I’d love to get one but not for that price!

Problem is that Xbox has had so many awesome showcases in the last few years that they set the bar high. So outside of FH 6, this was a bit disappointing. Thought they’d be showing more of other games they’ve been working on. Guess it maybe was due to the Japanese focus. I don’t know.

But super excited for FH in Japan!!!

Was pretty disappointing TBH. No new first party game announcements. Saros just looks like Returnal with a new skin. Wolverine looked good but that’s about it for me.

I can already say there will be more Xbox Game Studio games at tomorrow’s showcase without a doubt. Could care less whether they go to PS or not, they’re are a LOT of great games coming from Microsoft and GamePass will have me set for a long time to come.

@somnambulance I think odds a pretty high that it will be.

There are just way too many good games coming out at once.

Been playing it in early access on PC and love it even more than the original.

Still think Clair Obscur is by far the GOTY though.

Nice line up considering we also got Silksong, I Am Your Beast, and Roadcraft this month! Definitely looking forward to Deep Space Galactic: Survivor, Frostpunk 2 and Visions of Mana.

Expedition 33 still far and away my GOTY.

When I heard about this I was thinking it was a sequel to I Made a Game with Zombies In It. But nope, disappointed. But found the remastered version of that game on the store for free. Brings back fun memories of those cheap but sometimes awesome Xbox 360 arcade games!

First one was pretty good but all the sequels, prequels and spinoffs seem to be just recycling the same stuff (sometimes with a layer of new paint like Tiny Tina). Ultimately they end up boring me to tears. So no, I’ll pass thank you very much.

Had no issues downloading it right from my console. And thanks GamePass!!!

Had this preordered and can’t wait to dig in!!!

A little light but great additions and, as always, this is just one half of the month.

Great game! Glad it’s on GamePass for the rest of you to enjoy. Definitely at least give it a try. It’s addicting!

Got the upgrade knowing I’d want this. Can’t wait!!!

Maybe Lumen should be disabled on PS5 too because it still runs like s*** on it even with updates.

@RentedPanda Yeah, was surprised to see that one as well and definitely will check it out.

@Kezelpaso Still think the Day One add from last week, Herdling, didn’t get much of any coverage here, particularly last week when I don’t think there was any GamePass story that included its release.

That’s sad because it’s a very well-reviewed game and deservedly so. Hope people are giving it a chance.

@Fiendish-Beaver It says they remastered textures, lighting, shadow and reflections. That’s a lot more than just settings IMO. But you do you as far as playing it.

@Fiendish-Beaver GoW Reloaded sounds like it’s a bit more than just a performance boast:

“ The iconic original now looks and plays better than ever with lightning-fast load times, 4K assets plus remastered textures, lighting, shadows and reflections, HDR and Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, as well as up to 120 FPS in multiplayer.”

The BC version already had gave it a performance boast.

@Kezelpaso Didn’t see anything here mentioning that Herdling came out today on GamePass. Another day one game that’s getting excellent reviews! 84 on OpenCritic!

Honestly this is the first month this year I felt was a little light. But Gears Reloaded will be sweet.

Honestly still catching up on last month’s insanely stacked plate (Tony Hawk 3+4, Descenders Next, Wheel World, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, Grounded 2, Abiotic Factor and My Friendly Neighborhood are all games I’ve been playing just from July. All Day One and that wasn’t even all of them!).

So a bit slower month might be good!

Got it on PS5 and it’s not bad but nothing all the special. Honestly haven’t finished it yet, lol.

Never had issues with this either. Has worked very well for me!

I need to get back to and finish Cocoon. Great game but got sidetracked with others at the time.

@FraserG Wasn’t sure if you had heard that the Hexen/Hexen X remasters shadow dropped today and are also up on GamePass.

Just grabbed Persona 3 on PS5 for $20. I knew I wasn’t going to have time to finish it on GP and it’s a great game that I wanted to own regardless. The other two I could care less about. (Though I will always think Anthem was a missed opportunity. But EA blew it.)

@Balaam_ I think they just do that to drive clicks through search engines, etc.

Hopefully they’ll bring the first two over before then.

@Fiendish-Beaver Almost every company talks in terms of revenue and never profit in these calls/recordings, even if it is profitable. Revenue makes companies look better and they’re there to impress the stock market and will frame it the best way possible. It’s just the way it is.

I’m too busy eating popcorn and reading the freakout about Sony seeming to be looking to push more multi platform titles to Xbox and Switch.

(Honestly shocked that there hasn’t been a story about it yet here but guessing they may be short staffed this weekend)

I like it but I suck at it. That’s a pretty common refrain from most of these type of games for me though.

@Scrubchub I mean I still buy games too but GP is a healthy part of my gaming diet.

I like it but the star of the show for Xbox features has definitely been quick resume. It’s totally changed my approach to gaming and, whenever I play my PS5, I miss it dearly.

@Fiendish-Beaver There are hundreds and hundreds of games coming out. I can’t even keep up with all the great games that have been coming to GamePass. (And yes, I do buy plenty of games, including Ready or Not just yesterday)

So I don’t mind about waiting two years for a game like this because I’m drowning as it is. And will be for the foreseeable future.

Could it be that the studio didn’t have enough resources to port it to all consoles at once? That sounds familiar. Probably just like No Rest for the Wicked that everyone is jumping on to say that Xbox is so over. Surely it can’t be something less sinister, right?

Also remember that this is a studio that Microsoft didn’t want to even work with because of this:

Studio is also almost bankrupt.

What is Microsoft going to say “makes sense for Xbox”? Release the game for it?

@DaveTheRave I was being sarcastic. Just saying that even Sony got rid of the digital movie selling business (except for the small Sony Core thing which only has their own studio’s movies). They clearly didn’t think it was profitable to keep around either.

@Sindayl Since PlayStation did the same thing a few years ago, I guess that ship must be sinking too.

Six more day one games. Three are already on PC and have “very positive” reviews on Steam. The other three are new to PC as well. Nice, especially considering we just got Tony Hawk 1+2 as well!

I honestly think it’s underrated. No it’s not a masterpiece but it’s far from being the joke that many make it out to be (and I suspect many of those people haven’t even touched the game).

I think it will sell well. I played it at launch on my PS5 but honestly, it eventually grew old. It’s a good game but do think it’s a tad overrated. But I still think Xbox is a better place for multiplayer games and it should be well received by the community.

@Kienda For me they’ve been killing it. I’ve loved Indiana Jones, South of Midnight, Avowed, Ninja Gaiden 2 Black (yes this was published by MS and wouldn’t have happened without them), Oblivion Remastered and even the latest COD (campaign was great for once).

And that’s not even all that MS has published in the last year!

Fine for you to not like them but to say Sony is “delivering” with one game when MS has not is utter BS.

Needs to be an option on the poll for “I already own it on PlayStation!”
