As a fan of both Bayonetta and Ninja Gaiden games, this is a marriage made in heaven for me. Really loving it!!!

I actually loved Infinite’s campaign and I don’t think enough people give it credit.

I’m more excited about Silent Hill 2 releasing on 11/21! (True Achievements posted an article earlier tonight thanks to a leak on the Xbox store)

@FrenchVaniIIuxe To play an incredible amount of games on GamePass like Ninja Gaiden 4 and Outer Worlds 2? Those are two $70 day one releases in one month and there were a bunch of other day one adds too.

If you don’t like GamePass, then go get your PS5, which also gives up its exclusives to PC and with Helldivers 2 going to Xbox, maybe even more.

Outside of Nintendo, there’s going to be fewer and fewer exclusives regardless of system.

Pretty nice line up already and they haven’t even officially announced the November games yet so there will likely be even more than what’s here.

Ninja Gaiden 4 but Outer Worlds 2 a close second. That may change as I play OW2 longer.

This really is a great game that I haven’t given enough attention too. There’s just too many games to play!!!

@Fiendish-Beaver I think they’re just using Tik Tok as an example. They want to attract NEW gamers. People that spend more time watching movies or other forms of entertainment. That’s what they are saying is that there are so many different forms of entertainment competing for views. And they’d like to tap into some of that non-gamer market. I don’t see anything wrong with that.

Might have tried it if it was accessible through BF6. Afterall, I’m sure it’s using the same maps. But, yeah, no way I’m using another 100+ GB of space for this.

Decided to bite knowing I’d want the expansions down the line. It’s fantastic so far. Combat, especially, feels so much better than the first game.

It looks absolutely gorgeous. Cannot wait!!!

@TrevorP86 @Gabrie I also think if there really were hordes of people cancelling GamePass, they may have backtracked - at least partially. The fact that nothing has happened since the initial price increase announcement makes me think the damage wasn’t as huge as people were acting like it would be.

@IOI Lmao at the Xbox haters spinning this into a bigger story than it is. Devs can borrow kits FREE of charge from Microsoft. Don’t know much more clear it can be that this story is pretty much irrelevant.

This story appears to be misleading. There’s now stories coming out because devs called it out. Microsoft loans out dev kits for free to developers just like Sony. This is only if they wanted to outright buy one which would be the same case with Sony.

Anyway, another anti-Xbox story blown out of proportion with misleading information. MS supports devs with free loans of dev kits so this has no impact on the vast majority of devs.

Great line up. Don’t miss 1000xResist. It’s fantastic (89 on OpenCritic) and glad it’s now coming to Xbox let alone GamePass. Of course, Outer Worlds 2 is the big highlight. But Bounty Star looks like a great mech game and always up for that!

All I really want to know is if it’s the lowest price ever. Last 30 days isn’t very helpful if the game was cheaper 31 days ago.

Ninja Gaiden 4 will suck up most of the oxygen for new games this week but Bounty Star sounds really good from the previews I’ve read. Totally overlooked it until I saw it’s coming to GamePass day one. That and NG4 are at the top of my list this week!

Interesting to see reviews ranging from perfect scores (even from Eurogamer no less, who is usually harder on games) to more middling. Love Double Fine though so I’m sure I’ll lean towards the former!

83 on OpenCritic is nothing to sneeze at overall either!

Got this on Switch and it is indeed excellent. But when I clicked on the link to the Windows Central and read “the hottest release of the season” in their subheading, I had to chuckle a bit. I mean it’s not like Battlefield 6 skipped Xbox.

Despite how good Battlefield 6 may be, I thought EA still had it’s badge of honor as one of the worst gaming companies in the world.

@FatGuyInLilCoat @PsBoxSwitchOwner One of the pictures was already found to be from 2023. It was likely a store that was moving stock around. So, yes, even pictures can lie. Also both Walmart and Target have said the rumors are untrue.

Both Target and Walmart here have an Xbox section that looks the same as always. One of the original stories about this used a photo from 2023 (store was probably remodeling/moving stock around).

Can’t wait for Keeper and Ball x Pit looks great (demo got overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam). Love a good break breaker with a twist.

@Tdx As with everything, I’m sure it probably has to do with cost. They might have some artificial cost threshold for Premium that would keep some in the tier and others out. That said it still is odd.

Yeah, problem is that a lot of us (myself included) turned off recurring billing because of the price hike. If they had given people currently subbed a chance to turn it back on for the old price, that would have been nice.

Expedition 33 isn’t even in the Console GoTY list. That already makes these awards null and void.

The hour limit mirrors GeForce Now’s ad supported plan. But the 5 hour overall limit needs to go.

That said the overall negativity about it here is a bit much. It’s free. Don’t like it. Don’t use it.

The GamePass team does an excellent job of curating games that seem worthy of being added on day one.

This isn’t even everything so I too would love to see Pure Xbox post a complete list.

I’m not happy about the price increase but we’ve already had plenty of months where we’ve gotten 5-6 quality day one games. There’s been some absolutely fantastic indies as well as bigger releases. So this part of the equation I don’t doubt.

The link below is a few months old but shows you all the day one 2025 releases that came or had been announced at that point. And there’s been more since then. There’s a LOT of great games there. If you think it’s mostly filler, then I feel sorry for you because you’re missing some great games.

Again, the price increase is ridiculous. But the amount of great day one games has never been a question for me.

Just give us an option without “more value”. I could care less about Fortnite and Ubisoft Classics. Sure they supposedly cost $20 combined and your increase is $10 so you can say it’s “more value”. But it’s NO VALUE for people that don’t want them.

I’d rather take a smaller increase and keep what I already had.

All that said I have GamePass on the cheap into 2027 so I’ll ride the wave for a while and see what shakes out between now and then. I DO love GamePass. Just don’t justify an increase for more features I didn’t ask for.

Good bonus for Fortnite players but, as someone who isn’t one, I would have preferred to shave a few bucks off of the Ultimate sub without it.

It’s all going to depend on the quality of the games. MS is basically committing to at least six brand new games a month. That’s a lot of new games. I’m sure most will be indies.

In any case, I’m set for a while with GP that I have stacked so I’ll enjoy it while I can and see how things shake out later down the line.

Well, I have my GamePass Ultimate stacked for a while. Committing to 75+ day one games a year is pretty ballsy. I’ll enjoy it until my sub runs out and then evaluate when the time comes.

I think they should have left things like Ubisoft Classics and Fortnite Crew off the table to minimize the increase. I don’t have much interest in either of those.

Well, still better than Sony or Nintendo where you can now earn… absolutely nothing towards their subscriptions/games.

And this is before they even have their “official” announcements. Great stuff!!!

@Ricky-Spanish You can play 10 hours of it now with GamePass. That’s what I’m doing to check it out. Not bad so far!
