Im just happy more people get to play the game. I hope its a good game and if it is, I hope it performs well regardless of platform

And its a roguelite.....ofc it is a roguelite. If it weren't a roguelite it would be an excraction game or a battle royale.... Oh well hopefully its good and makes those interested in it happy. It's a pass for me.

Comparing a Racing open world to an RPG open world is stupid imo. I expect way more depth from an RPG wordl than a racing game. In a Racing game I expect a mix between flowy passages and technical passages. Driving through a village is differently than riding through and talking to it citizens. Its simply just too different a genre

Well thats one way of screwing up. I thought the hole event went over too smoothly. The indistry just has to pour salt into any tiny wound they can find. Oh well, I'll wait for sale and work on my backlog. Simple as that.

I got to the boss fight after meeting mama (I think) and stopped playing there. I had no weapon since the game made it very clear that combat was a no go. So yea it was really fun running around and getting jumped by this boss creature....(it wasn't). Pair that with the sluggish character feel and yeah I just couldn't bear with it any longer. I'm now firmly in the camp that kojimas games just arent for me as I've also never finished phantom pain.

The only one that comes to my mind is doom dark ages. Though I got that one on pc. I really dont pay too much attention who the publisher is....

Rewards program is still not available where I live and I doubt it will ever make its way over here.

I tried the campaign but it was so convoluted and disjointed that I never finished it. I also have very little memory of what I played. I remember grappling up a tower structure but that's about it....

Recently started a playthrough again and man it held up great. The characters are a real highlight and I can't wait to continue with rdr2 afterwards

I expected nothing amd microsoft did not not disappoint in that regard. They still dont know what to do with the brand and it shows. They can talk all day hownthey arent abandoning the brand and that the next console.will be the best thing ever. But their behaviour screams, we dont care.

I expect that they completely ignore it. So yeah not expecting anything.

There were so many bugs at launch and in the first year, that I got softlocked several times and gave up. Maybe with the new engine update I'll try again. But my experience was very disappointing.

Ok my 2 cents..... Both parties are wrong imo. Eurogamer is being petty and devaluing the work as whole is a bit too far HOWEVER, AI voices put voice actors out of their jobs and we know how much voice actors have been screwed in recent times. Also AI voices sound terrible in most cases and therefore hamper the emotional depth a game could achieve. I dont plan on playing arc raiders due to the nature of the game itself. So not sure how emotiondeep this game is and how important it's story is to the gameplay. I do like however that eurogame pointed the AI voices out though. But a note would've sufficed so people can judge for themselves.

Gimme hit and run remaster (or expanded remake) and then a sequel.

@TrollOfWar for me its more that I hate being grieved. Like lets say you wanna extract and then get backstabbed. I know it's part of thebgame and part of the appeal. But I don't like that part specifically. This type of interaction, the social part of it I guess. Though I'm glad that people are enjoying it and it seems to be a very smooth launch.

If only it where PVE only. I just cannot do extractions shooters with pvp. Had way to many negative experiences in the divisions darkzones. So I won't be experiencing this game.

The more people get to play it on whatever system they want the better. As long as the game is finished and not a buggy mess. I find console exclusivity to be archaic these days as the consoles are so close together in power and architecture. Plus so many exclusives come to pc sooner or later soooo...just take the jump and release games on all stores.

Can we stop with remakes of remasters? There's so many more stories you could tell from the Halo universe.....Give us a story from the covenant perspective for example similar to the arbiter parts in Halo 2

Starfield was overhyped imo. I played a bit on gamepass when I still had it. It got bring very quickly and I stopped playing after 7 main missions or so.

Ps5 (base) and series x and switch 2 are the last generation of consoles I've bought. From this point on I'll be focusing on PC and upgrading that as necessary. The few exclusives here and there aren't enough to keep me in the console space.

Pet peeve but its a third person shooter not a first person shooter.....

Usuall such roomers are hard to believe. But the way things are going the weird communication from xbox and then doing the opposite of what they are saying..... yeah.

Jokes aside. The damage is probably already done and many will have canceled due to the initial news. I certainly have has ultimate is now too expansive with too many perks I dont need. The other tiers dont have day 1 games so they are useless for me. Also I no longer play multiplayer on console so that aspect is also gone.

