that's quite cool actually but I have 4 HDMI ports on my TV any way and I'm only useing 2 (PS3 and WiiU 360 is using a component cable) so I won't be connecting any other console to it I can just change the channel

still it's a fun little idea

i don't know about anyone else but iv'e been calling it the Xbox Live Marketplace for so long it's going to be hard not to continue to call it the Xbox Live Marketplace

all these improvements and still no built in battery, oh wait you can buy a battery pack

still the updates they have made sound nice but untill I can get my hands on one I'll never know

@Gamer83 sad thing is that all the consoles not just the PlayStation but MS and Nintendo too have all these die hard fanboys who just argue for the sake of it

to be honest the console brand itself isn't really that important weather you play on xbox, playstation, nintendo or even pc what's most important is that you have fun doing it

why someone can become so attached to a plastic box (and that's all it is really) that they have to belittle, make fun of and even physically hurt people who use the others is beyond me

well at least now you don't have to use it if you don't want too, but i can't help but feel that if they did a version without Kinect they would shift more units

i know a lot of people who want a xbox one but not a Kinect and ain't getting one as long as the Kinect is included because it's too expensive

@hydeks @Gamer83 thing now i look at it i don't think i could afford either at launch anyway as there are so many games and DVD's coming out that i want and i need a new PC or Laptop, but still a date would be nice anyway

still my version of AC2 is on the PS3 and i did platinum it so maybe i should download it on 360 anyway and try to 100% it, it'll give me a reason to play it again

i think they should do digital like the PS3 does while you can only have them on two consoles at a time anyone on either console can access the whole game with no restrictions and they wouldn't even need to be signed in to your account

see family sharing can work my brother has access to my whole PS+ library even though he's not on PS+ ans by limiting it to just a few consoles it does away with people taking advantage of multiple game sharing between friends while still letting them share with family

yeah the game looks great i can't wait to do co-op battles with my mates, it's about time the series had them

just hoping they kept in the character creation too and wondering if SSJ4 will be in this one because thanks to the new movie we have no idea if GT is part of the series canon any more (at least SSJGod is in the game)

i still think MS should give the option as to if you have it or not, i like many others for one don't want a kinect so if they released 2 versions one with the Kinect and one without at about the same price as the PS4 they would get a lot more sales

@SuperKMx the only games iv'e seen with a RRP that high were EA games

£54.99p that's not how much current gen 360 games are that like £15 more expensive

@SuperKMx well maybe they will listen but MS just seem to be looking at america with the XB1 while ignoring the rest of the world i mean it's not even launching in Japan this year and that could alienate a lot of japanese developers

to be honest if MS just got rid of all the DRM crap the XB1 pre-orders would skyrocket even if it cost more than the PS4, but they won't they say they want to play the "long game" but while that may have worked for sony with the PS3 i don't think it will for MS and the XB1

this could really come back and bite MS in the butt and badly if it's not handled right

also the fact that they are not launching in japan could hurt them too especially with japanese developers

thing is while this is big news for the xboxone, it won't sell nearly as many as the PS4 version will because many kingdom hearts fans are playstation owners (or multi system like myself) not to mention in japan the xbox brand is all but dead and this is a very big brand in japan even bigger then anywhere else

@Sony_70 oh i wasn't saying it's a bad thing it's just the 360 cases have a lot more going on and they grab your attention when on the shelf, but with these i think they would just fade in with every other case and just not stand out as much

i think they concentrated too much on things gamers don't really care about it was all mainly about TV and how you can watch TV through it, well i already have something that can do that MY TV hell i can even watch TV on my PS3 if i wanted

i don't need a box to talk to people on skype or watch TV or browse the internet after all i already have all the tools to do that, i just need something to play games and they showed very little of that

now i'm still interested because E3 is right round the corner so i'm guessing they saved the big guns till then but if they blow that like they did the reveal then i won't be touching the xbox one

