About 50/50 for me. I had to have MW3 physical (even got a sick steel book) but digital sales are so prolific these days.

GOTY everyone, and people say AAA gaming is doomed.

Nothing short of a disaster. While I never expected an Xbox game to take the prize (Forza is my top pick, but I realize it’s a little more niche) I at least expected something you know good.

Put it on Switch and just crush Sony.

I think that the game is quite good. Probably my favorite version of Zombies since BO2.

At least it wasn’t the Wii U!

All it took was throwing the install base under the bus and making our experience a little worse.

If the rumors are true that a switch 2 won’t even be as powerful as the PS4/XB1 then it’s not looking good for ol’ Nindtendy as more and more devs stop working on the less powerful hardware.

Had mine for about a year now, as a new player I’ve had no end of fantastic content for just the cost of the monthly sub. Shout out to the modern warfare series for being that killer app.

Xbox becoming the MMO console is actually kind of a cool tonight.

I think MS is doing a good job moving people away from thinking about success in terms of purely “sold copies” Netflix (before they lost like half their market share) killed juggernauts without “selling” a single dvd.

Just saw the updated report, and like what always happens Best Buy may have walked it back but that just means it’ll happen later than planned.

Nice, I do hope we get some older Black Ops titles on Gamepass soon. BO2 is one of my personal favorites.

One of these days I’m d love to see the subtext say something like “Including some just completely awful titles” or “Thankfully nothing of value is being lost”

This is a terrible idea for one reason, you can’t just copy Sony’s homework if you want to stand out.

So far the PC version has 27 critic reviews with an average score of 90 (metacritic).

It took until the 11th hour, but it looks like MS is finally redeeming themselves this year!

I love it when these types of games don’t force to heal after every. Single. Battle.

Being able to give every fight 100% makes grinding so much more enjoyable!

While I bought it more for game pass as a service Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 2 is what got me interested.

The only console I ever bought for a specific title was my 3Ds for Pokémon X

Citizen Sleeper 1 was ruddy brilliant, can’t wait for more.

A world without Sonic 06 isn’t a world worth living in.

Ownership is not something I’ll trade for convenience, and the fact it’s the worst way to play games means you literally get nothing.

Gosh no, games are way to big to ever consider going digital only.

This highlights why the service is so poorly received. These are both games that are mediocre-good (certainly nothing amazing) and several years old. So most people who would enjoy these relatively niche games already played them in 2020

Last November I picked up a Series X because I saw all the positive coverage for MW2 (2).

Booting that game up having not played a Call of Duty title since Black Ops 2 was jaw dropping. I also had an absolutely great time playing Citizen Sleeper as my first GamePass download on it.

I’m not sure where else to ask this but with Telltale back in action have they said anything about whether or not they plan to finish their old projects (Batman and Minecraft specifically would be nice) or whether Minecraft Story Mode Chapter 2 will see a rerelease?

No but unlike most users, it has to do with how recent I became an enjoyer of the Xbox

Black Ops 2 is one of the greatest games ever made…IMO.

So that’s it? CoD is now MS’s and will finally return to Nintendo consoles?

Lego 2k drive was good fun. I’m really looking forward to punch club 2 as well.

Breaking MS looks to purchase every video game studio except for Tiny Build!

After releasing one of the worst rated games on the console, I think MS dodged a bullet.

Did they ever fix the base game?

I still don’t understand why this exists and has multiple iterations.

Is this not cannibalizing the “main” game’s player base?