The thing about microsoft/xbox is that they have said A so many times just to do B. With the restructuring of gamepass (removing perks from 2 tiers!) The cancelations and closures. All the empty promises made.... it just screams dont trust us. The messaging from team green has been unreliable and confusing. How am I as a consumer then supposed to make a decision if you keep changing the rules last second? So this rumour isn't surprising at all. Infact this "announcement" is meaningless to me because who knows if they still feel like that next weekr or if they cancel that contract. I dislike it when either of the big 3 are ontop tmdue to their behaviors when they are. Competition is needed and it feels like microst has either given up or simply doesn't know what to do with xbox

A yes the AAAA experience Skull and Bones is indeed a classic. I remember playing that one way back on the Amiga.
All jokes aside. There are some really good games in there for sure, BUT i already have bought all those games that interested me. So the service is pretty much useless for me and therefore doesn't justify the price hike. Also many of these games can be bought for peanuts.

So is this the fault of the devs or microsoft? Cause it says in the article that the devs have to implement the fix and yet in the QnA section it says Microsoft has to validate the update. So my question is, have the devs not implemented the fix or has microsoft issues with validation?
Cuz if this is on microsoft then my god. Has team green eaten a years worth of laxatives?

@BAMozzy If I didn't have as much fun in the beta as I did then I wouldn't be looking at BF6. But this is now gonna be my last EA hurray in a sense. Might aswell enjoy it for as long as I can. A sort of brain off have fun with friends kinda game.

@kuu_nousee Yeah that is a huge red flag. But then again the game itself is finished so the buy out shouldn't do too much. Plus it's probably gonna be my goodbye EA/Dice game.

If xbox were a person, they would bungiejump and forget the rope. Or basejump and forget the parachute. Its fascinating really how quick they took the small goodwill they build up and are now destroying that. I'm impressed, like whats next? You need a cloud subscription in order to use the console? You put a disc in and if you arent subscribed go gamepass it just doesnt read the disc? Backwards compatibility now tied to a subscription service? Exciting times.....

Oh look even more reasons to cancel. Only reason to keep atleast one tier is due to online requirements. Like if you play alot of multiplayer games then you need it. Otherwise they made sure to gut the service completely. Well done microsoft.

My series x has become a x360 machine. Lime seriously so many games I looked forwadd to got cancelled. I dont play much online on xbox and with this price hike its just the end of gamepass for me. .ost xbox games launch on pc aswell so I'll just get them there. So the inly thing left on series x are stuff like the skate series (great games) blue dragon and other 360 classics. Since upgrading my pc, console gaming has taken a backseat. So yeah. Many factors are at play here. As for the we listening quote: Listening is one part, acting on it is the other. I dont see Microsoft changing this decision. They are hellbent on turning xbox into a publisher and this tone deaf decision is yet another part of that.

My subscription lapsed and will not be renewed.

In switzerland we never had the rewards programme so I always had to pay the full price of gamepass without loopholes. Now they just increased that price to unpayable. Yeah sure you give me more choice, but I still have to pay the full increased price. I still have to pay rent, insurance, general living cost like food and whatnot. I just cannot justify paying for a service that MIGHT give me a game I want which I then have to rush to completion because you never know when they leave the service......My subscription lapsed a while ago and I notice no downsight since I stopped playing multiplayer on console.

Man, the start of the sereis x era was slow and then slowly it picked up. I thought after the xbox one disaster Xbox would be hungry to bite back. Oh boy did they bite back. They bit back so hard they bit off their tongue and are now choking on it..... I'm wodnering just how bad things are gonna go now. Gamepass at 50 bucks in 2 years time? Hell yeah baby... I'm gonna be focusing on pc and upgrading my pc when and if it becomes necessary. Shame really, after it looked great for a moment. Getting priced out of a hobby is what hurts the most......

So I caved and got the premium edition. Got past the demo part and into the first village.....Holy moly the atmosphere is something else. The way the aftermath of war is portrayed is incredible. There were a few moments just in the first village were I went wow, this is, holy sh... If it keeps this up It's gonna end up as a truly special experience. Though it's definitely not for everyone

@Odium yeah I finished the demo and liked it. But on the other hand there were demos that I loved while disliking the endproduct. (Either due too bugs or the way to short length etc)

Man if UE 5 really is to become the industry standard, then they MUST make optimization easier and mandatory. Iveheard epic is working on making it more intuitive in terms of optimization but still. UE 5 is such a coin flip.
