'Xbox, Now's Your Chance' - Fans Debate Whether Microsoft Should 'Take Advantage' Of Physical Games

There's definitely some disgruntlement going on in the world of PlayStation right now. As mentioned by our friends at Push Square, "many" online petitions have been created in response to Sony's decision to ditch physical disc-based games as of 2028, and it's also spurred on an interesting reaction from Xbox fans and even non-Xbox fans.

To sum it up, there's a debate - should Microsoft "take advantage" of the situation and go all-in on physical games? The argument is that Xbox could win over more people by counteracting the controversial decision at PlayStation.

That's definitely not to say everyone's in agreement though. In fact, the vast majority of people seem to be pointing out the business realities - that Xbox has massively struggled for physical sales in recent years, and that if Sony is pulling out, it probably doesn't make much sense.

The debate has obviously been taking place in the comments here at Pure Xbox over the past 24 hours as well, but we haven't polled you on it yet - so let's try and gauge how the PX community feels down below!

Drop us your vote, and feel free to elaborate in the comments about why you think Microsoft should or shouldn't take advantage of physical Xbox games in the next generation. Don't forget about the reported disc-to-digital feature that's seemingly on the way as well, which would allow you to convert your physical purchases to digital ones.
