Talking Point: What Games Are You Playing Over Christmas Break?

The festive season is truly upon us now as we officially enter Christmas week, which has us thinking and planning and batting off family conversations as we hunker down; trying to tackle our gaming backlogs while we have the chance.

And this year, we seem to have a near-endless stack of games to play that we've put off throughout 2025 - and maybe even earlier than that, but who's counting, eh? No, but seriously, we need to get through some of these games over the next week or two, good lord!

I've personally got a few titles I'm trying to sit down with and play on Xbox over the coming days. DOOM: The Dark Ages and Keeper are two Xbox first-party titles that passed me by this year so I'm trying to get those done - and a recent Game Awards sale presented some absolute bargains that I just couldn't miss. Resident Evil 4: Separate Ways and Metro Exodus are two games that I'm hoping to also get stuck into shortly from that sale!

And now, this is where we ask you fine folks what you're getting stuck into over the Christmas break, aside from copious amounts of turkey and stuffing of course. Do you have a game that you regularly replay over the festive season and will be cracking out soon? Is your backlog as huge as ours and just begging to be cut down over the next few weeks?

Come tell us what you're playing over the holidays down below!
