@Rangers420 Dude, I can't get past the end boss fight. I think I just suck, lol. I've played every Dark Souls, even got 100% achievements on Elden Ring. So, no stranger to difficult games but I just can't seem to get past it. Any tips?

Works fine whenever I have used it on my Series X. My PS5, not so good.

Ever since COVID, I have primarily worked from home, working "in office" one to two days per week. I am FAR more productive with me having the choice to work from home. I'm a much better employee and, honestly, I have not used a sick day in probably four years. We will most likely never go back to working full-time in the office again, which I'm fine with.

El Paso is a great game. Played it a few months back.

Two big releases? Are you kidding? I thought one would be Hellblade 2. Lol.

@NintendoByNature It's not just you, I found that to be true as well. There were times when I just ran away because I was getting overwhelmed. I understand that the developers probably were promoting co-op, but there should be some type of balance. Or maybe a single-player campaign and a separate co-op campaign. Your character is always about two levels below an enemy, which I don't like (Diablo 4 style leveling). I much prefer Elden Ring's leveling style - if an enemy is owning you, go level up and come back to own the enemy.

Love the game. I played it last year when it came out. The end boss is far too difficult though. Kinda ruined it for me from being near perfect.

If I were to play them, it would obviously be on Game Pass. But, I think all of these games have zero appeal for me personally. So, go ahead Microsoft, spread the mediocrity.

Well, it sucks. Sorry, but that's the truth. And Halo is my favorite game franchise of all time.

@rustyduck Was stuck on the end as well. And I also liked Redfall better.

Played this game solo when it came out. Thought every part of the game was great except for the leveling system. It's similar to Diablo which means enemies always scale with your level (actually one or two levels higher). Obviously it was intended for co-op.

Dead Island 2, great game. Played it when it came out.

I have a PS5 and have zero interest in this game. Who cares if it's not on the Xbox. Lol. Good Lord, move on people. There are plenty of games on the Xbox to play. We don't need this crapfest. Everyone needs to go play Halo multi.

@CaptnTedo I kinda think the same about Hellblade 2. I thought the first was ok. Not convinced that part 2 is going to be that good.

More than ten for the Xbox, less than zero for my PS5, other than Silent Hill 2. And that's a timed exclusive.

I thought the game was too long and the story didn't always make sense. Looking at the evidence board was not always easy to navigate either. Decent game but far from great.

@jFug The third place comment that Phil made is absurd. He has a lot of people fooled, but certainly not me. Console sales are a joke in 2024. The Xbox is in a very obvious lead, with Sony and Nintendo fighting for second. Microsoft is a three trillion dollar company who is dominating the subscription service category with Game Pass and owns the biggest gaming franchises in the world. Minecraft, Call of Duty, Diablo, Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Halo, Gears, Forza. I think Phil should stop with the "we're trying" attitude. It's getting old. Truth is that the Playstation is financially struggling right now. Sony saying that they are the number one selling console means nothing in todays world. This is not 2015! lol.

What big questions linger? I think they are doing exactly what they set out to do, making the Xbox the number one gaming platform on the planet. Well, mission accomplished.

@StonyKL Dude, we literally just did the same thing. Cancelled all subscriptions. Stopped getting UFC PPV's at $85 per month. I occasionally pick up a three month Game Pass card but that's it. We watch Tubi, Youtube, Pluto (all free) and go to the local library to get movies. We've never had more money in our lives. lol.

Not sure why, but I keep thinking Hellblade 2 is going to be bad. I think it will look amazing, probably the best looking game to date. But the game itself? Not so sure. Hope I'm wrong.

@Tecinthehead Of course I do not think that. I mean right now there are most likely three games. I'm sure there will be more in the future. But, I highly doubt that Halo Infinite or the next Halo will ever be available on the Playstation. It's going to be very selected games. It's not "starting today, every Xbox exclusive game is now available on the Playstation." It's NEVER going to be that.

Still missing Baldur's Gate 3. I'm sure they just forgot to add it in.

Are we going to start a "top 10 most wanted Playstation franchises on the Xbox" poll as well? This is getting ridiculous. I mean, I hope no one thinks that ALL Xbox games are going to the Playstation. It's not happening. There are going to be a few selected games that will come to Game Pass on day one and eventually make their way to competing platforms. Most likely from developers that Microsoft has acquired recently. The end.

@Flugen I'm hoping this is not the case, but those are good points. Perhaps Microsoft is slowly weening their way out of the gaming business. If so, they would start with the hardware. Kinda sucks if it's true. I've been an Xbox owner since the original back in 2001.

@Flugen Yes, I will feel a bit disappointed, but I'm tired of all the Xbox drama lately. Between the acquisition, constantly waiting for game announcements and now this, I just want to play games. And I still don't think it will be as easy as "playing xbox games on the PS5." That's a far stretch. I believe there will be certain games that will come to competing consoles after first coming to Game Pass. I doubt Playstation owners will be playing Halo or Gears.

I honestly don't care. I just want to play amazing games on my Series X, PS5 and Switch.

It's not like Halo 7 will be on the Playstation. Lol. I mean, a few titles here and there will be eventually on competing platforms, after an undisclosed amount of time. Who cares. I feel at this point that the Series X is on a massive incline and it's starting to feel somewhat similar to the 360 era for me. So many great game announcements.

My first thought is that this will not work with COD. But, that's what I thought about Halo Infinite, until I played it. So, hopefully it turns out great. The COD franchise has a great track record so I don't think this will be bad.

I don't think this is good at all. I think they should do what they originally wanted to do - offer Game Pass on competing consoles. That's it.

It depends if Microsoft allows it. Here's the funny part, everyone (including Sony) raves about Playstation's console sales and how they think they're number one. But reality is that Microsoft is #1. They are currently worth three trillion dollars. So, to have the power and confidence to say "maybe we will allow one of our games to be on other platforms" can only be done from a company that has unbelievable confidence in their product. And being worth three trillion doesn't hurt either.

Still playing Syberia 4 on the PS5. Quake and MW3 multi on Series X.

I'm a tech b****. I would buy an Xbox handheld and a Playstation handheld. Probably wouldn't even use them. Lol.

Definitely my game of 2023, I don't care if it was a remake. It was so well done. And I liked the Separate Ways expansion even better than the base game.
