Re: Rumour: Fable Has Apparently Been Delayed Internally, But May Still Launch In 2026

Just release GTA 6 already so the rest of the industry can release their games. I'm so tired of this lets avoid gta mindset. Because then all the other games release at the same time. So first no games then all the games at once. All because of stupid gta. They dont treat cod or any other big franchise this way but oooohhhh gta gets the extra special treatment. -.-

Re: Former Xbox Exec Says Project Helix Is 'Very Similar' To Microsoft's Plan For The OG Xbox

Simu001

Depends on the price tbh. If they go the rumored ps6 route with the price being 1000 usd and upwards, I'll skip it. If I remember correctly the series x cost around 800 on launch where I live. Had I known how dismal its output wiuld be I would've waited. The drive to get a new consolo day one is diminishing with each gen. It's clear that microsoft is truing to buy back goodwill because how much they screwed up this gen. But what they need is clear direction and while they are certainly talking the talk, I'm not so sure about them walking it.

Re: Xbox's State Of Decay 3 Finally Returns, Signups Now Live For Alpha Playtests

@Markatron84 It's a double-edged sword. On one hand if the Studio has been burning money ehy keep it. On the other closures always suck (see bluepoint closure). Projects should get a chance to be finished but obviously not all projects are worth keeping. State of decay never did it for me but it is clear that it has its fans and microsoft seems to think it is indeed worth it

Re: Microsoft's 'This Is An Xbox' Post Taken Down As Fans Wonder If The Controversial Ad Is No More

Simu001

I bet microsoft asked their AI if it was a good Idea to communicate this plan so early. Seriously its like announcing that you'll release a new console in 2040. Xbox's messaging and by extension microsoft is so sloppy and dare I say "vibe" based that it is really difficult to differentiate between what if scenarios they wanna share as a fun fact, or if it is an actual plan.

Re: Roundup: Here's What The First Reviews / Impressions Say About The Marathon Server Slam

Simu001

@fatpunkslim Zero atmosphere? I cannot agree with that statement. Just going into a building and then hearing the footsteps of an uesc robot walking above is so well done. The sound and look of the rain is fantastic too. The sound design is absolutely incredible. Every sound is clear and you can tell where it comes from. So many games struggle with that. As for gameplay being slow. Does every game have to be wafframe levels of speed? Look at what some vandal players can do. It will take time for people to figure out what movement tech is possible. People just wamt instant gratification and have the game mastered and min maxed the moment it comes out. God forbid you have to read the tutorial, learn the map layout or learn how the shells work and how to use them. To each their own, but as someone who dropped helldivers 2 after a couple of rounds I find myself liking marathon way more. I can however understand the criticism towards the visual style. I just find it interesting how different the perspectives are.

@ArCadeBot I cannot stand extraction shooters. Yet I find myself playing the server slam amd enjoying it far more than I anticipated. The fast ttk means that I have a chance of getting some kills while also getting killed fast. However so far pvp encounters have been kinda rare for me (I do solo runs so...) which means that when I encoumter another player its always a tiny event. The uesc bots can hit really hard depending on what type it is. But the game.for.me has been mostly a calm down and chill type of game. One where you can just jump in for a few co teacts or a couple of runs. Gonna play as much as I can (sadly I have work over the weekend ) but I can kinda see this becoming my sort of comfort game.... I also love how the fscrions are introduced the glitchy style is really doing it for me. The visuals are also really nice though I can understand why some don't like it. Sound designs is where this game truly shines imo.

Re: 'Relooted' Is Available Today With Xbox Game Pass, And Some Early Reviews Are Now Live

Simu001

I find the premise actually interesting, especially when you look at how some of these artifacts of human hsitory have been lets say "procured". I think gaming can absolutely make political statements just like movies and music. The question for me is, how will it be done tonewise and how will the gameplay be. Though atm I'm working on my backlog so I dont see myself jumping in early

Re: Microsoft Apparently 'Expects' The Xbox Series Era To Last, Despite Next-Gen Plans

Simu001

I mean thanks to the ram cost skyrocketing and all the focus an AI, no way O would be able to afford it. I'm glad I updated my PC when I did. I'm in the lower middleclass earnignswise and honestly gamig is becoming too expensive. Not exactly suprising when games cost a fortune to make for experiences that are middling at best and with the economics being the way they are. I always wait for sales, unless I really really really want a game

Re: Nioh 3 Could Mark The Series' Xbox Debut As Sony Confirms 6-Month PS5 Exclusivity

Played the demo. Got stuck for a while on the first boss. It eas so hard to tell when I got damaged. There's barely any feedback on getting hit. So I payed attention to the boss and suddenly im dead because the attack I thought I had blocked wasnt actually blocked. It just feels off for me. Then again I didn't like the first 2 games so yeah. Controls themselves feel good atleast and the design of the world is fantastic

Re: Xbox Partners With Kojima To Fix Major Save Bug In Death Stranding Director's Cut

Simu001

I got to the boss fight after meeting mama (I think) and stopped playing there. I had no weapon since the game made it very clear that combat was a no go. So yea it was really fun running around and getting jumped by this boss creature....(it wasn't). Pair that with the sluggish character feel and yeah I just couldn't bear with it any longer. I'm now firmly in the camp that kojimas games just arent for me as I've also never finished phantom pain.

Re: Epic Games CEO Comments On ARC Raiders And Its Use Of AI Voice Generation

Simu001

Ok my 2 cents..... Both parties are wrong imo. Eurogamer is being petty and devaluing the work as whole is a bit too far HOWEVER, AI voices put voice actors out of their jobs and we know how much voice actors have been screwed in recent times. Also AI voices sound terrible in most cases and therefore hamper the emotional depth a game could achieve. I dont plan on playing arc raiders due to the nature of the game itself. So not sure how emotiondeep this game is and how important it's story is to the gameplay. I do like however that eurogame pointed the AI voices out though. But a note would've sufficed so people can judge for themselves.
