Today's Xbox Partner Preview showcase was absolutely filled with great games, and two of 2025's very best games were finally announced to be getting Xbox versions as part of it - those being Dispatch and Hades 2.
If you look at Metacritic, Hades 2 was actually the second highest-rated game of all of 2025 across every platform, racking up a ridiculous 95/100 average review score. Its Xbox release date is now set for April 14th, 2026, and the best bit is that it's launching on Xbox Game Pass as well. What a treat for next month!
Meanwhile, Dispatch is a Telltale Games-style adventure where you have to manage a bunch of misfit superheroes, and it racked up a ton of attention last year when it released on PC and PS5. It was the 27th best game of 2025 across all platforms according to Metacritic, with another extremely impressive average review score of 87/100.
Dispatch's Xbox release window is Summer 2026, but this one won't be available on Xbox Game Pass.
Another thing to mention about both of these games is that they're Xbox Play Anywhere titles, meaning if you buy them for your Xbox console, you'll get the PC version for free. That's an amazing deal for two of last year's best games!
Here are a few more details on each of them:
Dispatch (Summer 2026) (Xbox Play Anywhere)
Dispatch is a superhero workplace comedy where choices matter. Manage a dysfunctional team of misfit heroes and strategize who to send to emergencies around the city, all while balancing office politics, personal relationships, and your own quest to become a hero.
Hades 2 (April 14, 2026) (Xbox Game Pass) (Xbox Play Anywhere)
The first-ever sequel from Supergiant Games builds on the best aspects of the original god-like rogue-like dungeon crawler in an all-new, action-packed, endlessly replayable experience rooted in the Underworld of Greek myth and its deep connections to the dawn of witchcraft.
