None of these comments make me feel confident really. I remember the TNA game. 20 or so wrestlers and so so limited. It obviously didn’t play brilliant either. Even if this plays brilliant if it doesn’t have replayability and certain features it will be disappointing. With the roster AEW has and the legends it now has feature regularly the roster itself should be amazing.

It sounds more like they are aiming for a NO mercy tech demo for the first game.

Some of us who own all the consoles know this is a non story and the Xbox system has its own drawbacks.

@Medic_Alert I play a lot of driving and sports games and with storage as a premium I’d rather have the option to have more games installed than less. You are kidding yourself if you think the leap for PS4 pro to ps5 for many games is massive. Same with xb1x and XSX and I’d wager on some blind tests not knowing which was which you’d struggle to tell them apart

I think it’s far better to have the choice of versions. With space being a premium having last gen versions for some games on external drive is brilliant. Much better than being forced to have a version and the physical disks have issues offline. I own a ps5 and XSX and have had zero issues with ps5 system. It’s a few mins and a few clicks to Copy save data and chose ps5/ps4 version and you get the power to decide. Lots of people amused by this seem to be Xbox only people that haven’t used both systems and are just reading people on stupid street having issues relishing the fake console wars. Honestly you picked Xbox only well done. Don’t hate on another plastic box.

It’s still better than most new FPS.

I have a ps2 slim with a screen and it’s a cracking idea. I can’t justify a SS on top of my SX. It looks great though.

Didn’t like it then and don’t like it now but I’m not blindly loyal to one bit of plastic and cables over another bit of plastic and cables. I just want good cinematic first player games, deep sports games and fun racers with a smattering of platformers and collectathons and competition - less 3rd parties games is bad for all of us. Nothing was stopping MS releasing more games and more IPs. They don’t need to keep buying companies.

It looks exactly like a cut and paste of FUT. The fact they’ve recreated the exact same goal over and over makes me think you find a way to score and repeat over and over like old football games.

Honestly all the media types seem to be hyping this game up and I’m not seeing what they are.

A Free to play, FUT clone with no solo player stuff and MT galore….

If a FTP game of one of the biggest franchises in gaming history doesn’t draw those numbers you’d worry. As others have said… the real story is the fall off in numbers. Unfortunately

As I said before these takeovers result in less games. Some may claim in the case of COD that’s a good thing. I think over the two large companies and Xbox’s own IPs it’s a stretch to spin in positively.

Don’t do it. I’ve been a customer in the past and for quite a while. It’s not a good experience. They are the worst kind of company. Lazy and think they are rockstars.

All he means is existing games will be supported for the life cycle.

They were clear before - Xbox studios do not make games for the other console platforms.

MS has so many of its own dormant IPs - let alone now all the bethesda ones we have heard nothing about or no sign of since they bought them, i honestly dont see how this is a good thing... more old games for gamepass.. but i own all the activision games I want so - all this means is less games going forward

Xbox are building a monopoly buying up third party companies and then they will charge silly money for GPU. They arent doing this as charity work. They think they can make money on this.

For those of us at own all three major consoles and sub to services of all three... this is bad news.

Yes short term we get more games on GPU but long term its only going to result in less games. Anyone who thinks Xbox plan on releasing Activsion and Bethesda games at the same rate as if independent - they are out of their mind.

@Fiendish-Beaver a message on your Xbox seems sensible to me or when you enter you share your billing address and they send prize out. All this claiming prize stuff is to hope people don’t claim.

Surely there is a better way to deal with prizes and prize draws and the buzz that would follow… if month on month normal people were online showing off their prizes more and more would be entering and drawn to the brand survey! Making the claiming harder and having so few prize winners actually showing up is a bad look

@NostromoXP many devs especially solo ones wouldn’t even be in a place to upload anything to test in first year……. Ridiculous to have a time limit on it. Your first few ideas could easily fail or not turn out how you want. Before you want to test on an actual Xbox.

For the record - indie devs can take years and years to get a game onto the marketplace. Why would MS ever think just over a year from when Series s/x was available that Indie devs should have published at least one game….

Even so clearly it’s not a mistake. They thought this was a good idea. People that aren’t MS gatekeepers - pointed out the flaws with deleting accounts in this way - and they had to reverse the decision.

Ubi games drop in price hard and gold versions often for under £20 12 months later…. Much better to just wait for their games when complete versions are cheap. Physical and digital versions get heavy discount.

I still have my n64 plugged in and it’s complete nonsense to say this hasn’t aged well. Most FPS still don’t touch it. Great game and it’s still fun to play.

Presumably coming to gamepass too. Which would be superb. Will give it a play through for the 11,999 time and then 12,000 on the switch.
