Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (November 4-5)

Another weekend is here folks, and we want to know what you're playing for the first weekend of November! October was a busy one when it came to new releases, not to mention this week's arrival of the Modern Warfare 3 campaign, so there's plenty to be playing on Xbox this weekend.

Here's what we're getting stuck into:

Ben Kerry, Staff Writer

This weekend I'll be playing through the new Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 campaign. Sure, multiplayer is where I always spend the majority of my time with CoD, but this whole early access thing is allowing me to squeeze some campaign time in before the online servers go live.

When I've wrapped up a playthrough of the MW3 campaign, I'll probably get stuck into the big new update for Gran Turismo 7 on PS5. There's loads to go at with Polyphony's latest GT7 patch - and I can even get three buddies involved if I want to try out the new four-player local split-screen mode!

Have a great weekend, folks.

Ahoy folks, I’m going to brave Hackett’s Quarry to see if I can have at least one camp counsellor survive the night. The Quarry seems to have gotten a fair few moderate reviews back when it was released but I’m thoroughly enjoying it… well minus the absolute shame I feel having slaughtered a few of the counsellors already. Y’know the shifting from super spooky October 31st vibes to full on Christmas mode November 1st meme? Yeah, it seems like I’m not ready to let go of the spine-tingling chills of horror just yet.

When I’m not responsible for the safety and well-being of a group of rowdy teen counsellors, I’m going to hop step and dropkick myself back into Dead Island 2 to check out the new Haus DLC. I loved the base game content so I’m super excited to see how the new stuff holds up. And, after all the blood, gore and murder I’ll take a break with the upcoming Persona 5 Tactica (which has been great so far! Proper vibrant and ‘Personaful’) and Gears Tactics from the sofa on the ASUS ROG Ally.

Happy gaming!
