All I was saying is that it would be a shame for people to miss it. Not to be using “childish name calling”. If you notice my comment was talking about the game people would miss.

Everyone is entitled to their own game choices. This one is a good one IMO.

Graphics whores will miss out on a great game if they don’t check out Case of the Golden Idol. 98% positive on Steam with 5,000+ ratings. It’s a fun and surprisingly difficult mystery puzzler.

Yeah, Blur and Project Gotham Racing are at the top of my most wanted BC games.

Case of the Golden Idol, Neon White and Tchia are all great games. Glad to see them on Xbox let alone GamePass! Cricket 24, well, can’t win them all.

This really does look promising! Fingers crossed for a good adaptation!

Also remember that we get a huge second half of July with Dungeons of Hinterberg, Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn and Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess in a three day span!

Great group of games. Neon White is phenomenal and happy it’s finally coming to Xbox. The Case of the Golden Idol and Tchia also highly regarded.

Nice that we’re getting the second All-Star Brawl and not the first.

Still Wakes the Deep was a blast but Octopath Traveler 2 was probably the best addition. Great month all around!

There’s reporting out now that this is no longer coming to GamePass. Sucks if true.

FH3 is still probably my favorite. Guess us Yanks just don’t find driving around the UK to be as exciting, lol.

Anyway, glad it sounds like I’ll get the base game as a freebie having purchased the expansion pass.

I’d like an actual comparison of the BC HD version to the new one to know if it’s really worth the upgrade.

There’s been several reports on X that this has to do with Capcom not currently having the tools to port “MT” titles to Xbox. So it makes it more expensive to port vs other consoles.

Avowed (2024, likely on the 11/12 leaked date)

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle 2024

Also have many other games confirmed for GamePass like Stalker 2, which is a timed exclusive, on 9/5.

Eight first party titles in 2024 is absolutely amazing! And those 2025 titles are going to be fantastic! Keep them coming!

Loved it but, yeah, was kind of short. Hope the next expansion is a bit meatier.

I think it will be for existing IPs and maybe new ones a year or more after Xbox release. Either way, I don’t care much. I love the Xbox ecosystem and GamePass is saving me $70 a pop on all these games plus giving me many third party day one games including Sony’s The Show. Sure I pay for GP but it’s MUCH cheaper than buying all the games I would have bought.

And I’ll save my PS5 and not likely get a PS6 based on how little incentive I would have had to upgrade this time around. Not to mention how barren their release schedule is now. I play a few exclusives on it but everything else on Xbox.

There’s an in-depth look at the game scheduled for today. I bet it was supposed to be (and will likely be) announced then.

IGN kind of blew it there without asking about whether other games like Starfield and Gears would go multiplat. I don’t really care anymore knowing I get to play everyone day one on GamePass instead of paying $70. But know others think it’s the death of Xbox (despite things like next gen and handheld hardware being in the works). So just asking the question would have been nice. IGN went the softball direction instead.

Hmm, apparently now they’ve removed the 11/12 date from their site. Ughh…

As expected, they did commit to keep long running franchises on it. No big deal. I’ll be playing it Day One on GamePass and not paying $70 for it.

Always got to be a few haters. “Quantity over quality.” I honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen a showcase jam packed with that much quality. Almost everything looked great!

Looks great, wish they dated this for 2025 at least. Seems to be further along than I thought it was.

Go look at the grades for the PlayStation State of Play (on Push Square) and Summer Game Fest. Compare them to this. Yeah, Xbox killed it with this showcase!

@Gamer_X I don’t think Pure Xbox is as bad as Push Square in that regard.

Anyway, to Push Square’s credit they change the article to say “exclusive at launch” (though the entire article still seems designed to push those console war buttons).

Love how much different the tone of the Push Square article is. The first sentence of it says the game is “now a PS5 exclusive”. Not temporary exclusive. Just exclusive. And not everyone reads entire stories so people are going to read that and take it as gospel.

I may need to get my PlayStation news elsewhere. Oh well, looking forward to this game no matter when I play it.

GamePass Ultimate members are getting a ton of benefits with this too including all agents and a 20% boost pass.

I don’t think Metaphor is an Xbox exclusive. Was announced by Xbox but is also coming to PlayStation.

Honestly didn’t think Yooka Laylee was a very good game and surprised to see a remaster coming. Not even that old. But if they do, yeah, maybe they’ll tweak things to make it better.

I enjoyed the 2D Impossible Liar much better and would rather have seen sequel to it.

@GeorgeKal At least for me, day one and on GamePass is too big of a pull for me. It’s a much better value and that works for me. Especially with all the additional third party day one games we’ve been getting. Just my preference.

I own a PS5 so it’s not like I don’t buy games there too. I just save a lot of money on the Xbox side of things and would continue that no matter what happens with PlayStation ports.

Honestly don’t care about older games or remakes going to PS5 as long as new games are exclusive or at least like a year before they go multiplat.

Getting everything on GamePass day one is still a huge win over buying everything on PlayStation as well.

Also, FWIW, I don’t think we need yet another remake of Combat Evolved. If they do it, we’re going down the path of Sony with all their Last of Us remakes, which has gotten ridiculous.

Played Tchia on PS+. It’s a nice game but never hooked me to keep going and finish it. Maybe I’ll dig into it again on GamePass.

Remember that we also got Hellblade II this month. June has been HUGE for GamePass and more likely to come on Sunday!

Gotta say that I also love that these will be on GP until January 2026. Gives plenty of time to finish and knowing the end date now is fantastic.

@Xbox_Dashboard Octopath Traveler II is $60 on PlayStation though so it’s the same everywhere currently.

The first game also was added back to GamePass. These and Hellblade 2 plus more in the same month. GamePass is killing it!

@Fenbops Weird. I played the game on Series X and didn’t experience any issues with the lip syncing.

Cannot wait for this! Alan Wake 2 was my GoTY last year. Incredible game.
