It’s crazy that the Xbox One generation of consoles has been going since 2013, that mid gen refresh in 2020 was cool but it’ll be nice to finally begin the 9th console generation.

More people playing MW3 (original), BO2 and BO3 will be amazing.

I do hope BO6 lives up to the name.

After seeing that the current Xbox president has 0 qualifications, all these nonsensical and random decisions finally make sense.

I know GS has their problems, but my local stores have actually begun to carry DS, Wii, Wii U, 360, and PS3 games again. In much lower volume but it is cool to see it.

MS is not in a position to play it safe.

Xbox is quickly becoming the console of no exclusives and few 3rd party games. Most powerful gaming console means nothing when all you have are buggy Bethesda games and random indies.

It’s impressively bad.

Just add a “random” tier where every day the cost and benefits change.

MS specifically claimed that they wouldn't increase prices because of the merger, of course we’re calling them out.

As many have said already. MS never started their 9th generation and have been doing Xbox One nonsense for 11 years.

They shouldn’t release a new console until they make a good library for the current one.

It’s disappointing to see MS not try to take advantage of a drier year but with all of their games failing (except Forza Motorsport) last year they just don’t have any gas left.

I really enjoy my Console, I’ve been negative about it recently because I could have saved over $300 dollars and gotten a used Xbox One and had the exact same experience. At least I know I’ll be well taken care of into the next generation assuming they eventually drop Xbox One, and I won’t have to upgrade.

Maybe they are saving major releases to try and take the Switch 2 head on?

Why make good games when you can make worse ways to play them. I hope that Amazon cloud money was worth it.

They haven’t put out anything even remotely playable for almost 2 years and they think they deserve more?

IMO MS should just commit and either start or hire a small Japanese team and make a new series or 2 in the JRPG genre.

Take a risk and make it memorable but don’t drop it if the first game underperforms. Nintendo managed to carve out a niche in the FPS genre somehow and Sony managed to sink FF.

I don’t know what flintlock is but that screenshot is hideous.

Best: Being able to try full AAA games for a fraction of the price and indie games that I might not have liked without the risk. I think GO is a good thing.

Worst: Starfield. 2023 was a bad year for MS fans, and Starfield a horrendous impression to leave on otherwise newcomers.

I think when you have more consoles than exclusives you have a massive problem as a platform.

Imagine having players tell you for 14 years what you want, only to make the exact opposite and being surprised nobody liked it.

Vanguard and Duelist. Looks like CFVG and YGO players can settle their beef lol.

They clearly don’t care about lost sales seeing as how they now port games to their competitors.

It’s common knowledge that awards are more important than happy customers.

Because this generation ended before it began, it’s going to be tough to sell people in an even more powerful machine when this one is so underutilized.

Exactly, both the Virtual Boy and Wii U had more exclusives.

Xbox no longer has exclusives and all of Sony’s games are from Xbox. I’d like to formally congratulate Nintendo for winning the console war.

It brings shame to the franchise and has turned away plenty of new fans.

It’s be nice to get some kind of free trial to gauge how good it is. I just don’t want to buy the game if it’s only going to last a year or 2.

How many millions did they spend to change nothing about the original then expect you to buy it over playing said original on Gamepass?
