Fable is one of the four pillars? I mean I love Fable, and I really want to know about the next one but I don't think you can call Fable that if the last game was 15 years -two generations- ago.
Honestly I'm really glad I never preordered the game. I had to force myself to finish it since I was already close to the end. I don't see myself playing it ever again, so thanks Game Pass. Could be interesting to see what they do next, but I won't hold my breath.
I'm still playing Blue Reflection on PS4. It's a pretty chill JRPG. It has quite a bit of fanservice though, so it's definitely not for everyone. But I'm more for the gameplay and story. Will probably go back to Xbox after this one.
I finished a lot of games this year, some of them not on Xbox (very few) and some that I had already finished before. But I actually keep track.
Here's my list:
Metaphor ReFantazio
Atelier Rorona
Streets of Rage 4
The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles
WWE 2K15
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax
RetroRealms: Ash vs Evil Dead
Evil West
Avowed
Eiyuden
Like a Dragon Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii
Assassin's Creed Shadows
Toki Juju Densetsu
Lords of Exile
(Not)God of War (the PS4 one)
Save Room
God of War 1
God of War 2
God of War: Chains of Olympus
God of War 3
Marlow Briggs and the Mask of Death
Castle of Illusion (Original)
Double Dragon (NES)
Disorder: Save Your Family
Trash Quest
Knights of Pen and Paper +1
South of Midnight
Zombie Survivors
Jedi Survivor
Expedition 33
Rocket Rats
Farmer Survivors
Undertale
Echo Generation
Terra Memoria
Fate/Extra
Rise of the Tomb Raider
Raidou Remastered
Jade Empire
The Rogue Prince of Persia
Dragon Age: The Veilguard
The Outer Worlds
Injustice 1
South Park: The Stick of Truth
Mortal Kombat 1
Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments
Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter
Inscryption
Child of Light
The Mummy Demastered
Far Cry Primal
Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii was the best of those IMO.
Here's my ranking if anyone's interested. Took the images from HowLongToBeat but a few games weren't there. A few games changed positions since last time I made it this year. I alao had finished WWE 2K25 but forgot:
Avowed was hated for no reason. It was compared to Skyrim which it isn't trying to be and then hated because it's not that.
I don't care if I can't pick up every spoon and bowl. Avowed was fun, with cool characters and an interesting enough story. It was a proper RPG. Definitely deserved more love.
Finished Child of Light (lovely game!) Finished The Mummy Demastered (very cool Metroidvania which can be finished in less than 5 hours). And managed to finish Far Cry Primal just last night.
I feel pretty good about that. I'll do some more side missions in Primal and after that... I don't know.
It's a very short, very sweet RPG with Stranger Things vibes. It's a little too simple combat wise (Paper Mario), but imo it's part of the charm. I really liked it. Story it's a little light but it has some cool moments. I think it's on sale right now. If you don't go expecting anything too complex I'd say it's a steal.

I don't know which games that Shinobi guy likes though.
Re: South Park Arrives In Fortnite This Friday, Two Months After The Successful Simpsons Season
I always read comments like "a game for everyone is a game for no one", but Fortnite continues to show the opposite.

Please... PLEASE don't f#@k it up. 🙏🏻😭
Re: Xbox Reporter Teases What Might Be Shown At Developer Direct, Including A Potential Surprise
@Hern4ndeZzz
Fair enough. I just feel like if you played them when they were released, it's not pillar, just a forgotten franchise.
Forgotten by them, I mean.
Re: StarCraft, Wolfenstein 3 & Fallout New Vegas Remake Could All Be In The Works Over At Xbox
I'd be a little interested in New Vegas if they don't dumb it down like they usually do with sequels.

Re: These 11 Games Are Coming To Xbox Game Pass, Including Two Major Additions (January 6-22)
Wasn't expecting the first Final Fantasy. I think it's my favorite one! Might play it again.
Re: Clair Obscur Dev Wants To 'Trust Our Instincts' With Follow-Up To 2025's GOTY
@Krzzystuff
I stopped enjoying it soon after Act 1. The only character I cared about was Gustave and his relationship with Maelle... So yeah.
I hated the exploration. Combat was fine, nothing more.
Music was incredible but everything else fell short for me.
Glad I didn't pay for it.

