Apologies if this has been spoken about before, but what happened to that quiet version of the standard controller that was supposed to come out? Did it get released and I’ve somehow missed it? I need silent buttons in my life. Hahaha.

Awesome news and not long to wait! 2026 is getting more and more stacked.

I played a bit when it came to Game Pass but wasn’t really feeling it. The addition of PSVR2 support means I’ll be buying it fully, so they got me haha.

@fbnaulin This would be messed up, this and the next Forza Horizon game are the only two Microsoft games I’m really looking forward to.

I must admit, I’ve used my ROG Ally a lot more than my Series X over the past couple of years.

1. Forza tease. Hopefully Horizon.
2. Mudang. Looked interesting.

Would’ve chosen the ROG Ally too, but I already have one and have been using Xbox Game Pass on it for a long time now. Still interested in reviews to see if it’s worth upgrading.

@PsBoxSwitchOwner Mudang was the only thing that looked interesting to me. The rest didn’t appeal to me.

The announcement of a new Forza for next year was easily the highlight. Surely it’s Forza Horizon 6?

If I didn’t already own an ROG Ally, that would’ve been great too. I will wait to see if it’s any better than the current ROG Ally X, might upgrade if it is.

@Kienda Wait, what? I haven’t seen the actual Microsoft handheld leaks. Do you have a link? I can’t find anything on Google, all that I can find is the Xbox branded handheld Asus are releasing.

Tried Kaboom! But it was too laggy to get past the faster levels. Just felt like moving was about 1 second behind what you were trying to do.

I’ve got a Steamdeck and ROG Ally. The ROG Ally is a perfect compliment to the Series X and Gamepass. I use it all the time. If this proves to be way better in terms of power, I’ll 100% upgrade on day one.

@abe_hikura I had a similar issue with their customer service years ago. I bought the Dead Rising 2 Case Zero and Dead Rising 2 Case West. Played them briefly but not fully. I tried to download them a few years later and it just seemed like I’d never bought them. Contacted customer service and after 30 minutes they just said there was nothing they could do and insisted I didn’t own them, even though I’d played them both and had achievements.

Praying for a day all review scores are dropped entirely and the actual words of a review do the talking.

I’d play through the Horizon games again on PlayStation.

I do wonder if they would drop Halo: The Master Chief Collection on other systems. That’s one of the titles I could see doing well, if not just the novelty of Halo elsewhere.

And what does he do?

I spent a lot of time trying build up the points in July just to see what I could get. I think I got about 2,500 last month.

The only first party game I’ve got interest in is Perfect Dark and the damn thing still appears to be years away.

@Tasuki Couldn’t agree more, it’s easily my favourite Xbox franchise. I feel like it peaked at 3, but 4 and 5 are still absolutely amazing games.

I think I add about 500-1000 points a month.

Perfect Dark. Very interested to see where they take it. Followed by Metal Gear Solid.

I can’t remember the last time I went into a Game. Maybe to pick up my GBA SP at launch. I used to spend so much time in there when it was still Electronics Boutique.

Just went and had a look at the list of Activision games, many good games for their time, not much I’d ever want to play again.

I bought an ASUS ROG Ally so I had a portable Xbox Game Pass machine that plays them all natively. It works immaculately, worth every penny.

I very rarely use it docked, purely portable.

Out of the these, Horizon 5 is easily my favourite. I’m sure I’ll like Infinite Wealth whenever I get around to it too.

Stanley Parable was ok, but I wouldn’t put it in the top 10.

Good games. Exclusives and multi platform. That’s all a console needs.

That was my plan too. Only interested in the story mode. 170GB for 30 minutes. Hahahahaha.

The style/flow of it was perfect, but I had zero interest in any of the actual games or announcements.

I’ve always wondered how many people would sign petitions for games on different platforms if it deducted the money for the game from your account the moment you signed it. Hahaha.

I preordered one too. I quite enjoyed what I played. Kinect Sports and Rivals were easily the highlights. Still got a few games I never even took the wrapper off though. Haha.

Don’t think I’ve ever used a single streaming app on my Xbox.

I played about 8 hours and dropped it. It was one of my most anticipated games of last year too. Very disappointed.

@d0x3601 It’s only £20 ($25) a year in the UK, that’s why I don’t really care. For instance, physical Dead Space Remake alone is still about £30-40 ($40-50). Digitally on the PlayStation store it’s £70 ($88). So I play mostly digital now, I can get 3 and half years of EA Play for the price of Dead Space.

@d0x3601 I probably play 4 or 5 EA games a year. Some I even randomly go back to. £1.60 a month isn’t even worth thinking about. I spend £3.70 every morning on a large tea. Haha. I like subscriptions services like this because I pay basically nothing, and get to play games I’m interested in whenever they drop onto the service on whichever console I want to play on.

I think it’s a nice little bonus. I even pay for it on PlayStation too. £1.60 a month to access all those games seems like a no brainer to me.

@Sakai Yeah, I’ve been really impressed with PC Game Pass on the Ally. Great piece of kit.

Hundreds from the OG and 360 era. About 50-60 for the Xbox One and 0 for the Series X.

I played through most of it when it was free on PlayStation Plus. I got most of it done and thought I might as well clean up and get the Platinum. Well I now have bug that crashes the game every 30 seconds into gameplay. I load my save, plays fine for 30 seconds and crashes. Every single time. No patch will ever arrive now, and I’m not about to play though 90% of the game again. So I’m done and would never recommend, even for free. Haha.

@homme_parametre Unfortunately they all wired pads. Need wireless, otherwise I would buy one.

Quieter buttons and thumbsticks insta buy for me. The noise coming from the pad is insane. Hahaha.

I really don’t like the format at all. Only watched it this morning but I skipped past everything but gameplay, and even then I skimmed most of that. None of the games were of any interest to me. Really miss when the big 3 had amazing shows. It feels like it’s been ages.

I’ll be sticking with the OG Xbox dynamic background.
