Is God of War coming to the Series X? Good Lord, get a grip Microsoft and stop failing already. Figure yourselves out. I realize Microsoft is worth trillions and Sony is not, but the Xbox division is pathetic compared to Playstation. Perhaps Sony should manage the Xbox.

They will announce that they are working on Halo 7 and it's going to be amazing, but it's about five years away from release. I've given up hope on the Halo franchise at this point. I hope they prove me wrong.

Awesome, so this means that Halo 7 will expect to be out in 2028, but delayed until 2030 with launch bugs, updated sometime between 2031-2033. Co-op and 60 fps not possible, unless there is a Playstation port. Then the sky is the limit!

They are ditching their old game engine because the game engine is old.

Why? Why now? How about something big for the Halo 2 20 year anniversary on November 9th?

Of course it's coming to the Xbox, someday. Meanwhile, I'm fine playing it on my PS5 on Sunday (early access with Deluxe edition).

Same score my buddy gave it after playing it for about 10 hours. I'm convinced that Microsoft (and/or the developers they own) have lost the ability to make great exclusive games.

I'm a level 0 so I'm guessing I cannot play it. Honestly, I thought Starfailed was going to be great when it launched. I played about three hours of it and thought it was horrible. Redfail was better.

@Darude84 Yup, pretty much my exact thoughts on the game.

I pre-ordered one. I'm a tech geek, but I definitely didn't need a PS5 Pro. Just wanted one. Had no problem getting one. Just went on PS Direct and they still have them available so I believe the price ruined it for a lot of potential buyers.

There are so many gamers stating they are not interested in COD, yet every year, it's the biggest selling game. Lol.

This just in, Gears of War 6 will be a PS6 exclusive. No news of an Xbox version though.

Game Pass subscribers - As of Feb. 2024 had 34 million.
PS Premium (not PS Plus) - 8 million.

So, there's that. Maybe that should be reported.

Could not care less about this. Dead Rising, Until Dawn and the Silent Hill 2 remake are all coming out a few weeks before COD, so I'm in no rush for the campaign.

The Halo 2 midnight launch for the OG Xbox. November 9, 2004 I believe. It looked like we were all sleeping out for concert tickets (like people used to do). The line was all the way around the Gamestop building and they had vendors, music. It is probably my best Xbox memory. I remember thinking "it doesn't get much bigger than this." Everyone was sharing their gamertag with everyone else so we could all send friend requests and play some Halo 2 multiplayer. Now, all my Xbox friends see to be ok playing by themselves with almost all of them showing "offline" status. Lol.

Do you know who is buying this console? No one! However, if they have a 50% off sale, I'll pick one up. If anyone comes across any coupons, let me know.

I thought this would sell at $599 but $699, I believe that's the highest priced console ever.

@armondo36 Plus $75 for disc drive? It comes with 2 tb of storage. Why would you need to buy an additional disc drive?

Put it this way, it's been so long since it came out, I forgot that the game exists. But I did like it when I played it.

Honestly, I think overall Starfailed sucks. I give it a 6. I liked Redfail better.

This studio always makes great games. Not sure how anyone can argue otherwise. I'm about three hours into this and I'm loving it. It's nice to play a game once in a while and not die every five minutes.

I mean, I admire their enthusiasm. But, no. Never going to be a Skyrim. Starfailed is just not a good overall game. Not much can change that. My advice to Bethesda is to fail less. Make better games and gamers will play them more. Problem solved.

Not liking the changes they made to the gameplay at all. I'll play the campaign but won't be playing the multiplayer when the game launches.

Yes Phil, the end result does have to be better games. But, Microsoft cannot seem to make better games. Redfail, Starfailed, Hellblade 2, Scorn and many more - none are great games, only mediocre.

Within six months of release, Avowed will be 60 fps. Lol. Especially when it's announced that it's coming to the PS5.

Just looked over at Pushsquare to see if there was something on their homepage indicating "Playstation to announce big game coming to the Series X". The Xbox is at a point now where they are so pathetic and directionless, that's it almost pointless to take time and comment about how bad they are. Almost.

"Suffers Xbox exclusive delay." "It did end up releasing for other platforms." Help me make sense of this. What? And a delay is so embarrassingly common for the Xbox that I almost don't believe it. As if they are doing this just to bring some free marketing to a game that would otherwise go unnoticed.

I loved ODST. Me and three of my gaming boys all took the day off from work and played it from beginning to end in one day. We also did that for Halo 3, Reach, 4 and 5. Unfortunately, it never happened with Infinite.

@OldGamer999Yup, I honestly cannot see the Xbox lasting with their current strategy. They are the Kings when it comes to announcing games, but that's it. Taking a decade to complete a game is unacceptable.

I'll do the list for you guys - maybe Indiana Jones in 2024. There you have it.

It's official, Microsoft is pathetic. Xbox is the joke of the industry. So many games in development, so few games being released. Lol.

Poor Gamestop, still thinking they are relevant in 2024. Lol. If memory serves correctly, the last game I purchased from them was Skyrim, when they had a midnight release. That was 2011 I believe.

Lol, of course it's delayed. Microsoft honestly cannot do anything right. Next, Indy will be delayed.

Unfortunately, everyone is hurting. Sony has reported the same. They took a 30% decline in hardware sales during Q3 and I'm sure Q4 is not much better. They have even stated that they are going to focus on subscribers over hardware sales at this point. I own both consoles and I will always be a console gamer first. Hopefully, we will see a few more generations of new hardware.
