Want to try Payday 3 early before it launches on Xbox Game Pass? You can do just that as part of the free Payday 3 Beta for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, which is taking place from August 2nd to August 7th.
Here are the instructions you'll need in order to sign up:
How To Sign Up For The Payday 3 Beta On Xbox
- Sign-in on your Xbox console and launch the Xbox Insider Hub app (or install the Xbox Insider Hub from the Store first if necessary).
- Navigate to Previews > Payday 3 - Beta
- Select Join.
- Wait for the registration to complete to secure your spot for the Closed Beta!
Specifically, the beta begins at 10am CEST on August 2nd and lasts until 10am CEST on August 7th, and you'll be able to access it by returning to the Xbox Insider Hub next Wednesday and hitting "Show in Store" to find the install button.
If you aren't quick enough to sign up, don't worry - more space will be opened up throughout the beta!
Here's a note from Xbox on what to expect from the playtest:
"PAYDAY 3 is still under development and this beta is a part of the development process. Due to this, your experience might be affected. Please remember that this beta does not represent the final game. The game can be unstable at times, or even crash, due to us testing our infrastructure’s capabilities. You might also experience slow matchmaking times or disconnects. As this only represents a part of the game, your progression will not be saved and transferred to the released product."
The full version of Payday 3 will be available day one on Xbox Game Pass when it arrives on September 21st, and it seems to be shaping up well so far! Let's hope next week's beta can live up to the hype...
