Re: How To Earn Free Xbox Gift Cards Every Month With Microsoft Rewards

@themightyant only thing I can suggest is even that list doesn’t account for extras like the gamer score = gamer points for 10,000 or the new game rewards that are around games on launch.

For example, I mentioned buying cyberpunk. If I pre ordered it I got so many thousand and then having it launch week I got another 6000.

There are also bonuses for purchasing games Where if you spend £30 in the time mentioned you can redeemed for a few thousand.

These rewards aren’t accounted for in the list linked to but are fairly regular.

@Krzzystuff yes, but just games in sales. You only get 20 points per £1 spent so even if I spent £100 a month that would only account for 2k points not the 18k difference.

To make up that difference I would have to spend £900 a month on games. And I’m pretty sure the points for purchases are capped at a certain amount per month anyway.

I just don’t think they’re accounting for all the challenges. Doing 10 days in a row gets extra points. There’s monthly surprise treasure on the Xbox dashboard that is around 2000. There are periods where any gamer score you get = points upto 10,000. It all adds up.

This is one of the coolest things about playing on Xbox. I got cyberpunk day one with points (ok not the best gaming purchase lol) and I’n already back up to 62k so I make around 30k points a month. Which is like £25-£30 real money.

Not sure why the estimated monthly amount above is so low? Because I’m not doing anything special just doing all the challenges. Maybe they haven’t taken into account the random treasure rewards and streak rewards.

Re: CDPR Releases Hotfix 1.06 For Cyberpunk 2077, Here's What's Included

@Trainer I doubt it. The XS patch was announced when everyone assumed the regular version would ship without crippling bugs and performance. I’m guessing all resources are now shifted to getting the base version playable and then after that they’ll work on the XS patch. It’s not like they just have to switch on some of the PC options. Presumably they’ll have to move the development to game core to truly unlock the power of the XS and that’s not an easy thing.

Re: Xbox Rival PlayStation Pulls Cyberpunk 2077 From Its Digital Store

Scenes

@Menchi From reporting coming out about how it went down it seems that Sony told them they were pulling it and CDPR rolled with it. Which would explain why MS hasn't pulled it. CDPRs statement just says they're working hard to bring it back. If it was a CDPR decision surely they would pull both platforms.

Re: Halo Infinite Fans Call For Xbox One Version To Be Cancelled Amid Cyberpunk Debacle

Also look at gears 4 and 5 or any Forza game. They run just fine on Xbox One and look amazing. For the record I voted cancel it. I’m lucky enough to have a Series X. But saying a good cross generation version can’t be done without it performing like cyberpunk is a bit off the mark.

I never played Witcher3. As I understand it that also sucked at launch. What’s it like now? Did they fix it eventually?

Re: Poll: Were You One Of The 8 Million Who Pre-Ordered Cyberpunk 2077?

Been playing on XSX since midnight. Performance is great. I’m about ten hours in. Not too many bugs at first just audio glitches but then when it opens up its gets awful. NPCs clip thru stairs and cars. Or hover in mid air. I’m missing out on quests because You can hear voices from people calling you over to offer them but the characters lips don’t move so you don’t know who to approach. I was soldering on But was just in a major cutscene and the character clothes kept glitching on and off. I’m bailing. It’s amazing game but the bugs are appalling and ruin it.
