@BAMozzy Halo was done in engine by a 3rd party. Was it a mistake ? Of course and I'm hopeful they learned to do better. Remember Gears 5? The game actually come out better.

Cgi is fine especially if its running in engine on a normal pc or console mixed with some game play.

Insomniac is probably a top 5 studio. They make some great games and Ratchet and Clank series is one of the best platformer/action games ever.

Rising is my favorite followed by the MSX games. Never really got into the Solid series, just found it to over the top for me.

Hope Splinter Cell series makes a return for my espionage fix.

Depends on how you look at it, Ms clearly views Xbox as a app. That is the direction makes them the most profit. Fewer physical releases, more always online. Somehow Mattrick model for Xbox is alive and well lol

I enjoyed Immortals....heck I enjoyed all the Assassins Creed open world games If im being honest. Never tried any of the banjo games as I skipped the N64 but guess there is a few darlings on rare replay I would like to try.

Wished MS wouldn't give up on games so easily, Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Ryse and Recore to name a few. Really enjoyed Recore as it felt like there was something to build off in that one.

Spiderman 2 will have a massive marketing budget. Something either xbox won't or can't do. Might see a Xbox commercial here and there and it will probably show the same thing they been showing since 2011.

@AlwaysPlaying Xbox has made it very clear they are a service provider and like you dont expect new hardware from them. Maybe a dongle to plug into your TV packaged with any number of controllers they provide.

I don't think it matter's unless you're a share holder at one of these company's.

What happens if it doesn't ? Cod isn't going away but we could see Activision start selling assets off if that is what share holders want.

Dishonored series are fantastic experiences and I enjoyed Prey.

@mousieone I did say that and its a fact. Sony and Nintendo do not release broken games like Redfall and you brought up Pokemon which has been pointed out is NOT a Nintendo 1st party game. It's clear MS has a mgmt problem and Phil admitted as much. Maybe he needs help or Xbox needs some kind of restructuring.

Phil should hire Tim Schaffer to manage game development. At the very least he understands what makes a great game.

Keep saying they have Nobody in charge of game development with actual game building experience. Phil is the perfect PR guy and went to bat to get the great backwards compatible games done. But he needs to hire somebody to oversee game development.
