Had 419 boxed Xbox games across 4 platforms. Been Xbox supporter since 2001 but can do that no longer. Sold my 5 consoles and games Saturday. Bring on Switch 2 and maybe a PS5 in the near future.

Well yeah the Series X is for sure the last Xbox that plays physical media. Xbox has been awful on that front since Xone. The big question isn't whether PS follows suit with PS6 but will there be a next Xbox ? If it is all digital why would you choose it over a PC ?

MS are a software/tech company that offers some hardware and Xbox will be the next windows phone. Just is what it is

@OldGamer999 I believe its obvious they are moving away from hardware. Maybe one more console generation and its Gamepass full steam ahead

I really enjoyed Origins,Valhalla more than any AC creed game. The world, gameplay and story was all improved over the mainline series imo. I did however enjoy Syndicate and Black Flag as a side note

Pentiment or Sea Of Thieves on Switch would be sweet.

@Baler I feel the same way, played the newest Xbox releases this year on PC but I do prefer console gaming so the Switch and X1X gets the most love. Hellblade 2 and Avowed will probably push me over the edge lol.

Just finished Bramble (hidden gem) and started first play through of Quantum Break on X1X.

I really enjoyed Halo Infinite campaign at launch (many time since) and everything points to the MP being much better now. That said of the 4 listed Halo would be my favorite followed by Ori and then Elden Ring rounding out my top 3.

2023 lineup sounded/looked strong but besides Hi-Fi Rush (great) none of the 1st party games were very good and they failed miserably with Redfall and Forza.

Well I'm sure it was just a jab, but it tells you where the AAA gaming experience is truly at. Release broken game and maybe possibly fix it in the next 2-3 years

I didn't hate it overall and enjoyed MC story. I still believe the Halo universe is more interesting than MC but it was fine.

MS is gonna move away from consoles sooner rather than later. Just facts at this point and why shouldn't they ?

Honestly don't think Japan are that interested in the lil PC twins. Sure PS5 will move a bunch of units when they get stock but then will it still be in 2nd place to Switch ? Maybe 3rd when Switch successor arrives.

Raven made Singularity, High Moon made Cybertron games plus many others so hopefully they get the budget and time to make something that they want to make.

Another new game released months too early imo. I have been down on it because of the always online and career progression but FM7 is clearly a better racer.

Besides some nice window dressing this has been a very disappointing release.

Forza MS is as much sim racing that I want. My favorite was 4 and is still the one I reach for.

Favorite arcade racer is Burnout 1,2,3 and revenge. The speed and action was masterclass

Far as multiplayer goes its Mario Kart. On the couch with friends/family is always good for laughs and the only online game I play anymore.

Already had Man who lost his name preordered but no denying the W this is for Game Pass subscribers. This will help move some consoles as well.