with the xbox one reveal MS has hurt the people that should matter the most with a gaming platform THE GAMERS because after all the main consumers of the hardware will be the gamers and these things along with things like blocking used games and requiring you to connect to the net everyday have really put people off

not to mention that the online service they are offing is basically the same as what sony said the PS4 will do but for FREE while MS still charge is also a kick in the b****

if MS don't get their act together for E3 they will lose a lot of consumers many of my friends who are die hard xbox fans are saying they will have nothing to do with this new console and that's bad news for MS because a lot of people are thinking the same way at the moment

but as for the console i'm really on the fence here because i decided to only get either a Xbox or a PlayStation to go with my Nintendo this time and not all three like last time i'm not to bothered about exclusives as most of what i play are multiplats anyway but so far i have seen nothing from either to "wet my appetite" as of yet so i'm hoping for a good show from both at E3 this year

i just wished they had concentrated on the games more but i guess they are saving that for E3 still they could have showed some gamplay instead of trailers and a few more games and also all that TV stuff they showed was all US specific and wont do us in the UK or anywhere else in the world any good unless they are going to be working with other TV providers for regional specific programs or just let it be used as a freeview box

still i am interested in the system but i only want a system for games and they showed nearly nothing about that and all the other stuff they showed i already have things that can do that stuff so for the me the reveal event was a waste

and am i the only one who finds the thought that you can turn on the console by voice kinda creepy? because after all that would mean that even when the console if off it's still constantly listening to you and everyone else, everything that's said is still being picked up by it and that just bugs me, it makes me feel somewhere someone may be spying on you (a little paranoid i know)

so what about houses like mine where we all have our own profiles on my xbox, will they be able to play my games on their profile so they can have their owns saves and achievements or will they have to pay too even though it would be on the same console i installed it on

things like this need to be cleared up

well at least it's not always online

but honestly i know the PS3 has to install most games because of the limitation that blu-ray had at the time but the way this is being said i don't think it will work unless it installs as you play

honestly just limiting yourself to one console is a mistake, but i do understand that not everyone can afford all of them but if you can you really should own them all

you know if the rumours about the next xbox are true and with what the PS4 is doing. pretty soon thing's like these wont be needed to stream your games or upload to youtube because the console itself will be able to do it

Just calling it "Xbox" to me seems like a step backwards especially since it was only 2 consoles ago that one had the same name.

Honestly i prefer Xbox 720 or hell even Xbox 3

It also makes me think the should have just called the 360 the "Xbox 2" then the new one could just be called "Xbox 3" it would have saved all this commotion

JoWooD Entertainment weren't they they Guys who were doing the cancelled Stargate SG-1 FPS game and then went bankrupt?

we learned that even though the tech is good it's not there yet and that games still need some kind of traditional control ie: stick and buttons to use in conjunction with the motion control's

but the voice commands are good and they tend to work already

honestly i think that if they had some kind of control you could use with it it would be fine

for me it never actually went wrong at all, guess i was just lucky

as long as you can turn it off so you don't have to use it then it's fine, but i don't want it shoved in my face and have to have it

it's not important to me at all because i keep my old consoles i play my xbox games on my xbox and once (or if) i get the next xbox i will play my 360 games on my 360 after all that's what they are for

still i now have about 20 gaming systems because of this so i have to have multiple TVs to have them all connected but that's not really a problem

me and a friend was talking about this last night and i had a thought (rare for me i know) but what if they did all this on purpose, just hear me out ok

they release the news that the next xbox will require a always on internet connection to play games and then they have a person defend this statement, then they look at the feedback the consumers [that's us] give to see if it is indeed a viable option to put this feature into the next xbox, you know using us to see if it would work without telling us they are so we give a honest response

while i'm still interested in the next xbox i really hope this rumour isn't true we don't get that good of a internet connection where we are and a system like this just wont work for me

MS need to either confirm or deny this NOW and not wait until their xbox meeting because everyday this rumour is allowed to live is damaging them

and also Orth's attitude on this matter has been atrocious "deal with it" he may have just as well said f**k you to everyone
