Love the corporate speak. Then when a new Call of Duty or Diablo, or whatever comes out Microsoft says "Well its a brand new game, it has no community, therefor it is now Xbox exclusive!"
Something might be going on, I've noticed a couple new games added to the 360 store recently. Hopefully it means new back compat games incoming, but I'm not gonna get my hopes up.
I really hope this doesn't happen. Between the Mass Effect Legendary Edition, Dead Space remake, Dragon Age 4, and a new Mass Effect, EA seems to finally be (slowly) turning things around. Selling to an even bigger corporation can only be a bad thing.
Remember when Plankton tires to get SpongeBob to make him a krabby patty by giving him whatever he wants? Xbox is Plankton.
Giving studios all the time, resources, and freedom in the world is why their games take forever/never come out. Don't screw them over like they did with Ensemble and Lionhead but you gotta be willing to put your foot down before things go too far.
Tales of Arise was hands down my game of the year for 2021, I'm so happy it got put on Xbox. Hopefully their comment on "an opportunity to rediscover the history of the series" means we'll get some of the older games on Xbox as well.
Bandai Namco was really great with supporting the Xbox with Tales, Scarlet Nexus, and Code Vein and i hope they all sold well enough to make them keep putting their games on the system.
I play back compat games pretty often and it helped me play a lot of games i wouldn't have normally played. The Mass Effect trilogy (before the legendary edition), Splinter Cell, Fable, Witcher 2, Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, and a bunch of others i missed out on.
I bought one but ended up returning it. It was really nice and convenient but i couldn't justify keeping it at the time. I'll end up getting one eventually but I'm still holding out hope for prices to go down or cheaper 3rd party options.
If a developer wants to make their game hard with no option for a lower difficulty then that's ok, it's their game. But they need to make sure the game is as balanced and as fair as possible, that simple.
If a game is difficult but fair I'll be determined as hell to get through it no matter how many times i die. But if i keep dying due to some unfair garbage cough*ninjagaiden3razorsedge finalboss*cough then there's no fun or enjoyment in trying to overcome it.
I still miss my Lumia 900 and 928 all the time. Still my favorite smartphones i ever had. It would be great if this means we'll finally get Halo Spartan Strike on Xbox. I actually really liked Spartan Assault and I've wanted to try Spartan Strike for a long time
The village mission being at night doesn't really make sense though. Why would Leon start his search at night? And will the villagers have plagas come out of their heads during that initial battle now? And what about when he wakes up after the Del Lago fight? After that it was night, will it be morning in the remake?
So much has changed since Scalebound got cancelled. Back then Platinum and Xbox as a whole were a mess. Platinum was teetering on collapse and Phill Spencer was trying to clean up the entire company. Both parties are in good places now and have grown a lot, that plus with new hardware i think Scalebound could work now. But I'm also desperate to play it so I'm slightly biased 😂
I recommend iin. It's a puzzle game and you get an achievement for every puzzle you solve. Puzzles are easy and the game is only 5 bucks. I save it for when the weekly rewards set requires you to get 3 achievements.
That's a shame and concerning. My whole thing with the Series S was that as long as it ran everything at at least 1080p60fps that's good enough for me.
Between Guardians of the Galaxy and now this i think Series S owners are gonna be stuck with a lot of 30fps games.
All the 360 Gears games got FPS boost so there's not much more to be done on them for a collection. Fable 1 and 3 got FPS boost so maybe a Fable collection where 2 gets a full remaster?
Phil is a master at corporate speak. He expressed their "desire" to keep it on Playstation, but their desire and doing what's "best for business" are rarely the same.
I think it would be smart to keep CoD on Playstation indefinitely, just to extend a small olive branch, but hey it's not my 70 billion being spent.
This doesn't do ***** for Xbox players. We already got all of those games, all this will do is take those games away from Playstation players and make Sony even more aggressive when it comes to making bigger and more 3rd party deals.

Re: Playground Games Seeking Experienced Senior Gameplay Animator For The Next Fable
It's a shame Microsoft never had a studio full of people with experience not only in making RPG's but with the Fable series as well.
They couldn't have, it's not like if they did they'd of shut them down and fired everyone, that would just be stupid!
Re: PlayStation Store Conjures Speculation Over Final Fantasy VII Remake Coming To Xbox
It's taken so long my enthusiasm is just gone. A year ago i wound have gotten it day one, now id be content to just wait for it to go on sale.
Re: Assassin's Creed Origins 60FPS Update Arrives June 2 On Xbox Series X|S
It's pretty cool that Ubisoft is still updating these old AC games. Here's hoping Syndicate is next.
Re: Xbox Games With Gold For June 2022 Announced
Member when they gave out Halo and Assassin's Creed games? I member.
Re: Xbox One Is Probably Here To Stay, Whether We Like It Or Not
Xbox One games can look amazing. As long as those can be made to run at 60fps on the new consoles then I'm ok with it.
Re: Talking Point: What June 2022 Xbox Games With Gold Do You Want?
Wouldn't it be something if one of them was Sonic 06 after idiots like me bought it when it got put back up 😂
Re: Surprise! Sonic '06 Has Been Relisted On The Xbox 360 Marketplace
Something might be going on, I've noticed a couple new games added to the 360 store recently. Hopefully it means new back compat games incoming, but I'm not gonna get my hopes up.
Re: Assassin's Creed Origins 60FPS Update Reportedly Imminent
@Shigurui Ahh nice! You can see it's been a while since i played it 😂
Re: Assassin's Creed Origins 60FPS Update Reportedly Imminent
If this is true hopefully 60fps options will be added for Unity and Syndicate as well.
Re: EA Reportedly Keen To Sell Or Merge

Re: Halo Infinite Players Share Their 'Disappointment' Over 2022 Roadmap
I only play Halo for the campaigns but even i can see that that roadmap is insulting. I feel bad for all the players that love Halo multiplayer.
Id have a little sympathy for 343 if they didn't actively ***** on fans but they've flushed any goodwill they had down the toilet.
Re: YouTuber Angry Joe Threatens To Take CBS To Court Over Halo Dispute

Re: Xbox Game Pass Members Are Discovering The Joys Of 'Lost In Random'
It's one of those games i played for a while and i loved it but i stopped playing for some reason. Great game though, any Tim Burton fan would love it
Re: Talking Point: Do You Own Any Xbox Games You've Never Played?
I shop sales all the time so I'd say i have at least 120 Xbox games I've never played 😂

Re: Hardware Review: PowerA Duo Charging Station For Xbox Series X|S
I have this and it works decently. Just doesn't have the best battery life so you just have to make sure to charge it most nights.
Re: Rumour: Microsoft Might Permanently 'Combine' Xbox Live Gold With Game Pass
Ahh Microsoft, always trying to find a way to punish people for not having gamepass
Re: Talking Point: Have You Ever Bought A Game Just Before Its Game Pass Announcement?
Not Gamepass, but i bought Sonic Generations and a week later it was one of the games with gold
Re: Talking Point: How Often Do You Play Backwards Compatible Games On Xbox?

Re: Bethesda Says 'Players Are Going To Lose Their Minds' Over Starfield
@Hexamex-Tex Some people still buy games and dont use gamepass. Also just saying "no preorders" is practically tradition at this point.
Re: Bethesda Says 'Players Are Going To Lose Their Minds' Over Starfield
No preorders
Re: Rare's Everwild Set To Feature A 'Large Scale Multiplayer World'
Another generation of Rare only working on one game. Even all these years later its still so sad to see what they've become.
