@Isca I can't seem to get back in. It keeps crashing and going to my Xbox home screen. Are you still having issues?

I'll be playing Oblivion for at least the next few months. Perhaps I'll try 33 at some point.

I hope they don't announce a Fall 2025 release date.

Wasn't crazy about where the franchise went from 2016 forward. I liked Doom 3 - great story and more survival horror. The newer games are just insane and I found Eternal to be much harder than it should have been. Hopefully, this one is a bit more accessible to the average gamer.

@BacklogBrad Totally agree with you. Two days early, nope. Lol. And Doom DLC is not that great. Not sure what this other guy is going on about. I didn't even think Doom Eternal was great. Way too hard on easy mode.

I love how they mentioned "it's PS5 Pro enhanced" but no mention that it's Series X enhanced. Lol. It's an Xbox game. I understand that its going to the Playstation, but this is an Xbox website. It always seems that there is a constant mention of the Playstation. It's insulting. It would be like me reading on Pushsquare that a God of War collection is coming out and it's going to be enhanced for the Series X with no mention of the Playstation.

Evil West is a great game. Lies of P would have been good if it were not another "souls like" game. Dying every 30 seconds gets old.

Very surprised. Horrible game. About as good as Starfield and Redfall. Now Indy, that's a game.

I tried getting into this game, more than once. Put in about five hours or so. It's just not for me. It's a mediocre game. Maybe a 7. Typical Xbox exclusive. It seems that Microsoft says "alright guys, don't forget that this is going on Game Pass, so let's not make a great game, just a good one." I mean - Starfield, Redfall and now Avowed.

@NintendoByNature F.E.A.R. is definitely the best. But, although it's backwards compatible, you need a disc. You can't buy a digital copy. I had to get one at my local game store.

F.E.A.R. looked and still looks great. It was a high-end AAA PC game back when it came out. To me, F.E.A.R. 2 was a significant downgrade from the original. It was obviously built for consoles. Still love it and love Condemned.

Didn't Monolith develop F.E.A.R. and Condemned? Two great games.

@GoldenPants Oblivion is one of my favorite games of all time. Great game. I saw that video too. Asmongold was reacting to it. Funny as hell.

I'm about 10 hours in. Feels unfinished. Stuttering frame rate is horrible (regardless of switching to Performance mode). Controls seem off, especially moving the camera around. Sometimes, the graphics look bad, almost like it's an arcade game. And far too much dialogue about just nonsense. Giving it a 7 feels fair.

I think there are far better games that were not mentioned - F.E.A.R., Condemned, Max Payne, Max Payne 2, Manhunt, Splinter Cell Trilogy.

Christmas 2002. I wanted the Xbox over the PS2. Everyone had the PS2. I thought the Xbox was a better name and it seemed like it would be the dominant console in the future due to Microsoft making it. Plus, Halo. Nothing on the Playstation could touch Halo.

Let's hope it's good. I'll check it out, but not totally convinced yet.

@Nintendo4Sonic Yeah but we also have it on Game Pass. PS Premium doesn't have this. So at least there's that. But I can relate. I would have purchased a physical copy of this on the Xbox.

When I go onto an Xbox site and the top three news articles have PS5 in them.

I'll check out Avowed. Looks outdated. And let's hope they keep character customization to two genders. You know - male and female.

@Kaloudz The achievements are pretty easy to do. And the remaster really showed the games improvements as far as controls. That was the biggest issue for me, and the difficulty has been substantially lowered. But, it's a great game, especially for the price.

@Titntin Loved the game. I only wish that they had NG+. The only complaint I have.

@Kaloudz I think it's absolutely worth it. They took a near impossible game to finish (due to easy mode seeming very difficult) to a great remaster that I already played through twice. And yes, the ending does let you know what happened to Kurt Russell. That was worth the price alone, lol. The only complaint for me is that one achievement seems to be glitched and will not unlock, preventing me from reaching 100%. Wish the developers would fix that already.

@johnedwin1969 Well, Microsoft owns two of them so I guess they had something to do with it, but not with development. I think the cool part is that they are all on Game Pass on day one. None of these are on PS Premium on day one. I probably won't play any of these though. None spark my interest.

All the older COD games should be on Game Pass. Not sure what the issue is with Microsoft.

If any Halo game goes to other consoles, it's time for me to move on. Everyone has a right to their opinion, including me. I'm just going to remember the good times I had with Halo CE, Halo 2 and Halo 3 and be done with it.

This should be coming out soon. I mean, it's been on and off in the news for years. Get it done already or stop talking about it until it's done.

Oblivion remaster. I doubt it's a remake but I'm playing it either way. Another 300+ hours of my life wasted away. Lol.

I do think that Microsoft and Sony should not release new consoles during the same year/month. I think that's stupid. If I were king for a day, I would release them a year apart. I believe the sales for both would be better. The Xbox 360 buried the PS3 in sales and it was released a year earlier.

No one has "been waiting" for this game. No one cares. Lol. There is plenty more to play on the Series X.

I played Indy. None of these games are a 10. Indy is the closest thing to a 10.

It always seems that Microsoft will release too many supposed great games all at once. The thing is, it never ends up happening and the ones that are released are almost always bad.

Currently, Manhunt and The Thing remastered on the Series X. Plan on checking out Indy. RE Village on the PS5.

@johnedwin1969 Microsoft has over 75 billion in cash and is a 3 + trillion dollar company. It's laughable to compare who has more money. When it comes to Microsoft, Sony is not the competition - Apple, Amazon and Google is.

I'll always buy the newest Nintendo, Xbox and Playstation consoles regardless. I'm a fanboy of video games. It's a win win win situation for me 100% of the time.

There will be no "full-on acquisition". Lol. Why? Sony cannot afford them. Microsoft is the only one that can afford to buy a company like this and they already own the biggest developers. At best, Sony will continue to pay them what they can to assure some timed exclusives.