Echo Generation 2 is my most anticipated one, haha.
Re: Resident Evil 4 Remake Cut Level Surfaces Online, Three Years After Launch
The more I read about these remakes, the less I like them.
Re: Talking Point: What Are Your New Year's Resolutions For Gaming In 2026?
I catched up with all the Yakuza, Assassin's Creed, Far Cry and all Persona/Atlus' games.
I'm not sure what my resolution could be this year.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (January 3-4)
I'm still playing Blue Reflection on PS4. It's a pretty chill JRPG. It has quite a bit of fanservice though, so it's definitely not for everyone. But I'm more for the gameplay and story.
Will probably go back to Xbox after this one.
Re: Five Games Are Leaving Xbox Game Pass In Early January 2026
@Rodimusprime13
I finished with no problem tbh. I played it long after it was released though. Maybe they nerfed some bosses or something? I'm not that good.
Re: Five Games Are Leaving Xbox Game Pass In Early January 2026
@RBRTMNZ
I meant no real, good reason. Yeah, I'm with you there.
I really enjoyed it.
Re: Five Games Are Leaving Xbox Game Pass In Early January 2026
Flintlock was pretty good imo. Another game hated for no reason. Kinda short, too. Definitely doable.

+1 on Expedition 33. Way overhyped. Doesn't really do anything new.
Re: Sword And Fairy 4 Remake Likely Coming To Xbox, But The Studio's Still Waiting On Dev Kits
Sword and Fairy 7 was actually pretty good.
Re: 50+ Games Added To Xbox 'Stream Your Own Game' To Finish Off 2025
The first Zero Escape game (back when it was only 999) it's one of the best stories ever created. It's best enjoyed on a DS though.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (December 27-28)
I'm letting my Xbox rest a little. I'm playing Blue Reflection on PS4. Very cute and relaxing JRPG.
Re: Pure Xbox's Game Of The Year 2025: The Results You Didn't See

I didn't realize that. 😂💀

I have +1000 (just on Xbox)... I do have a bit of a problem, yeah 😅
I don't think I will ever finish all.of them unless I keep playing until my 70s

Okay, so... Yeah, definitely more than 100. 😅
347. There are some DLCs there, but there's also some bundles... So more or less. I really need to stop, haha.
Re: Poll: How Many Xbox Games Have You Actually Bought In 2025?
It's an excellent question! I'll check it out, but I have a feeling it was +100.
The other question is easy, 100% digital.
Re: Legendary Game Designer Vince Zampella Has Suddenly Died, Aged 55
I've just bought Titanfall yesterday for the first time.

Re: Talking Point: Will Any Of Xbox's 2026 Releases Become GOTY Contenders Next Year?
No way in hell. Those awards are a joke.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (December 20-21)
Managed to more or less complete my gamer goal.
Finished Child of Light (lovely game!)
Finished The Mummy Demastered (very cool Metroidvania which can be finished in less than 5 hours).
And managed to finish Far Cry Primal just last night.
I feel pretty good about that. I'll do some more side missions in Primal and after that... I don't know.
Re: Talking Point: How Much Time Have You Spent Gaming On Xbox Consoles This Year?
90% Xbox Series
10% PS4 playing old games.

I would try this one, but I play on Xbox, so I'll keep waiting.

I guess it's region-locked or something because I don't have it.
Too bad, it would have been amazing.
Re: The Much-Hyped Action-RPG 'Phantom Blade Zero' Officially Has One Year Of PS5 Exclusivity
That's cool to know! I'll wait a few years more to give them my money!
Game looked nice, but nothing I'm dying to try.
Re: Poll: What Is Your Xbox Game Of The Year For 2025?
Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii.
Assassin's Creed Shadows.
Avowed.
Does For the King 2 counts?
Probably in that order. Shinobi, Ninja Gaiden Ragebound, Earthion and and Ninja Gaiden 4 too, but I haven't finished those yet.
Nothing else comes to mind.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (December 13-14)
@FarmDog08
I really liked The Messenger (haven't finished it though).
Less punishing? I don't know about that... 😂
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (December 13-14)
Finished Echo Generation again and also Child of Light yesterday (lovely game!).
I kind of promised myself to finish a few games I had started before the year ends, and Child of Light was the first of those.
Now it's The Mummy Demastered.
And I'm also just around the finish line in Gladius.
Happy gaming, guys!
Re: Poll: How Would You Grade The Game Awards 2025?
I'm usually really positive, but that was an F.
Re: Here's Everything That Was Revealed At The Game Awards 2025 (For Xbox)
Such an underwhelming event. I expected nothing and I was still let down.
