We've got our 11th announcement for Xbox Game Pass in April 2026 after just two days of the month!

This one is for Tiny Bookshop, which is an amazing Nintendo Switch and PC game that first released last year. In it, you play as someone who's left their life behind to open a travelling bookshop, with the game serving as a casual, cosy simulation title, as well as a narrative adventure.

At times, you'll just need to manage your stock and customise your bookshop to suit your desires, while at others you'll be questioned about book recommendations and will need to pick the right books to keep your customers happy!

Here's what our sister site, Nintendo Life, said about Tiny Bookshop in their review:

"Tiny Bookshop is a fun little experience whether you’re into reading or not, but I think it’s clear that those who can’t leave the house without a paperback will get a lot more out of it. I adore the stylised visuals, the catchy, laid-back tunes, and the satisfying loop that each day brings to the table. I often found myself going to put the game down before stopping myself to see what might happen the next day. Kind of like a great book."

The game has an impressive 81 Metacritic average based on its reviews from last year, but we're even more impressed by its "Overwhelmingly Positive" rating on Steam, with 96% of players giving it a positive verdict.

Tiny Bookshop launches for Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S on April 10th, and it'll be available as part of Xbox Game Pass (exact tiers TBD) and PC Game Pass on the same day. Here are a few more details for it:

Leave everything behind and open a tiny bookshop by the sea in this cozy narrative management game. Stock your tiny bookshop with different books and items, set up shop in scenic locations, and run your cozy second-hand bookshop while getting to know the locals.
