A bit too far in the future for me to get really hyped for. Will be interesting to see how this one lands compared to the previous dlc, which many folks including me rate very highly.

Just the current gen version of The Witcher 3 will be approaching 5 years since it's release so I hope CDPR keep expectations realistic for the dlc.

Not something I have any interest in personally but I hope the folks who do jump in have a fun time.

I know GTA 6 will be huge but yeah its not something I am excited for right now. There are not many games I am too excited for right now that have a confirmed release date this year.

@OorWullie small staff numbers & the reviews normally don't do well on the site is what they have said before I believe.

Exclusivity at this stage of the generation especially for a brand like Horizon is just leaving money on the table. Folks are locked into their console of choice and its unlikely for any franchise to be a console seller this late in the gen. I really don't understand why folks are insistent on things being exclusives for Xbox for this gen anymore.

Maybe when Helix is in the hands of consumers that would be the time to revisit that choice. For now release everything for everyone, earn as much money as possible and improve the chances of more content or more ambitious future iterations of those franchises.

I will be polite and say a lot of these are pretty optimistic at best.

Its pretty good a solid 8.5 / 10 but it is still more of the same and Japan as the location is doing a lot of the heavy lifting to be honest.

I also a little worried that the dlc might be a rehash of old stuff too. Maybe Lego based given the number of FH6 Lego Technic ads that are popping up on Youtube.

Don't get me wrong I am having fun more than I expected to but as a goty for me its not there in terms of new things. Which is one of the few things that let it down as a whole (multiplayer being the other big one for me.)

@Old_Man_Harper Hah my "daily driver" in FH6 is a Mini Cooper S.

It makes me laugh to see the super cars wizz past me and I either see a trail of crashed npc cars or said super car in a field usually after a sharp corner.😂

Its supposed to be a sunny weekend & that means outside stuff n chores have to be done. So depending on how the back holds out its probably going to be a light gaming weekend for me.

Maybe a bit of casual bonus board collecting or working on my car tunes in Forza Horizon 6. As I have Gamepass Ultimate for at least a month I might as well check out Subnautica 2 while I have the opportunity.

If any of that feels too much effort after the outside stuff its been a while since I did anything in Minecraft. So that will be my emergency I need a chill n tunes game.

Feedback can be useful but you have to weigh the number of votes against total users and not assume everyone agrees.

Unless votes sway heavily towards total users I would personally offer such changes as an option rather than a hard this is the way we do things from now on.

Even then that approach isn't perfect and can overly complicate things but even so I still think giving options is better than not if you are basing changes on small percentage (of total) user votes.

Lets just say the high level Drivatars are good practise if you intend to play online racing of any flavour. It is still a total 💩show

People will say its just an arcade racer don't take it so seriously. Which is a bit rich when folks take it seriously enough that they ram you off course for the lofty heights of P 12.

Its always my biggest disappointment when it come to the Horizon franchise & FH6 isn't any better in that regard.

Its a fun ride for sure and I am enjoying myself for the most part. Is it perfect? Nope and I have several things in the game that irritate me with one big annoyance that has never been addressed in any Horizon game (lack of consequences for being a c**t in multiplayer.)

Still on balance its more fun than not so I count that as a win.

A couple of sim racing streamers I follow went to this and it looks like it was a good time for everyone involved.

Xbox are really ramping up the FH6 promotional stuff. Its good to see this sort of stuff to be honest as it shows a commitment to the brand.

@StylesT I count myself fortunate that I can have fun with games or whatever else, when it suits me to do so. If you want to make insinuations regarding my adult life for whatever reason as you say "you do you" 🤷‍♂️

I hope folks have as much fun as I had regardless of when they get to play FH6

Nope not a chance I am getting the premium upgrade this time. I am considering getting a month of Ultimate so I can give it a test drive.

Surprisingly, to me at least, I am still playing the current season of Diablo 4. I will normally make my own builds in these sort of games & don't use guides but I had a glance at one for the Barbarian that looked interesting. So now I am putting that together & still having fun.

Watched some streams of Forza Horizon 6. It does look fun even as someone who is not into open world racing anymore. I am kind of tempted to upgrade to Gamepass Ultimate for a month to give it a test drive but will think on that over the weekend.

I watched a stream this morning. It does look to be a slick & well presented game that I am sure a lot of folks will have fun with.

Me I will be waiting on it coming to premium gamepass or maybe if I see a deep discount I might be tempted. I am just not into open world racing games enough anymore to want to pay day one prices for it.

Nope I am not interested in Hitman with a Bond skin.

In any case it launches just about the same time as the next big update for PoE 2. So even if I was interested it still wouldn't have been a day one purchase as I just wouldn't have the time for it.

Hmm I hope all that gels together for a smooth progression no matter your racing / driving preferences.

