Sony lock you into their expensive Digital Store for Everything.

Sony charge you the price of a years subscription just for Cloud Saves.
Cloud Saves are Free on Xbox.

Sony charge you twice for every game if you have more than just their console.
Microsoft give buy one and get the other Free with Play Anywhere.

Microsoft have the best digital return policy of any console by FAR.

Sony andNintendo are fighting it out for whoever offers the Worst Digital returns policy around.

Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy will do for the second half of this month , Dune Awakening next month and Gears the following one, all on Gamepass Day One.
All are Play Anywhere titles.

Shouldn't be long before it's on Ultimate Gamepass.

@Katiecooh2313 This is just 4 of the games listed for September not August, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 has been on Gamepass for ages, the rest you list are just old games. Why are you only now listing what PS Premium is getting? most of the time it's just old games you would of bought long ago if you actually wanted to play them.

I would rather play the brand new Dune Awakening game and the brand new Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy than any of those old titles you listed and I can play them on both Xbox and PC at No extra cost.

You could say the same thing about Sony not offering a game to 30 million plus gamers on Xbox.

Fact is 90 million subscribers means nothing anyway as far as sales go, if its not a big multiformat title then game sales are quiet poor considering there are 90 million plus subscribers.
Third-party estimates indicate Gears of War: Reloaded has sold roughly 680,000 to over 1 million copies on the PlayStation 5 that's out of 90 million plus subscribers!.
Same applies with Halo hardly in the big league of game sales.

In comparison Candy Crush has made Microsoft $1 billion in annual revenue for each of the last 3 years.

Prices for the WD_BLACK C50 1TB Expansion Card on Amazon is £119 including postage, just as cheap as Sony's options now and it's plug and play.

Other subscriptions only give old games, any of those you really wanted to play you would of bought long ago.

Its Play Anywhere, such a good deal you buy one and get one Free, especially if you have an Xbox and a PC Handheld, anywhere else you would have to buy the game twice to do this.

@ZeD Microsoft refunds are not far off steam refund, you can download a game claim a refund within 14 days of purchase and have less than two hours of playtime across all accounts
Sonys refund policy is terrible, you can't even downland and try a game.

The alternative would be something like PS Premium!! No Thank You it's just not worth the money, they give mostly just old tired games you would have bought long ago if you thought they were worth playing and nothing else worth talking about, to top it off if you stop subscribing it's goodbye cloud saves as well!! They charge for Cloud saves!!!.

The Free stuff you get on PC is better than Sony's subscriptions, if it ever ended up in a situation like that I would go completely over to PC.

The vast majority will play Gears on the multi player, not just for a month or two but for months and years, they have also expanded on the multiplayer.

Xbox recently revealed that some departments required work to pass through up to 14 or 15 layers of management!

Clearly a lot of them will be gone, I think she said they are taking it down to 5 and some cases 3.

@Ninerguy1608 Sony have only been releasing One AAA PS5 First Party exclusive game a year for years now, this year finally has two, so I'm not sure where your huge games list is going to come from.
They have lost years in studio development time because of Concord and all the other cancelled games that were in development.

Intresting, so with Sony only realising one AAA First Party current gen exclusive a year for years now (though they are managing 2 this year) , I think it's safe to also say With PS Premium PlayStation has already moved most users away from physical games.

It's clearly one or the other, either it's subscriptions that have moved people away from both consoles or the younger generation just don't care about boxed games in the digital age.

@Lightbubulz Sony won't do that, they put their backwards compatibility in their top tier subscription, they also prefer you to buy their updated version of a game/remaster etc than to play all those old games you bought years ago for free.

But don't cancel that PS subscription or Sony will lock you out of your cloud saves.

Just get the Halo Master Chief Collection, it's under £10 from key stores and it has online multiplayer.
Includes, Halo: Combat Evolved (Anniversary), Halo 2 (Anniversary), Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo: Reach, and Halo 4.
Only ODST dosen't have multiplayer it never did.
