Talking Point: Do You Think GTA 6 Will Actually Launch On Xbox A Year Today?

Earlier this month, we got the somewhat inevitable news that GTA 6 has been delayed again. Yep, Rockstar Games has given us another date for its upcoming open-world epic, with November 19, 2026, now circled on the calendar. The question is, do we actually think it'll launch on that day - exactly a year on from today?

Rockstar's reasoning behind this latest delay is to "finish the game with the level of polish you have come to expect and deserve", however, the situation is looking a little more complicated than that. Several employees were recently let go from the developer, and it seems as though there may be some trouble going on behind the scenes over there. Our friends at Push Square covered this recently, if you'd like a further read:

Now, will these events ultimately push the game back again? Maybe, maybe not - but a release date never really feels set in stone until much closer to the day itself with Rockstar these days. GTA 6 is an absolutely mammoth project, potentially on a scale we've never seen before, so there's always scope for another delay if the team needs it.

Here at the PX offices, we're largely in agreement that GTA 6 will hit this date, pending any more internal drama going on at the studio. Rockstar's official quote on the delay sounds like we're just talking polish here; the game has likely been finished for some time and is just being given multiple passes to make sure it's as close to perfect as possible. In that regard, we must be getting close, surely!

So, do you actually think GTA 6 is coming a year today, then? Give us a pick in the poll down below and discuss it further in the comments underneath.