I don't enjoy any sort of drifting & I expect given the location I will find myself doing it because I have to for progress not because I want to.

I quite enjoy rogue-lite / deck building games so will certainly be taking a look at Black Jacket.

Edit: Poop its Ultimate. Guess I will take a look when / if it comes to premium or might just buy it if its a reasonable price.

Mixtape is a game I knew would be one I wouldn't enjoy so I haven't played it. I also haven't (& won't) trash a game just because its not my thing. Frankly I would much rather go spend my time playing something else that I do enjoy.

Sadly being hateful or rage baiting attracts attention and some folks crave that more than their own self esteem

Push Square gave it a 5 / 10 too.

This falls into the same category as Mixtape for me at least. If you vibe with story being told you will overlook the game play short comings and probably have a fantastic time.

If you don't and are in it for the game play well 5 / 10 seems generous. This isn't something I expect I will play.

I will be waiting for FH6 to come to premium gamepass before I even consider looking at this. I am sure for open world racing fans this will be a good time but I am not a big fan of the genre these days.

@Gunonaboat or they just didn't like it as it wasn't to their taste. Folks are allowed personal preferences and can score it based on that as they see fit.

Me I clicked "I haven't played it and probably won't" as I know this isn't for me based on what I saw of it prior to launch. It a very stylish & well presented game but if you don't vibe with it that doesn't really help.

Not my thing from what i saw of the game play but I did listen to the soundtrack on Spotify so there is that.

I am interested in Subnautica 2 and will take a look. However because it is an early access i wont do much more than that.

All being well when it launches out of early access it will likely be a day one purchase.

I am still mainly playing Diablo 4 though I think I am getting near the end of what I want to do in the current season.

I don't really have anything new I want to play till the end of the month so I think I will do a ng+ run of Assassin's Creed: Odyssey. It is my favourite entry in the AC series so it should be a fun time.

For me achievements are not something I care about & have never chased in any game. So you all add what ever as long as I can disable it so I don't have to have it bother me.

For the right person I am sure this game will hit hard but I am pretty sure that person ain't me. Me I think I will listen to the soundtrack on spotify and get like 75 % of the experience of what is on offer.

@dskatter If I remember folks were expecting them to announce they were dropping support for last gen consoles so they could bring the Odyssey update to current gen. Instead every console in the trash.

@Jenkinss cool does that come with a gaming pc too? (sarcastic question you don't need to answer it.) Yes they provided an option but for many its a useless one that doesn't change anything or help at all.

I don't generally hold grudges and especially with gaming. Its a hobby I do for fun not to be angry about things.

However, my one exception to this is because of Elite Dangerous. I will never touch another Frontier Developments game ever again because of the way they just threw their Elite Dangerous console players in the trash with barely a glance.

Life has become much more expensive and gaming is a luxury not a necessity. I would be shocked if this wasn't the case.

While I did purchase a number of day one full price games last year I haven't as yet done so this year not a single one.

@Questionable_Duck Chill and don't overthink things. It was a little light sarcasm to show how much importance I think this change makes.

Saying it is a complaint would have required me to put more thought & effort into this than I actually did.

But you enjoy the new obviously major significant change if it floats your particular boat.

Putting Elite Dangerous on Game pass is taking the piss.😠

Frontier the devs behind the game dumped all console development years ago (2022) and now only create new content for the pc version exclusively.

Corsair Cove looks like the sort of slightly goofy city builder I could get lost in.

Hopefully it will come to console eventually (Google says console versions are being worked on though I couldn't find any official announcements to that effect.)

Playing the new Lords of Hatred expansion for Diablo 4.

The campaign is fantastic and probably the best I have played in an arpg full stop. They really stepped it up from the first expansion which suffered from pacing issue & long dull periods of game play. LoH has non of that and is a wild ride from the get go more so if you enjoy the Diablo lore.

I have only really played the new warlock class but I enjoyed the options available in the new skill tree. I would hope the other classes have similar build options but that is something I have yet to explore.

The core end game is essentially the same but its presented to players is a more approachable manner with thing like the Horodric cube crafting helping to smooth out the progression even more. However if you didn't enjoy the core end game game-play loop with pit pushing, hell tides etc you probably not going to change your opinion even with the new presentation.

Personally I am having a fantastic time and want to see how far I can push my warlock build. 8.5 / 10

I recently completed a play through on series x and didn't have any big issues beyond a few small stutters. Certainly nothing that impacted my enjoyment of the game.

I have a screen shot of my Diablo 4 Warlock taken from one of the many excellent cut scenes in the recent expansion. I am not seeing anything here that will make to make me change it.

Yeah I started to doze off just reading the presentation description. From a consumer perspective this will probably be a bit "dry", which is fine its not aimed at us.
