What I hate about wow forever is that the new race the skybornes are paid content. They should come with the base subscription. But hey nickel and diming us is the way the gaming industry operates so I shouldnt be surprised.....

I've put Black Flag remake on the backburner and am gonna be playing Onimusha (just reached the part from the demo) and Blood of Dawnwalker (played through the wood sequence at the beginning.) I gotta say the facial animations in Onimusha are amazing.

@Corvanok I think people like the Idea and the potential of the project more than what little we saw of it. But the game.i. their minds will for sure be different than the final product (if it ever happens) and then well get the usual game sucks conclusion

They (xbox) first have to make a poll on X so that social media can tell them what to do.
Atleast it feels like current xbox is run by social media posts that gain tons of traction.

I can live with the combat not being the most innovative bestest thing in the industry. Witcher 3 has also not the bestest most greatest combat ever imo. Im in this for the world and the story aswell as the day night mechanic. So it seems its gonna be a good fit for me. Though I'll wait for the obligatory first patches to go through.

This and dawnwalker are the two rpgs I cant wait to play. They both look great. Fable seems to be keeping the tone from the previous entries and thats where the charm lies. Let's just hope they aren't broken at launch.

When I palyed it last I fell through the map on numerous occasions. If something as basic as navigating the gameworld is broken then yeah, good luck.

Wow I dont know if its the compression but what about the stalker one makes it "dynamic?" It looks like a still picture... actually most of xboxes dynamic backgrounds are barely that. Thy could do sooo much more with they already have some really good ones in there.

I was looking foward to hearing more from this game. Then came the news of its cancelation. Looks like I got my monkeypaw wish.... well atleast xbox is taking steps to recover. But still all the cancelations and closure in a short time have left a sour aftertaste.

In other opinions of mine that you probably dont care about, campaign evolved is alot of fun. I hope they do 2 and 3 aswell.

Started and finishes 2 and 4. Started 5 but never finished it. Never played judgement. Started the gears 1 anniversary version but stopped at the car mission where you had to aim thenlights around. Never tried 3. Nor sure about E day. I liked gears 2 but for me the series wasn't that amazing.

Ill be claiming avatar since on sereis X theres a flickering issue on the grass in the second map for me. Usually this wouldn't bother me but it is pretty severe in this case as the grass shadows flicker harder than any rave.

Edit: I just checked and Avatar isnt shown as free even though I own it on series x. Looks like I have to wait until sometime in August

Edit 2: None of my xbox ubi games that are on this list are free on ubisoft connect, I still have to buy them. Is this yet another North America only thing? Cant redeem valhalla, far cry 6, nor riders republic nor avatar. I own these on series x yet on ubisoft connect they dont show up in the library and in the store they still want me to pay for them. Accounts are linkes so no idea what is going on. Why is it so hard for simple stuff like this? Though it is ubisoft so not surprised

I wish I could emjoy this game but I cannot. Theres a quest where you first meet the general. In my game hes always invisible so yeah. Tried reinstalling and everything. So I've come to the conclusion that the game simply doesn't want me to play it. A wish I reluctantly accept and fulfill

Im mostly playing on PC so haven't noticed any Issues obviously. But hopefully izs getting fixed soon for everyone who has issues.

Xbox should rename themselves to vaguebox. They couldn't communicate things more complicated if they tried. It reads liem the results of a failed AI prompt to me. So now we have confused Microsoft and silent sony. This generation has started okayish and has now devolved into: "I'm tired boss". Just my meaningless 2 cents. Im glad I'm not an exec of either company.

It's not my job as a consumer to tell a company how its needs to run. If I like the product and have disposable income I'll buy it. If not then not. Simple as that.

So that means that playgound will lose 80% of its team and be relegated to support duty. Am I understanding this whole thing right?

On a more serious note, FH6 is tons of fun and a very enjoyable experience and that's what matters most

It sucks but the writing has been on the walls for a while now. Look at pc where digital is the norm. Difference is theres more than one storefront and you dont have to pay extra to play with your friends. The problem with consoles going digital is that you are forced to buy the a game from one source. When on pc you can find sales by just going to another storefront who happens to have it on sale. Where I live the same game costs more on PS and xbox than on steam (I'm purposefully leaving out resellers). Sony has stopped supoorting 3rd parzy stores from selling their digital games just to force a monopoly. It is what is. So since all of my friends are playing on pc mostly I'll just join them. Luckily enough my PC won't need an upgrade for the next 5 years or so

Yet they gut their studios and cancel projects left and right. Focusing on AI and gamepass. Yeah good luck with that xbox. You've lost me as a customer. I only come here for reviews (because you guys do great reviews along your sister sites) and news about indies I might have missed. Anything else I'm done with. Same with Sony. I'll stay with my series X and base PS5 and that's it. Dont care anymore about AIHelix or whater they'll call it. Dont care about 1000 bucks ps6 with no disc drive. Nintendo I'll keep an eye on but so far their games have become idk unfinished feeling if that makes sense. I guess I'm now at a point where I've fallen out with a hobby of mine. Good luck with reaching a billion people when the industry is in the state it is in. People cant afford the consoles or pc components tganks to AI. Just think if microsoft struggles as a big firm then what about us normal peeps? So slaughter your workforce and in the same breath state an unrealistic goal..... Icannot with this brand anymore. Im done with the next generation. No helix or ps6 or switch 3 (whatever nintendo is planning.)I'll ride this gen out and focus on pc if the prices allow me (highly doubtful at this point).

