@Tasuki have you watched the credits their a lot of fun. also I agree with you it deserved a sequel or another game in the universe. I m not sure why it doesn't get one it seems like they could hit it out of the park.

@LostInBlue0 I just recently did a play through. its just good the story was fun and left me pretty happy.

I picked jade empire it was close between that and dragon age and mass effect. I'm just shocked how high mass effect 2 is on peoples list. the gameplay for me limited ammo narrow corridors was hot garbage. loosing a fight multiple times because you have 100 bullets wasn't fun for me.

@Fiendish-Beaver hey brother thanks for your service. I also have some hearing issues and the dolby atmos movie mode makes it so I dont have to rely on closed captions for everything. I used it with the xbox headphones for a long time and they were great. The razer barracuda pro headphones is what I use now and I can actually hear 95-99% of things as opposed to before.

@jesse_dylan it looks terrible. I don't know doesn't seem like a dragon age game. 1&3 were really good 2 was disappointing.

@GuyinPA75 it has a little bit of a wonky save system but other than that its a great game. There is little to no hand holding though the combat can be tough at first you have to get practice in it but once you get it it is great. One of the best games I have ever owned. Has some crazy stories in it.

Ara is great I would like to try those mana games.

AC origins was a great change to the formula. AC odyssey is my fav of all the ac games besides the first one. The viking one i have tried so many times and it just doesn't stick for me not sure why. I want it to but it just doesnt.

@Fiendish-Beaver so AA was really fun but like @RiverGenie said the cash shop was something to behold. One of the biggest problems with AA though was the near constant way people would find to grief others. It could simply be blocking a path on a trade route to just harassing you nonstop as long as you had a group it was ok to side step by just muscling the annoying people out. Overall early on it was one of the best games I ever played as far as mmo's go. They also jumped from publisher to publisher and often were very wishy washy about decisions they made when it came to game system changes.

I think this and Millennia will force civ to raise their game.

@NEStalgia I think you make a good point on why was it even allowed to be locked up in the first place. The we only did evil to prove and stop them from doing evil is a going defense today everywhere.
It basically comes down to this how much is suing them going to cost and did this game really cost them any money at all.
It would be one thing if its a game featuring a cross dressing Mario that might hurt an ip.
They could have easily gone the so you like that game let us tell you about our game pokeman and made more cash off of this then they are ever going to see from this.
I actually worked for a huge company that was doing gangbusters but they made short sighted decision after decision and constantly pissed on the little guy until I gave up and moved 5 states away for a different job. Hopefully the big 3 will have their hens come home to roost and pay the consequences. Like you I am probably done with any console I was a big Xbox guy but they have been out of touch since the Kinect if I am totally being honest.

So Battlefield should sue COD or rpg a should sue rpg b. Nintendo is the sleeziest of the console companies their petty about everything and just cheap. If its about database management unless some one from palworld worked for the devil and copied documents they shouldn't be able to harass them for using a system that works. So another car company cant use wheels because Ford thought that up first? Its just them being petty. The big question for any court is palworld having similar structure actually hurting Nintendo in some tangible way?
@NEStalgia at this point it is like their just sitting around thinking whats the next crazy evil thing we can do for fun? Do they have a bet about what the craziest thing someone will tolerate? Are they just upping the ante for kicks?

@VoidPunk honestly with the changes they are making it brings out the best things about the game. The game environment is amazing there are spots where I just said wow this architecture is amazing. The story for what I played on pc was decent and now that your able to do more stuff solo it is probably a good rpg. The main problem I had with the game was lack of controller support and sometimes finding a group to do stuff with.
The pvp when my friends were on was ok doing it with strangers sometimes led to dealing with people who were not great.

@GuyinPA75 the Jaguar had alien vs predator that game was amazing and the controller with all those buttons was cool

I enjoyed 1 it was decent 2 is really good I'm excited for 3 even if it was announced to early. like others have mentioned I understand why they needed to announce games earlier. Now I think they need to wait till the last couple of months when fallout 4 was showcased or was released within 6 months I think and that was perfect.
Fable my fave Xbox series was announced way to early. I did enjoy the giant commercial they did that was very fable esc humor.

@FraserG the three coolest games the oxm turned me on to was Morrowind jade empire and Crackdown those discs were awesome

I have a few unopened games the one thing I do have a lot of is the official Xbox magazine still in the plastic. whenever I would go to the grocery store I would buy both copies they had and never open the second one. my wife still gives me a hard time for saving the magazines and guide books.

if they want to have stuff about games fine. This is a no go for me though we pay for the box we pay for the multiplayer i think we should have some say about what we see. I am calling it now next gamepass tier 29.99 the no adds tier.

This game was fun in the original state but the controls were wonky as hell I hope they didi some work on that.

@Jenkinss I noticed you listed several Warhamer games Rouge trader is really good I had never been interested in Warhammer anything but if you like crpg's its good.

@Frmknst I have game pass and bought Starfield. Some games I buy after playing them on game pass So I can keep playing them. Games I have bought this year Dragons dogma 2, BG3 College football, and the Owlcat warhamer game Rouge Trader which is awesome.

