I finished a lot of games this year, some of them not on Xbox (very few) and some that I had already finished before. But I actually keep track.
Here's my list:
Metaphor ReFantazio
Atelier Rorona
Streets of Rage 4
The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles
WWE 2K15
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax
RetroRealms: Ash vs Evil Dead
Evil West
Avowed
Eiyuden
Like a Dragon Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii
Assassin's Creed Shadows
Toki Juju Densetsu
Lords of Exile
(Not)God of War (the PS4 one)
Save Room
God of War 1
God of War 2
God of War: Chains of Olympus
God of War 3
Marlow Briggs and the Mask of Death
Castle of Illusion (Original)
Double Dragon (NES)
Disorder: Save Your Family
Trash Quest
Knights of Pen and Paper +1
South of Midnight
Zombie Survivors
Jedi Survivor
Expedition 33
Rocket Rats
Farmer Survivors
Undertale
Echo Generation
Terra Memoria
Fate/Extra
Rise of the Tomb Raider
Raidou Remastered
Jade Empire
The Rogue Prince of Persia
Dragon Age: The Veilguard
The Outer Worlds
Injustice 1
South Park: The Stick of Truth
Mortal Kombat 1
Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments
Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter
Inscryption
Child of Light
The Mummy Demastered
Far Cry Primal
Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii was the best of those IMO.
Here's my ranking if anyone's interested. Took the images from HowLongToBeat but a few games weren't there. A few games changed positions since last time I made it this year. I alao had finished WWE 2K25 but forgot:
Avowed was hated for no reason. It was compared to Skyrim which it isn't trying to be and then hated because it's not that.
I don't care if I can't pick up every spoon and bowl. Avowed was fun, with cool characters and an interesting enough story. It was a proper RPG. Definitely deserved more love.
Finished Child of Light (lovely game!) Finished The Mummy Demastered (very cool Metroidvania which can be finished in less than 5 hours). And managed to finish Far Cry Primal just last night.
I feel pretty good about that. I'll do some more side missions in Primal and after that... I don't know.
It's a very short, very sweet RPG with Stranger Things vibes. It's a little too simple combat wise (Paper Mario), but imo it's part of the charm. I really liked it. Story it's a little light but it has some cool moments. I think it's on sale right now. If you don't go expecting anything too complex I'd say it's a steal.
Welp, I'm ready to not watch anything from them. Hopefully they prove me wrong, but Netflix is infamous for its terrible adaptations and race-swapping.
I liked Avowed ,Shadows and South of Midnight from that list. Probably would like The Outer Worlds 2, but haven't gotten around yet. The other ones don't make it to my top 10.
Honestly I'm between games, not sure what to give my full attention to. Tried a little of Clover Pit which is pretty fun. I've also tried the Star Trek game which kinda like a Telltale one. Resurgence I think? It's fun. But nothing really hooked me so far. It's a me problem, not the games though. I'll keep trying and see what happens.

Re: The Top 10 Xbox Game Pass Titles Of 2025, As Determined By Your Votes
@McDen
+1 on Expedition 33. Way overhyped. Doesn't really do anything new.
Re: Sword And Fairy 4 Remake Likely Coming To Xbox, But The Studio's Still Waiting On Dev Kits
Sword and Fairy 7 was actually pretty good.
Re: 50+ Games Added To Xbox 'Stream Your Own Game' To Finish Off 2025
The first Zero Escape game (back when it was only 999) it's one of the best stories ever created. It's best enjoyed on a DS though.
Re: 'Nintendo Buying Xbox' Begins Trending After Hoax Goes Viral On Social Media
Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.

I have one message and it's from Microsoft. π
Re: Poll: What Were The Best Xbox Game Pass Additions In 2025?
I think my favorite was The Rogue Prince of Persia or Veilguard.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (December 27-28)
I'm letting my Xbox rest a little. I'm playing Blue Reflection on PS4. Very cute and relaxing JRPG.
Re: Pure Xbox's Game Of The Year 2025: The Results You Didn't See
Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, Avowed, Assassin's Creed Shadows and South of Midnight were my favorite from this year.

I didn't realize that. ππ

I have +1000 (just on Xbox)... I do have a bit of a problem, yeah π

Okay, so... Yeah, definitely more than 100. π
347. There are some DLCs there, but there's also some bundles... So more or less. I really need to stop, haha.
Re: Poll: How Many Xbox Games Have You Actually Bought In 2025?
It's an excellent question! I'll check it out, but I have a feeling it was +100.
The other question is easy, 100% digital.
Re: Legendary Game Designer Vince Zampella Has Suddenly Died, Aged 55
I've just bought Titanfall yesterday for the first time.