I wonder if studio 343 has the talent to make an original Halo game that can come close to the og trilogy. I doubt it. The gaming landscape has changed drastically. Look at halo infinite and its frankly garbage story. Confused storytelling with characters that came out of spin off games. They should've rebooted it or focus on other main characters like odst and reach. Microsoft is throwing everything at the wall hoping something sticks but nothing is sticking.

Oh but perfect dark which is a legacy brand for microsoft and was apparently nearly done gets canceled. I dont believe a word out of Micro$ofts AI infested mouth. Same for $ony. Looks.like they are speedrunning the next game industry crash.

We are losing arkane and many other great smaller studios becuase they had to buy this franchise. Thank you microsoft I really appreciate it.

@xboxisking Parfect Dark and Everwild. Plus I'm still mad at scalebounds cancelation even though that has been a while. Plus now Blade if its true which I was looking forward to. Contraband also sounded interesting but got shafted. We will most likely never get another double fine experience. The john Romero game they pulled away from. Wouldn't suprise me if they cancel state of decay 3 too

Dont worry guys we're just cancelling all the interesting games and shuttering our studios, but dont worry. The next call of duty will be good please buy it. Both $ony and Micro$oft are doing everything in their power to make this hobby as unappealing as possible. Series X and PS5 are my last consoles from them.

From now on I'll treat every xbox game trailer not as a game reveal, but as a buy the studio reveal. Here is what we could work on so please buy us. Atleast buying activision was worth it with the well received black ops game. Microsoft and Sony have both done way too much damage. So many fantastic studios closed. No wonder when games cost 1000 of millions to make. Because every game has to sell like gta.

Whenever I read a microsoft statement about components being too expensive I just imagine the south park BP guy rubbing his nips and going sorry over and over again. I'm getting more and more over gaming in general. Prices are getting insane, AI everywhere and the quakity of the games has been declining to a point where getting a game day one is just a guarantee for a broken experience. Add in ridiculous microtransaction practices, season passes where they dont make sense and a focus on live services. It's exhausting. It's getting really hard to become excited about any gaming news. When some cool projects get canceled anyways and amazing studios get closed. All of this is the reson why I stop commenting most of the time becuase I'm just too jaded and pessimistic about the whole state of affairs. Maybe one day things will get better but I don't see it yet.

The fact that they lock you out of ingame stores ticks me off. The ultimate edition is the standard edition it seems..... screw rockstar for this stupid stupid stupid greedy decision. I'll be getting it on PC on a heavy sale.

@Optimumjay its just stupid. Ridiculous. If sony would make the same demands for their port xbox fans would be outraged. Rightfully so. To demand a subscription for an ONLINE service while the mode is OFFLINE is absolutely brain dead.

@Cooe I think the smaller scale will be better. The fact that cyberpunk needed 3 years to get to the promised point says everything. Smaller and more focused or quality over quantity. Also the story of cyberpunk didn't grab me at all and I found all characters to be either annoying or just unlikable except jsckie who became our friend not through gameplay but a clipshow and then they kill him off early. In my eyes cyberpunk is the weakest CD project offering by a large margin. Though I dont wanna take away from your enjoyment at all. We all have different tastes as it should be.

Please dont be a cyberpunk 2077 type launch. Atm it looks and sounds too good to be true. I reallly hope they can deliver because it truly seems like what cyberpunk 2077 should've been

I have too many subscriptions as is so I've cut down alot of them which included all gaming ones aswell as netflix. It's too much for my finances atm.

I mean this confusion is of Xbox's own making. They've been flip floping on so many topics its kinda sad tbh. So not surprised that people are questioning and second guessing every statement.

Man double fine made and still make such unique games. Not all of them hit for me ofcourse but I hope they find a way. We need devs that make smaller and more experimental games. AAA is barely sustainable with the huge budgets involved.

I played MW 1 campaign and liked it, played 2 and it was ok, heard so much bad stuff about 3 that I skipped it and now, there's so many other games to play that I'm gonna a skip 4 aswell.

Idk but as soon as I read PvPvE, interest drops to zero for me. No matter what genre I never gel with that style of game. It sounds interesting for sure but Idk just yet.

I'm still early on but it's great so far. Just happy that both 007 and Lego Batman delivered in full. 2 amazing games well worth a play through.

Hope they take the extra time they gave themselves to Iron oout kinks that would've passed otherwise. I cant wait for GTA 6 to release. Not because I desperately wanna play it (I'll wait for the PC Version), but because of all the games that got delayed that have my interest.
