Considering how busy March has been with the Project Helix announcement and the Xbox leadership changes at the tail-end of last month, we haven't had a chance to highlight many indie games for March yet - so let's change that!

We've already seen some great indie games in March up to this point, including a couple that have launched on Xbox Game Pass. There's plenty more to come as well, and we encourage you to explore all the games in our "next week" roundups that we publish every Saturday, as there are definitely some hidden gems to be discovered!

In this feature, we're picking out ten games that have particularly caught our eye, although keep in mind that there are many others we could have included, and more will be announced as the month rolls on as well.

Here are 10 Xbox indie games that we think should be on your radar in March 2026:

Minishoot' Adventures (March 3) (Xbox Game Pass)

Fly into a charming handcrafted world and go on an adventure that mixes up open exploration with crispy twin-stick shooter action. Fight your way from the shiny overworld to the deepest caves, improve your ship and overcome the dungeons' bosses to rescue your friends!

Scott Pilgrim EX (March 3)

Scott Pilgrim EX is an action-adventure game where players can fight as Scott Pilgrim, Ramona Flowers and more as they battle through the fractured time and space of Toronto. The combat gameplay is driven by instinct and improvisation - a hectic ballet of fists and flair that rewards strategy, spontaneity, and a good bit of brawling chaos.

Citadelum (March 5)

Build your settlement. Gather and refine resources from forests and quarries, breed animals, grow vegetables, fish and make wine, so you can keep your population healthy and fed. Improve your buildings and ensure water supply with aqueducts. Welcome citizens to your village as artisans, farmers, carpenters... or train them to join your legions in different units. Towers and walls will protect your village from barbarian attacks, while it grows into a magnificent city.

Extra Coin (March 5)

Enter The Arcade, a virtual utopia where digital personas hide dark truths. You are Mika, searching for your parents in a world where followers are currency and every day is a loop. Armed with a mysterious necklace that reveals true identities, you'll challenge the system from within: dueling users, uncovering secrets, and building your character in a story-driven adventure that questions what we're willing to sacrifice for a second chance at life.

Planet of Lana 2 (March 5) (Xbox Game Pass)

As greed and power divide the tribes of their home planet, Lana and her little companion, Mui, must stand together against the forces reshaping their world – struggling not just for survival, but for the soul of their home.

Sumerian Six (March 6)

Lead an unlikely team of commando scientists behind enemy lines to fight Nazis, uncover arcane mysteries, and wield experimental technology to turn the tide of WWII in this real-time tactical stealth adventure.

Starship Troopers: Ultimate Bug War! (March 16)

Lock and load into the Starship Troopers universe and join the Mobile Infantry in the most realistic depiction of war ever made! Experience an original story in this action-packed, first-person retro shooter. Would you like to know more?

The Coin Game (March 19)

A collection of ticket redemption arcades with realistic physics, a carnival, goofy robots, open world design, a global ranking system and silly prizes. Featuring 50+ modern inspired arcade machines and a pawn shop to keep money in your pocket. The Coin Game is made by a solo developer.

ICARUS: Console Edition (Was Delayed From February 26 To March 26)
