'Relooted' Is Available Today With Xbox Game Pass, And Some Early Reviews Are Now Live

Welcome to your latest Xbox Game Pass update! Today, we have brand-new day one title Relooted entering the Game Pass Ultimate library; a heist platformer mashup from developer Nyamakop.

As usual, we're going to summarise this one down below with a trailer and its accompanying description, to give you a better idea of what to expect. However, with some early reviews just starting to come out for Relooted, we're also going to gather some of those underneath as well. It's worth noting that the game's demo has 'Mostly Positive' Steam reviews so far too.

Right, without further ado:

Relooted (Series X|S, PC, Cloud) - PC, Ultimate

"Reclaim real African artifacts from Western museums in this Africanfuturist heist game. Recruit crew members, plan escape routes, acquire the precious cargo, and bounce out of the joint as fast as you can."

Video Chums (8.3/10)

"Relooted's clever blend of gameplay elements as you plan, solve puzzles, and then execute via exciting parkour segments completely blew me away and it certainly stands tall as one of the most unique and rewarding indie games that you'll ever play."

Checkpoint Gaming (7.5/10)

"Relooted turns a fantastic premise into a fun heist game. Putting its weaknesses in writing and plot aside, repatriating African artifacts is fun, swift and captures the emotional spikes and troughs of the heist genre nicely. Relooted also never loses sight of why these artifacts should be repatriated, treating them not as empty collectibles but instead as a way to help players understand their cultural significance and why they should be returned."

Gaming Trend (6/10)

"This 2D side-scrolling puzzle platformer is a dream—an idealized world where African countries own what is theirs and can tell their stories without dilution. But as you may suspect by the title, the dream is fulfilled by stealing the artifacts back. Relooted makes you feel like you're a mastermind, and escaping is thrilling, but there are just enough problems that drag the experience down to the point you can't ignore them."
