Back at the start of this month, we highlighted the reveal of Clutch — a new ambitious AAA racer from the former Forza Horizon creative director Mike Brown — and it's just received its first gameplay reveal today.

That reveal is coming from various content creators and press outlets on YouTube, so there are various sources to choose from if you want as much footage as possible (we'll throw a few handpicked videos above and below).

Just as a reminder, here's a bit of what you can expect from Clutch when it releases in Spring 2027:

CLUTCH is a cinematic open-world action-driving game where the worlds of professional and underground street racing collide across the French Riviera.

Live the double life of a modern racing outlaw in a world driven by ambition, rivalry and risk. Compete in elite sanctioned racing by day, then descend into the underground after dark where cinematic getaway missions, escalating pursuits and social chaos transform every road into a story.

At first glance, Clutch is looking really good from a visual perspective. In fact, VGC's Jordan Middler called it "one of the best-looking games I’ve ever seen", and also stated that it "instantly became one of my most anticipated games".

Is Forza Horizon 6 in trouble? Probably not - it feels like Maverick Games is going for something different here that certainly takes inspiration from the Xbox IP, but also from the likes of Need for Speed and other great racing franchises.

We'll know for sure when Spring 2027 rolls around, anyway. Stay tuned for more info on Clutch in the months to come!