Only Shinobi from that list for me.

Re: Talking Point: Will Any Of Xbox's 2026 Releases Become GOTY Contenders Next Year?
No way in hell. Those awards are a joke.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (December 20-21)
Managed to more or less complete my gamer goal.
Finished Child of Light (lovely game!)
Finished The Mummy Demastered (very cool Metroidvania which can be finished in less than 5 hours).
And managed to finish Far Cry Primal just last night.
I feel pretty good about that. I'll do some more side missions in Primal and after that... I don't know.
Re: Talking Point: How Much Time Have You Spent Gaming On Xbox Consoles This Year?
90% Xbox Series
10% PS4 playing old games.
Re: 2025 GOTY Contender 'Dispatch' Just Got Revealed For Switch, But What About Xbox?
I would try this one, but I play on Xbox, so I'll keep waiting.
Re: Xbox Game Pass Premium Is Free For 14 Days With New Discord Quest
I guess it's region-locked or something because I don't have it.
Too bad, it would have been amazing.
Re: The Much-Hyped Action-RPG 'Phantom Blade Zero' Officially Has One Year Of PS5 Exclusivity
That's cool to know! I'll wait a few years more to give them my money!
Game looked nice, but nothing I'm dying to try.
Re: Poll: What Is Your Xbox Game Of The Year For 2025?
Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii.
Assassin's Creed Shadows.
Avowed.
Does For the King 2 counts?
Probably in that order. Shinobi, Ninja Gaiden Ragebound, Earthion and and Ninja Gaiden 4 too, but I haven't finished those yet.
Nothing else comes to mind.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (December 13-14)
@FarmDog08
I really liked The Messenger (haven't finished it though).
Less punishing? I don't know about that... π
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (December 13-14)
Finished Echo Generation again and also Child of Light yesterday (lovely game!).
I kind of promised myself to finish a few games I had started before the year ends, and Child of Light was the first of those.
Now it's The Mummy Demastered.
And I'm also just around the finish line in Gladius.
Happy gaming, guys!
Re: Poll: How Would You Grade The Game Awards 2025?
I'm usually really positive, but that was an F.
Re: Here's Everything That Was Revealed At The Game Awards 2025 (For Xbox)
Such an underwhelming event. I expected nothing and I was still let down.
Re: Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Adds Lots Of New Features In Today's Free 'Thank You' Update
Still no maps? No, thanks.
Re: Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Devs Bemoan Lack Of Awards At TGA 2025

Re: Resident Evil Legend Leon Kennedy Confirmed For Requiem Thanks To Store Page Reveal
I'll keep playing the OG RE4, thank you.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (December 6-7)
@NintendoByNature
Then I think you'll enjoy it! And we get Echo Generation 2 in Game Pass next year too.

Child of Light.
Echo Generation (again).
And For the King.

Welp, I'm ready to not watch anything from them.
Hopefully they prove me wrong, but Netflix is infamous for its terrible adaptations and race-swapping.

Just Cosmic Invasion and Terminator for me.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (November 29-30)
Started Child of Light a few days ago. Stunning game!
Re: Talking Point: Will You Be Revisiting Red Dead Redemption On Xbox Next Week?
Nah, bored me to tears the only time I've played it.
Re: Three Xbox First-Party Games Make The Cut In AP's Top 10 Releases Of 2025
I liked Avowed ,Shadows and South of Midnight from that list.
Probably would like The Outer Worlds 2, but haven't gotten around yet.
The other ones don't make it to my top 10.
Re: Waiting Patiently For Far Cry 7? Ubisoft Has Just Announced A Far Cry TV Show Instead
As long as it doesn't have anything to do with 3 I would be happy. But that's probably the most popular one.
Re: Poll: Which Is Your Favourite Xbox 360 Launch Title?
Gun is still my favorite western game. I don't give a sh#t about RDR and both Red Dead Redemption games.
Revolver was pretty cool though.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (November 22-23)
Re: Ubisoft Has Two Major Releases Planned By April 2026, One Being The Prince Of Persia Remake
Everyone is doing remakes these days. I mean they sell, so it makes sense. It's just not my thing.
I'd prefer if it's Far Cry 7 but I'm not getting my hopes up.
Re: Expedition 33 Wins GOTY As Xbox Takes Home Two Awards At The Golden Joysticks 2025
It was a solid 7 for me. But I'm glad if this means we'll get more JRPGs.
Hopefully better than this one.
Re: Roundup: All The Reveals From 2025's Xbox Partner Preview Showcase
