i'm not confident in either right now to be honest but i am currently more drawn to PlayStation mainly because as a JRPG gamer and Anime fan there is currently more guarantee the games i want will come to PlayStation than XBOX

this could have something to do with the fact that the XB1 gets most of it's data for stuff like this via a online connection (have you not noticed that some games tiles actually change sometimes?) so perhaps it could just be that the data isn't there or the XB1 wasn't able to find the current data

@Jacoby i had that very same issue but i assumed that was because the XB1 i use isn't my home system (that's the one in my living room) and you can't play anything at all unless it's connected online

after the last one they should have lost the rights to make ANY WWE game

it was the OG XBOX and my first game was Oddworld Munch's Oddysee

see those words JUST FOR, i never said anything about it coming to other systems or the smart delivery system or the "XBOX family", i asked if MS had changed their stance on Series X exclusive games because the article says "Is A New Perfect Dark In The Works For Xbox Series X?" the article itself makes no mention on XB1 or P.C, just SX

@Grot yeah although they still block MMO's behind XBL Gold, even free to play ones, for example Star Trek Online is on the XB1 and it's free to play but you still need XBL to play it

surface to say while both have made improvements in some areas they still need to work on others

personally i would like FFXIV to come to XB1 because of the way Square Enix link a console ID to a Square ID i can not access the game on PS4 at all because i was in the original Beta but i have no idea what Square account i used and i can't change it so the game is unplayable on PS4 for me, if it came to XB1 i could finally play it

@Grot @Incarna actually the reason it's not on XBOX currently is Microsofts fault, Sony isn't "!Holding it hostage" they have no say it the matter, apparently it's because the in game chat and guild system is against MS's policy

i can understand it NOT coming to game pass, it is after all a game that requires a subscription by itself

plus with series x on the way i think it's more likely it will be released on that if it gets a xbox release

I also apologise for being snappy but i have been a bit stressed lately, the pressure at work is getting high during this current situation, it's not a excuse but it's all i have

@KelticDevil all i did was share a bit of news about what a developer said about the next gen systems and how it MIGHT be an issue if it's true and then you jump on it and make it look like i was personally attacking the XBOX systems

Push Square might be getting a bit over zealous of late but if anyone is acting the hurt fanboy here it's you

i live in the sticks (so to speak) and the internet here, even for fibre barely tops 30mps so i avoid large downloads whenever i can help it because they take hours

of course i know that even patches can be big but thankfully my systems will do that automatically during the night so my games are always ready to go (and also why i like the PS4's option of allowing you to play a game even though a patch is downloading, you just can't play online, no problem for a single player guy like me, it just installs next time you boot it up)

it probably is one of the biggest reasons i stick to physical games, that and how i love to have a game i can actually hold and put on my shelf

@SuperNintendoMii personally i think they should put in a 3rd and 1st person option that way everybody can play it how they like

apparently it's going to be first person as well which is a shame, i think Resi is better 3rd person myself

@ThePrettySenshi it was a pretty good game for it's day, i wouldn't say it's aged great though at least not the original, the HD remaster is a bit better though

having an internal battery is fine, but they just need to make sure that the batteries can be easily replaced and at least with MS doing it like this you can do that easily, you put in a plug and play kit if you want a chargeable battery and when it dies you can easily replace it or use AA batteries in an emergency

you know there is one thing that bugs me about things like this and i know it's small and petty but when it's on it's side the XBOX symbol is the wrong way round, it would do my OCD in having it laying down like that

that's why i loved how on the original PS3 model and all the PS2 models you could rotate the symbol

@Gamecuber you know i still don't understand why digital games are more expensive like you said you would think without the need to manufacture and press discs or print cases or ship it around the world they would be cheaper

@Gamecuber yeah i know of some games where the developer just threw them out with part of the game on it and the rest was delivered as a "patch", the last Tony Hawks game by Activision is one and it's a practise i have no time for, if i find a game is like that then i just don't buy it period

of course the publisher could just use more discs, the FFVII Remake for example is coming on 2 blu-rays but they just cheap out just like they do on Switch games that require "extra download"

the options are there especially with disc based systems as blu-rays are pretty cheap now a days but they won't put in the money, i would pay a little extra for it if needed

@Gamecuber well even if that's the case and lets take FFXV as the example because that changed a lot over the years at least there will still be a version of the game to buy and play, even if it's the vanilla version where as by the time the updates and stuff are taken offline then the digital version will be too and that you wouldn't be able to buy at all

Physical, always Physical, i want to actually OWN my game and have control of when i can access it regardless of if i'm online or not

also price is a big factor too, why would i pay £60 for a digital game when the physical version can go as low as £10 if brought used and depending on age

doesn't XBOX always do quite well in the U.S though, it's their target audience after all

not to mention there is the whole "homemade" mentality (where people tend to prefer things made by companies from their own country)

anyway i'm sure both PS5 and Series X will do fine, it will take something really big for either one to fail

i don't mind the design, i just think it looks odd compared to other systems we have had over the years

then again i thought that about the GameCube before it came out and i love that little thing

Sorry with over 140 million consoles sold between the current PS and XBOX so potentially at least that many next gen console sales a sample size of 30k is very small and not really a proper indicator of how people really feel

don't get me wrong it might be that the result is still the same but i think a bigger pool is needed

@SuperNintendoMii America has a more bigger and more efficient infrastructure than the UK and Europe does, especially in the bigger cities so they can handle more then they can over here

yeah i downloaded it earlier, i was finally able to see The Mandalorian and it was pretty good (even IF it's plot has already been ruined thanks to social media and toys) not to mention The Clone Wars and FINALLY a UK release of the Lost missions aka season 6

it's fine, options are good BUT they could at least put in a rechargeable battery pack when you buy the console

Although it did remind me i need to pick up the XB1 version of Kakarot, i have platinumed the PS4 version and literally have nothing left in the game to do but i wanna play through it again
