrafter1578 so a you tube search for fable game riot video they have about 15 minutes on a pc with medium settings and it still looks good. I know it's not an Xbox but that has to be close

@Rimebreaker can you get a physical copy? I'm in the states I checked Amazon and it seemed only digital.

@FraserG I know your right 15 years ago gta would have been on my radar now I have 0 interest.
still here to looking for a great feb playground games are such a good studio. I'm really excited for the future of fable.

@FraserG so now I'm really confused if it's as good as it looks and I'm a huge fable fan. why did they delay it I think it will hold its own against gta.
anyhow it looks awesome so excited for it playing kynseed and then all the fable games to get ready.

@Old_Man_Harper I died multiple times on the first boss fight in the prologue before I even kicked off the main story when it first came out.i made my guy a major buffer. now that the expansions that I'm interested in are out I'm starting a fresh game tom.
they are really good at making these games although they are always a buggy mess at first.
the pathfinder games are really good if you haven't tried them.

@Old_Man_Harper rouge trader is so good. I Have sank a lot of hours into it what's your mains class spec

diablo 4 trying to finish the season ladder for the first time ever. I'm pretty much geared out but only on rank 7 in the season so still chugging along.

@Fiendish-Beaver ya 7 or 8 is a good score. I think I felt I was being pushed down narrow corridors. which in its defence 1 and 2 had some pretty narrow corridors. I'll try it again. I remember all the hooplah about this subject or that subject I really don't care about that stuff. while I'm deeply religious most of all those kind of things can be ignored in games I just want to have fun.
also my wife who is a church worker sacrificed just about everybody she could to the temple of skorm in the fable games which was pretty hilarious.

@Fiendish-Beaver I didn't like veilgaurd maybe I didn't play long enough but it felt souless it just didn't grab me they way the other 3 did. I could care less about the drama around it as I'm a big dragon age fan maybe I should give it a second go

@Kilamanjaro thats the thing what i said about starfield was the loading screens were shocking but other then that i really liked it at launch. I would say its 100 times better now. I still think it has some of the best quests ever the terramorph thing was awesome the collecting for a bank was awesome.
I really enjoy it.
Is it as good as Morrowind probably not but Morrowind was my first beth game and I think it just has a special place for me.
I think it is just as good as oblivion and Skyrim and those games are pretty good in my book.

@ZYDIO I'm not saying pound it out in 5 months but we're way past the reasonable time frame I would think..
I have never complained about their jank.

@Nakatomi_Uk actually I know all about it and that's what I obsidian agreed to if they didn't think they could cut they should've agreed to different terms.
I also remember launching new Vegas and my guys body was sandwiched and his head was spinning like something from the exorcist.
that being said they got jipped for sure it was a great game and they deserved the bonus.
I was a little disgusted about that when I read it years ago
again though obsidian had a deal they should've had better terms.

@InterceptorAlpha are these fall out mods on nexus? I would love to do a 3 and new Vegas combo run in actually playing new vegas on the x right now loading times are awesome

So i love Bethesda and i think Todd is awesome. I just don't understand why it takes so long fallout New Vegas was pounded out pretty fast after 3. I want a great elderscrolls game and i love the creation engine for its jank, but i just don't understand why it takes so long. I dont want them to crush themselves with insane hours and I dont know how many people work for them. I also dont want starfield to suffer as i love that game but why?
On a side note why the hell cant they get a morrowind remake out the door.

so today I bought the item shop on the vale and then the perk to turn it into a baker then unlocked the 2 skills that lets me make 4 pies for the cost of one . Now we're baking.
trying to decide on my future honey it's a tight race between a girl who is obsessed with gnomes or the local drinking establishments owners daughter.
I also convinced the skrumpys to give me their codes to their lock box in testy acres cha ching!!!!
my last act was to feed a pig a gassy apple and pop him for bacon

@fraserg tell those nitendo lifers to re review the game. it's a solid 8.5

so I'm on my third season. I own a blacksmith, the apothecary and move around the map via outhouses.
I've banged with a bunch of hobs. played a rock anthem to clear weather and found a rock producing troll on my farm.
looking forward to buying the item shop and making it focused on pies.
oh and I played a game similar to deal or no deal called squeal or no squeal where you pop pigs to see what their hiding.
deal or no deal is my very fav casino game.

so I own it on the PC and bought it for the Xbox. it is a really fun game I can't recommend it more. if your on the fence at all. take my recommendation and get it you won't be sorry.
as far as the comparisons to stardew valley it's better by leaps and bounds.

the fall out remastered news for me sucked into fall out new vegas. The game is amazing on series x. the load times are like micro seconds which is good because I made the legion so mad they are sending some pretty tough loot pinatas my way all the time. just got to novac.

