Starfield. Never really expected much going in as everyone kept saying Skyrim in space and that didn't excite me at all. The showcase just tickled me in places that I was not expecting.

Avowed, Obsidian has never missed for me and Outer Worlds length in a PoE world is going to be great.

Fable, not much to say other than the Forza Engine is very powerful and hope to see Xbox studios make more use of it. Maybe Halo ?

InExile, Wasteland 3 is pure magic but just from the graphics and world from what they showed with Clockwork has me pretty hyped for their future.

VR will never be for me till somebody makes an affordable holodeck.

Not a dig at the consoles in any way but it all boils down to the laptop cpu being used in the Series and PS5 consoles. It's okay and has always been this way for console, compromises have to be made for an all in one box that cost 500.

Removing global illumination would help and maybe will be patched in the future but for me I just completed Zelda totk @30 and it was one of the best games I have ever played.

Wanna go after a company about frame rate issues ? Start with From Software.

Got Sonic Origins preordered so look forward to that and the Aliens game looks fun but sadly I just dont have the internet for it.

Having downloaded the 4k video and examined it thoroughly it is clearly in engine footage with snippets of game play running 1800p with fsr2 upscaled to 4k with global illumination and rti enabled. Frame rate comes in at around a almost locked, sometimes, possibly hitting 33&1/3 j/k

This is such a Xbox move. They had a fantastic game show and show cased some brilliant games and then they thought having one of their biggest IPs single player content tied to the internet would be a fantastic 💡.

Understand the mp but it is unforgivable to require a constant internet connection to play what is essentially the campaign .

Not hating on anything but things like this never really bother me but I'm sympathetic to those impacted. Only advice one can offer is get a PC.
These laptop apu from 2019 are not that powerful, add global illumination and physics engines running bonkers in the background and we have a bunch of upset gamers. Don't make yourself miserable or miss out on a game because the graphics or framerate is unacceptable to you.

Now a pc wont fix broken games (Lou/Redfall) but you have more control over the quality/fidelity.

@SuntannedDuck2 The psvr2 problem is for Sony to fix not on Ubi. I'm guessing some will get put on Sony headset.

With some of these improvements might give it a 2nd try. The 60fps was never a thing for me but the bugs and AI was just awful

This is a fantastic news to me, Outer Worlds was nearly perfect in size and scope for me.

If this game did run at 1080/60 the exact same arguments would be made. Most powerful console, Greenberg said 4k, 12 t-flops etc lmao.

Redfall is a 1st person shooter, no comparison to Starfield and Zelda is a very large open world running on a tablet, again no comparison.

The more Sega/Atlus the better.

The only square games i have enjoyed lately has been the hd-2d games.

Todays showing of Starfield impressed me more than anything I had seen or read before. Officially hyped for it now !

Looks fantastic and will be able to pickup for around $300 at retail very soon which for me makes it a great buy for the bedroom.

Looked amazing to me. The people complaining must have never played the originals or forgot what the characters looked like, Fable was never about photo realistic characters or worlds.

I'm gonna guess Xbox is feeling pretty good about what they got to show considering they have paid to rent out movie theatres and including $10 for each persons snacks/drinks

On a scale of 1-10 im sitting at a very mid 33.4 . If Hellblade 2, Fable and Avowed have gameplay it is a very easy A+ for me. Anything else is just a few scoops of Ice cream
