One of the finest collections in my library and I simply love the games in the collection.

However it was a mess for far too long. It really set the stage for all of Microsoft's first party releases for the last decade. Unfinished and half baked at launch. I hope to see improvement with the release of the new Indiana Jones game and hopefully the new Perfect Dark.

The whole gen is wasted potential on both platforms.

So it's 1440p after upscaling and 60fps that mostly does the job in the performance modes.

I have my eye on Eternal Strands.

I've heard rumors it's running at 60fps, but do we have any confirmation? I am actually excited for it.

Halo 5 was the weakest one, but I still enjoyed it. Honestly I loved Halo Infinite. To me it felt like I was playing Halo again for the first time and I had so much fun with it. I can't for the life of me figure out why people don't like it.

Also, Halo 4 was pretty great. Excellent visuals, excellent gameplay, and I thought the prometheans were really cool enemies. Different from the Bungie Halos for sure, but I honestly felt like they nailed it and it's such a superb game.

I recognize I'm in the minority here, but I don't understand the issues people had with 4/Infinite. I get 5 was weak in comparison, but man Infinite was so good to me.

I hope they can figure out how to make it actually run at 60fps.

Edit: I say that because it sure seems like UE5 can’t do decent frame rates.

I am very interested in Metaphor. I haven't played any of the Persona games, but I figure this might be a good place to jump in. The fantasy setting resonates with me and I like the art style.

Sea of Stars was so good and if there is anything I want, it's more like it. I saw this yesterday and immediately put it on my wishlist. I can't wait for it to launch and I hope it turns out as good as it looks!

Honestly, that was pretty cool stuff. Not all of it was for me, but that Threads of Time game really caught my eye!

Wish they'd integrate the store into the app. I'm glad they are integrated the gamepass features, though.

I'm pretty interested in this game, so I may try the demo out.

I’m excited for Wargroove 2, but it sure seems odd that it’s the only game for console.

I saw an opinion somewhere that said they think there was a staff of people who manage outreach to smaller developers and the big wigs probably came in and laid off half of the staff, thus we are seeing things like this happen. Sounds pretty reasonable to me that a greedy corpo would do something like that and this would be the result, so I think that is pretty close to true.

Does anyone else notice how this sort of drama doesn't happen on other platforms? It's almost like the first part developers for those platforms get what their customers want.

I had been waiting on a console release for this one since I learned about it back in (I think it was) 2014. Fun news!

Sony launches their games with options, fidelity or performance.

For me? The high point was Hi Fi Rush and then GoldenEye.

Hi Fi Rush was original, fun, and had a beautiful art style. Then GoldenEye took me back to the N64 days. That two month period made me feel like I was back in the early 2000s. Good times.

Love me some DF. Excited for this one.

This is great news! Hopefully it’s the start of seeing more of the HD2D games on Xbox. Triangle Strategy, Tactics Ogre, Octopath 2, & Live A Live need to hit Xbox.

I’ve always had PlayStation and Xbox. My dad brought home an OG Xbox and we played a ton of Halo and Morrowind on it. Then I won a 360 in a raffle. 360 had all the good games plus some awesome exclusives, so I played that all the time. I got a PS4 for the exclusives there and then an XB1 shortly after because I wanted Titanfall. I was excited for current gen and got both consoles. For my money, Halo Infinite was amazing, but it seems no one else thought that.

I don’t get why this weird stuff keeps coming out.

Can’t go one day without lousy drama at Xbox.

The only consistent news with Xbox is never about games. Only business drama.

I hate executives. They aren’t good for anything.

That game was so good and everyone needs to play it. I had it on PS5, but if you didn't get a chance I really recommend it. The bosses feel like a fun challenge and that was my favorite part of it all.

This just reeks of some corpo idea to pay developers less.

Disappointed in current gen consoles. Corpos pushing games out before they are ready and without any option for higher frame rates is frustrating. 60fps is what felt next gen to me, I can’t see much change with ray tracing. I mean, we didn’t even really start to get current gen only games until the last several months either. Lame. Its all just lame.

Lame. I'm sorry, but Xbox has been disappointing on a lot of levels this gen.

CDPR has some awesome games and the turn around they did with Cyberpunk is notable and I thoroughly enjoyed the game after it got it's updates.

Having said that, I think maybe they should back up the things they like to say with releasing a game on launch day that isn't a mess. Talk is cheap and it's fun to earn brownie points when it isn't your game in the crosshairs.

Playing DD2 on Series X and it's so much fun. It's very much an old school RPG in a lot of ways, but it really is a lot of fun.

I just want 60fps.

A lame and sleezy move to be sure. However, I have the capacity to not buy things that are unnecessary. I can keep my credit card in my wallet easily enough.