@Fiendish-Beaver @IllusiveMan I honestly Dont care about day. To me gamepass value comes from games i would never try in the first place. I have found some great games that I would never have tried before.
The fables, Starfields, and the like I always buy anyway so I can own them no matter what.
I cant remember who post it above but the point that the studio should get some credit if two million are playing it on gamepass seems like a metric they should be using.
If you are saying doom underperformed but has been played by three million for 10 hours at least that seems like a success. This is Microsoft wanting it both ways. Either get rid of day one and take the subs hit or give the studios credit and put the machete away.
I think on gamepass after three months is a pretty fair compromise.

I just think some of these studios are not living in reality. They took forever to make a game then the game was some junk a majority of people didnt want to play.
How is it State of decay still is not finished it boggles the mind.
The only layoffs i question is ESO that game has raked in the dough i understand most of it was from their new mmo being canned though. So they are getting back to normal levels.

I'm really enjoying my time on my kynseed after the tavern update.
I'll def be buying it for Xbox.
I just finished fable still holds up. will be starting fable 2 soon

@oopsiezz I mean read the article their over budget and behind schedule. I don't think its unreasonable to have an issue with them.
Personally I don't understand how not releasing a game at this point is good for business, but if they don't think they are ever going to finish I guess you have to cut bait.

IDK I'm not a big Microsoft shill but look at the studios they are closing. Hellblade was ok but it was never going to move millions. That is ok but you have to have a tight budget and get the thing out on time and turn a profit.
SOD they haven't released a game in a decade. Their not making the next Skyrim or Fallout SOD 2 was fun after a ton of patches but it wasn't earth shattering. One of the keys to resting on your laurels is you have to have laurels in the first place.
After looking at the Blade news their over budget and behind on the schedule. I'm sorry that would be unacceptable in almost every for profit business the only place there are no consequences for that is the public sector.
I liked Phil but he was a piss poor manager ABK wasn't the downfall its not holding these guys to the fire.

My rant is over but just look at one other example avowed when they advertised it they said it was their Skyrim then they went long on time and didn't deliver anything close to that experience.
I'm sorry Microsoft has the right to say times up hippies deliver something viable. This is why you need a guy in the room that's not some crazy artist type. A guy that will say sounds great how much is that going to cost and how long is it going to take? Dreamers are great but they need to be constantly reined in.

@BacklogBrad 100% agree they took the cowards way out. fable should be one or two in reasons to buy an Xbox like the first fable was. instead of blitzing TV with adds and saying we have a hero to stop those GTA criminals they said we'll just wait till there is no one to face.
I understand GTA is going to be huge but take it on.

@Fiendish-Beaver do you really thing GTA would even affect fable? I have no interest in GTA to much foul language to play when kid is awake. Fable though I'm stoked for

@Tasuki I absolutely love the changes to d4. I started with the launch story and am going to work my way through it I'm lvl 36 on the paladin now. He is really fun to play and ya the new skill tree system is so much better.

@RiverGenie I'm loving the paladin my problem with diablo 3 and 4 is when they launched I didn't care for the classes. in 3 the crusader fixed that and in 4 the paladin is awesome.
my guy feels like capt america or thor from the avengers especially with some of the sound effects.
I started the game from the very begining again just to get a refresher.

playing crimson desert still! and the fabulous paladin in diablo

greedfall was good also

@Lup they made technomancer and 2 games that started with an e elex I think right. I really liked those crazy jank but honestly fun.

@ILuvGames @Tasuki I only played through the first dungeon then I hit a wall of tiredness. however, the new skill trees are awesome.
don't quite understand how to progress the season stuff but I'll figure it out.

I'll be playing windrose and crimson desert. maybe a little wwe 2k 26 I couldn't get it refunded so I have to do some major grinding to get the nwo guys who I paid for to unlock. stupidest season pass yet def last 2k game I ever buy GTA included.

@darylb24 I really enjoyed the game. I did not know they were making a second one.

@HonestHick @Fiendish-Beaver again I don't really care who started it or who gets credit. what I do care about is the tone from mcsft towards the box has changed.
I hope they continue down this path.
I'm Xbox through and through starting with the OG. I'll never give up but they need a cognisant long term plan that they are going to follow through on.
I honestly thougt the Xbone marketing at first could never get out done but this is an Xbox raised the bar.
I hope their new long term plan is to kill it in the console division.

@ilyn honestly I don't care who is making it happen. I think Xbox became dangerously close to zune levels of extinction and they seem like their righting the ship.

@abe_hikura I love the base game idk but it's what I was expecting from them it exceeded all my hopes and dreams for it. the one area I didn't like or understand was the loading screens.
after all the changes they have made I'm loving the game even more.