I am just so dissapointed in the star wars games we got the jedi ones were ok but way to closed off. Why cant we get a jedi rpg that has an open world. Make it so you don't even have to be jedi. Why cant someone do a fallout type or elderscrolls type game with planets where you could be any type in the universe.
Am I wrong that it would be a license to print money?

so I have the rog extreme and it's awesome. The thing that I think some aren't getting is you get the Xbox stuff but also if you own steam games they work without any hassle also or the epic store or whatever ubi soft is calling their abomination these days.
I can only get the x from best buy where I'm living and they offered me 300 for my used rog towards this new one that's not a bad deal.

Its like they said well we paid all these lawyers tons of cash for the abk merger but the ftc was comically inept. Time to make em earn their money somewhere else just keep adding small print and exclusions until those billable hours we prepaid for are used up.

I guess the day one thing is the biggest black mark for when they didn't have games it was fine. now that they have a bunch of things coming down the line they jack up prices. It doesn't make a lot of sense to keep thinking subs are going to grow forever I think keeping us easier than getting but Microsoft is run by the devil.

Dynasty is def good right now im trying to win the big XII just beat the cowboys at home. One thing I do not like is it subs the defensive ends out to often and for to long.

@DeanyBabyy I'm not sure if your an American, but college football here in the states can be treated like a religion. A guy actually poisoned a rival team's 100 year old trees. That's right trees he poisoned trees and then called a radio show to gloat about it.

Morrowind game of the year edition Starfield and maybe one of the first two fables

honestly pretty tired of the shenanigans. I don't really care about the price increase just the constant stupid flow of bad messaging. they don't even know what their going to do tomorrow.

This is just paradox spinning into a downward spiral. The company has been going down the drain for years since going public. Their still selling expansions that don't exist for a game the devs abandoned. They have ruined multiple studios at this point. Cities skylines is a total dumpster fire I don't believe they will ever fix it. It might be better then at launch but that is like saying only some pintos explode now.

I would drive around under the mall murdering a ton of zombies that way in the original lots of fun. I hope they did a pass on the controls though died plenty of times du to clunkiness.

IDK that gameplay video looked terrible to me it def had a dragon age 2 vibe closed sets down a narrow path. Maybe the other zones open up and make it better but right now it just seemed terrible to me. I will def buy it though as i love the lore about the veil and golden city and it will be a great story I'm sure. Just seemed claustrophobic to me though.

For me the Shivering Isles is tied with the Morrowind expansions. I did really like the robot building one from fallout 4 also. The Emperor DLC from EU IV is my favorite grand strategy dlc hands down.

I have the game both on pc and xbox I am a bethesda fan. I have not really been keeping up with he updates is there a lot of good stuff they added I read the comment about the creation club and that makes me think they have gone off their rocker 7 dollars for 15 minutes is it the 80's and long distance calling?

they have an insider program that is open to everyone it has a lot of info And videos this game is looking really good

I feel like this the main sticking point for microsoft they are so short sighted in everything they do all the money invested in this studio is out for one bad game and tom they could buy 5 studios and close them down in 2 years its ridiculous.
I do think this is bethesda's fault also they are so slow with patches they could have saved this game if they lit a fire under some feet and started making small fixes right away it is always this big patch two months down the road with them.

The 360 I had 10 RROD Xbox to their credit replaced every single one. Since the one I have had no issues to and I use mine a lot.

@BBB rouge trader was their (owlcat) best game yet I had never played a warhammer game ever before and trader was just fantastic.

For me the og had such good games from Morrowind, fable, halo, Jade Empire. the 360 followed it up with oblivion, mass effect and that three disk monster i think it was called eternal odyssey that was a good ff type. Just the games really liked them After 360 they have had some good ones but Halo fell of for me and I was never that interested in forza.
I loved star field and looking forward to fable again Im sure there is more.
But Morrowind, Fable and Jade Empire started my love of Xbox oh and Island Thunder Multi Player for the win.

I think everybody who has been posting about this article should go and read it. He didn't just talk about Xbox but a series of wasted cash and huge mistakes Microsoft has made over and over.
right now their fighting apple and Google so they do not have to shqre 30% of their cut on those app stores. if they had their own ecosystem they wouldn't have to.
look at all the the studios they closed over the years just to buy more studios. fable is the greatest example lionhead had a vision for fable 4
Microsoft waned a microtransaction heavy live service game instead. they spent millions like 75 million and then just closed lionhead. now they are spending millions to make fable with a new studio.
their worth 3 Trillion now but for how long case in point look at Boeing the all mighty dollar isn't looking so glorious now for those guys.
so their books look good now but when you plan for tom but not for 10 years from now you look kinda dumb in ten years.

@OnlyGaming I thin this is just poor marketing on their part. Should the game have any micro transactions? no. Do you have ti actually buy anything besides the game? No. I have played about 20 hours now and its actually really good it feels like a throwback to older rpgs I am enjoying it.
