It's almost DOOM O'clock, folks. Since a fantastic Xbox Developer Direct showing all the way back in January, Bethesda has been consistently delivering tantalising information on DOOM: The Dark Ages - and now the team is properly firing on all cylinders with the game's 'Official Trailer 2' footage.
Yep, you can soak up Xbox's latest DOOM trailer up above, featuring everything we've come to expect from the Slayer's trip back to The Dark Ages so far. Epic moves, gruesome glory kills, giant mech dragons, the lot - oh, and a cheeky tease of the world-famous 'BFG' weapon right at the end there.
"Developed by id Software, DOOM: The Dark Ages is the prequel to the critically acclaimed DOOM (2016) and DOOM Eternal that tells an epic cinematic story worthy of the DOOM Slayer’s legend. In this third installment of the modern DOOM series, players will step into the blood-stained boots of the DOOM Slayer, in this never-before-seen dark and sinister medieval war against Hell.
Enjoy Official Trailer #2 for DOOM: The Dark Ages."
We're so very close to the Xbox Game Pass release of DOOM: The Dark Ages now - with the Standard Edition release arriving on May 15th. Or, as we reminded you all last week, an early access upgrade is available that'll let players tackle this latest journey to hell a few days early - alongside granting access to an upcoming campaign expansion and more.
You can check out all the info on that Game Pass upgrade down below, which is available to pick up on Xbox Store right now. We'll also chuck a recent roundup of hands-on previews for DOOM: The Dark Ages underneath as well, so you can get a flavour of what folks think ahead of launch.
