@Kaloudz The achievements are pretty easy to do. And the remaster really showed the games improvements as far as controls. That was the biggest issue for me, and the difficulty has been substantially lowered. But, it's a great game, especially for the price.

@Titntin Loved the game. I only wish that they had NG+. The only complaint I have.

@Kaloudz I think it's absolutely worth it. They took a near impossible game to finish (due to easy mode seeming very difficult) to a great remaster that I already played through twice. And yes, the ending does let you know what happened to Kurt Russell. That was worth the price alone, lol. The only complaint for me is that one achievement seems to be glitched and will not unlock, preventing me from reaching 100%. Wish the developers would fix that already.

@johnedwin1969 Well, Microsoft owns two of them so I guess they had something to do with it, but not with development. I think the cool part is that they are all on Game Pass on day one. None of these are on PS Premium on day one. I probably won't play any of these though. None spark my interest.

All the older COD games should be on Game Pass. Not sure what the issue is with Microsoft.

If any Halo game goes to other consoles, it's time for me to move on. Everyone has a right to their opinion, including me. I'm just going to remember the good times I had with Halo CE, Halo 2 and Halo 3 and be done with it.

This should be coming out soon. I mean, it's been on and off in the news for years. Get it done already or stop talking about it until it's done.

Oblivion remaster. I doubt it's a remake but I'm playing it either way. Another 300+ hours of my life wasted away. Lol.

I do think that Microsoft and Sony should not release new consoles during the same year/month. I think that's stupid. If I were king for a day, I would release them a year apart. I believe the sales for both would be better. The Xbox 360 buried the PS3 in sales and it was released a year earlier.

No one has "been waiting" for this game. No one cares. Lol. There is plenty more to play on the Series X.

Started playing Close to the Sun. Kinda lame. Stopped after about an hour.

I played Indy. None of these games are a 10. Indy is the closest thing to a 10.

It always seems that Microsoft will release too many supposed great games all at once. The thing is, it never ends up happening and the ones that are released are almost always bad.

Currently, Manhunt and The Thing remastered on the Series X. Plan on checking out Indy. RE Village on the PS5.

@johnedwin1969 Microsoft has over 75 billion in cash and is a 3 + trillion dollar company. It's laughable to compare who has more money. When it comes to Microsoft, Sony is not the competition - Apple, Amazon and Google is.

I'll always buy the newest Nintendo, Xbox and Playstation consoles regardless. I'm a fanboy of video games. It's a win win win situation for me 100% of the time.

There will be no "full-on acquisition". Lol. Why? Sony cannot afford them. Microsoft is the only one that can afford to buy a company like this and they already own the biggest developers. At best, Sony will continue to pay them what they can to assure some timed exclusives.

At this point, perhaps making the Xbox was a mistake. Jez should say "going forward, there is a 50% chance of all Xbox exclusive games being non-exclusive. Win - win.

Silent Hill 2 remake is one of them. I believe it is a one year timed exclusive.

Well, I guess that the Series X is my last console from Microsoft. There will be no more Xbox consoles purchased for me going forward. Why bother?

The Thing. I do want to fire up Indi soon. And maybe give S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 another go. Now that there were a bunch of updates, I'm thinking I might actually like it a bit more.

But why would we have to know that? Who cares? This is an Xbox site. If I want to know that, I will go over to Push Square. This crap is getting annoying.

I'm just so burnt out with anything Elden Ring at this point. I completed 100% of the game (including all achievements) and finished the DLC. I'm sure this will be amazing, but I think I'm good.

Just picked up a 65" Samsung S90D. Everything looks amazing.

I would play the COD 2 campaign again for sure. That game blew me away when it came out.

I think nobody trusts anybody at Purexbox now, and we're all getting very tired - of horrible review scores of games that are real good - S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 - 4, Indy - 6 and now The Thing remastered - 6. I thought all three scores were way off. I should probably rely on other sites for review scores. Turns out your site was way off on all three.

$40 for a game that I might play and will never play the DLC for. Nah, I'm good. I'll check it out this upcoming week.

Well, it's 2 pm eastern time and The Thing is not on the Xbox store. I'm assuming this date was a rumor and nothing else. It would have been posted by now.

Honestly, Microsoft has a really bad track record when it comes to exclusives - Redfail and Starfailed just to name a few. Not totally convinced that Indi is good, not until I start seeing review scores. Until then, could care less about early access.

Strange that the Playstation makes more money than the Xbox, yet Sony is worth a fraction of what Microsoft is worth. Lol.

As long as Splinter Cell gets released, I don't care.

A lot of updates for this game since launch. Imagine how perfect it will be when it releases on the PS5. Lol.

This was real rough on day one. Played it for a few hours and quit, uninstalled and moved on. Perhaps I will try again one day.

The Thing, The Thing and more of The Thing. With a dash of Indiana thrown in there.

If it comes out next Thursday, I'll be playing it next Thursday.

The game is not good. I tried playing it and was very surprised how bad I thought it was. I agree with Purexbox - a four is a good score. Starfailed started off rocky and now it's much better, but the game is still not good.

@Caspin-U Oh it's definitely a 4. Played it for about three hours. Unfortunately, I cannot get that time back. Thought it was horrible.

On the Xbox and PC, all you needed was Game Pass. On the Playstation, you had to spend $70, so Playstation dominated nothing! lol

@Titntin I had said something similar on Youtube and everyone tore into me. As if the game was developed in the middle of a war zone, literally. lol. I refuse to give this game a pass because of whatever circumstances the development team claims to have gone through. I played the first hour and thought the game was horrible. That's all I needed.

I played the first hour of the game and I thought it was horrible. Perhaps one day it will be good. I had a lot of stuttering, the controls are real bad and getting radiation damage almost everywhere I walk was frustrating. It has a real dated feeling to it. As if it would have been great about five years ago.

Panic? Absolutely nothing to panic about. Elden Ring 2 would never be a Playstation exclusive. Lol. Bloodborne 2, yes. But never Elden Ring 2.

I really want Stalker 2 to be good, but not sure why I have this doubt in my mind. I remember Destin from IGN talking about when he played it at some gaming conference and he said it was rough. I know they have had time to work on it since then, but I keep thinking what could they have changed to make it go from rough to amazing. We'll see. I hope I'm wrong.

Playing through Halo 2 again, with some multiplayer mixed in. RE4 on the PS5 Pro.
