Out of nowhere once again, Rockstar Games has just released its second trailer for GTA 6 - which is now due to release for Xbox Series X|S on May 26, 2026. We've thrown the brand-new video clip up above, and we'll gather up some fresh details to share with you down below.
GTA 6, the next instalment in Rockstar's legendary series, follows Jason and Lucia as they "find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America". Lucia is fresh out of prison, and the pair of them are about to tear up "the state of Leonida", featuring the legendary Vice City.
"Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive."
The trailer itself treats us to a broader look at what to expect from the next Grand Theft Auto, which at this point, is probably the most anticipated video game in history. We must admit, this is looking absolutely fantastic so far - each glimpse at this world is more enticing than the last, and Rockstar is seemingly outdoing itself in the visuals department as well.
Speaking of which, the team has also released a bunch of fresh screenshots to accompany this trailer - so we've picked out a selection of them to show off down below. We've got just over a year to go until GTA 6 graces our Xbox Series X|S-connected screens!
