@FraserG Speaking of GamePass, I haven’t seen any mention of Core Keeper coming out today on it. It’s getting excellent reviews and has 91% positive of 26,000+ on Steam.

Yeah, I want them to take their time with this given how many performance issue problems PS5 has. But haters are ignoring the that even the PS5 has issues. To me, it’s good that Xbox will be getting a more polished version of the game.

The developers even say fixes for PS5 may take a while because of “bottlenecks” on the console.

But sure, only Xbox machines have issues…

Full disclosure: I have the PS5 version and the graphics and balanced modes are stuttering messes and are unplayable to me. Performance is the best but it’s running a 30 FPS in the background while displaying 60 FPS. It’s playable but there are a lot of issues with missed inputs due to this. I’ve lost lives because of health gourds not trigger or sometimes triggering twice as I’m trying to get it to work. It can be incredibly frustrating. It definitely needs fixes.

Yeah, I wouldn’t call this a major addition at all at this point. It’s old and can be had super cheap.

I’m not a stickler for 60 FPS and do get what the devs are talking about with making choices visually. But as is the case with other games, can’t you drop fancy lighting or whatever CPU heavy graphical enhancement in a performance mode?

Anyway, this is still one of my most anticipated games.

Sony’s strategy has also shifted and that really has made a PC the golden ticket for everything.

Day one games on GamePass, Sony exclusives and games that will never be on console. All on PC. No need for an Xbox or PlayStation.

Can’t say it’s just Xbox that’s expanding beyond their own hardware.

Hoping we get some more “today” drops during the Xbox presentations. This month is extremely light (especially compared to last month) for GamePass.

Honestly am more upset about Towerborne going F2P than I am about this going to PS5.

This is the same guy who said Starfield was going to PS5 and then had to issue a statement that he was wrong. So, yeah, take it with a healthy dose of salt.

I think Final Fantasy 16 will be announced for Xbox with PS exclusivity ending, SE saying they want to do more multiplats and plenty of rumors swirling about it.

And, yes, Square announced the PC version but I think the Xbox announcement would be during one of the console’s own events.

Yeah, there’s got to be more to this case. There are literally thousands of devs, some with incredibly low budget junk, that are able to get through the submission process just fine. How come they are able to do it? Is there a language barrier or something else going on? It doesn’t make sense.

@Frmknst Literally nothing except Indy? Umm, Towerborne, Avowed, Shattered Space, Ara: History Untold, Flight Simulator, etc. Plenty of first party stuff in there and it does say “and more”.

That’s a bummer if true. I thought Phil said earlier that it would be a true handheld device not requiring a console.

Good games but let’s hope the second half is better…

That said I still have a ton to work through from the massive amount of games last month.

Not big on monster collecting games but this one has me intrigued. Looking forward to checking it out on Wednesday!

My feeling is that if Avowed was delayed, they are likely confident that Indy will release this year. So I’m continuing to have faith that it will.

This game is said to be practically done so for those saying Indy is going to be delayed, I think this game is being delayed BECAUSE Indy is still coming and they wanted to give it and the other releases more time to breathe.

Wargroove 2 would be excellent! Nice to even see it come to Xbox!

@MrMagic Yes, I’m sure it’s not like any of the devs could possibly have friends and family at home going through hell every day to think about. I’m sure the most important thing in the world to them is finishing this game.

Good news for people that want it. I probably won’t download it just because it’s gigantic and don’t have the space. But it’s already been an awesome month for GP so I’m quite happy.

I’m enjoying it but Dungeons of Hinterberg is the real gem of last week’s releases. Great game!

Path of the Goddess is also quite good. Impressive week of GamePass releases for me!

@Decimateh Funny that you mentioned that about Xbox store reviews because this is a prime example. Average rating for this on Xbox is 2.6. And on PlayStation it’s 4.3!

Played a few games with the EA Access trial (via GamePass) and it’s fun. Animations are a little janky and the game as a whole maybe not quite at the level of the old games but it’s a good start. Also refreshing after so many years of Madden doing next to nothing each year.

Really been looking forward to this one!

Yeah, really “depressing” and killing the Xbox brand with such horrible games. Every day a bad game…

Was hoping this would fare better. This and Hinterberg were my most anticipated of this week’s releases. Still sounds like something I might enjoy so I’ll definitely give it a shot.

Now anxious to read reviews for Hinterberg (which got great previews so fingers crossed!).

Edit: I was wrong about the deluxe edition giving early access. But going by the developer’s website, this site is correct with the 18th and Push Square is wrong.

Absolutely amazing week for GamePass! Definitely looking forward to Hinterberg, Flintlock and Path of the Goddess!! And will at least try the others as well as totally burning through those 10 hours with College Football.

People need to relax. Both look great and the August games for just the first half aren’t even announced yet! Our July was absolutely stacked. Cannot wait for all the Day One games we get next week!

@rustyduck Neon White is far from a child cartoon game. It’s an incredibly difficult speed parkour platformer with very high critical reviews (89 on OpenCritic). But your loss if you want to write it off as a “child cartoon game”.

Tchia is also well reviewed and it’s kind of funny how a big deal was made about it coming to PS Plus Extra originally.

Can’t all these PS5 Sea of Thieves players pay for our GamePass price increase? 😀

All I was saying is that it would be a shame for people to miss it. Not to be using “childish name calling”. If you notice my comment was talking about the game people would miss.

Everyone is entitled to their own game choices. This one is a good one IMO.

Graphics whores will miss out on a great game if they don’t check out Case of the Golden Idol. 98% positive on Steam with 5,000+ ratings. It’s a fun and surprisingly difficult mystery puzzler.

Yeah, Blur and Project Gotham Racing are at the top of my most wanted BC games.

Case of the Golden Idol, Neon White and Tchia are all great games. Glad to see them on Xbox let alone GamePass! Cricket 24, well, can’t win them all.

Great group of games. Neon White is phenomenal and happy it’s finally coming to Xbox. The Case of the Golden Idol and Tchia also highly regarded.

Nice that we’re getting the second All-Star Brawl and not the first.

Still Wakes the Deep was a blast but Octopath Traveler 2 was probably the best addition. Great month all around!

There’s reporting out now that this is no longer coming to GamePass. Sucks if true.

FH3 is still probably my favorite. Guess us Yanks just don’t find driving around the UK to be as exciting, lol.

Anyway, glad it sounds like I’ll get the base game as a freebie having purchased the expansion pass.

I’d like an actual comparison of the BC HD version to the new one to know if it’s really worth the upgrade.
