Here's What Asha Sharma Has Been Playing On Her Xbox Account Over The Past Month

It feels like a lifetime ago now, but all the way back in late February, new Xbox boss Asha Sharma shared her Xbox gamertag with the community before being criticised for "faking" it with an artificially inflated gamerscore, to which she clarified that her whole family was sharing the account and that she'd be limiting it to just herself from now on.

To be honest, we don't care what her gamerscore is — Sharma mentioned at the time that she doesn't "pretend to be the best gamer" — but what we are interested in is the type of games she's using to help get herself acquainted with modern-day gaming on Xbox, and the answer is that she's checking out a wide variety of stuff!

Looking at her Xbox account, we can see that the Microsoft Gaming CEO has been sampling the likes of Halo Infinite, Destiny 2, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Wasteland 3, Final Fantasy 3, Minishoot' Adventures, Diablo IV, Keeper, Fallout 76 and Forza Horizon 5 over the past month, albeit only for a small amount of time each game.

You can see a few example achievements she's unlocked below from earlier in the month:

Of course, though, this doesn't tell the full story — Sharma will have been playing games as part of her role as Xbox boss as well, which will involve travelling around to various offices and studios and playing on accounts that aren't her own.

In fact, a recent report from The Information mentioned how she's apparently spent "much" of her first month engaging with developers and playing games, including the upcoming release of Kiln by Double Fine:

"Sharma has been quick to acknowledge her newbie status in the gaming world. She has devoted much of her first month on the job to one-on-one meetings with Xbox staff, soliciting ideas from developers, and spending time playing Xbox games including Call of Duty: Endgame and the adventure game Keeper, as well as unreleased games from Xbox’s studios, such as Kiln, according to interviews with five current Xbox employees."

Clearly, Sharma is committed to the cause when it comes to understanding the Xbox landscape (and indeed, the wider world of gaming), and that's great to see. She's already played a crucial role in revealing Xbox Project Helix and shipping new features, and we're very intrigued (and optimistic!) to see how she leads the brand into the future.
