That same list has now grown to 2,350 titles at the time of writing, suggesting that well over 1,000 additions have been made over the past year and a half. We don't know about you, but we reckon that's a fantastic effort from Team Xbox!
The official list from Microsoft even suggests that over 2,500 games are now supported.
In recent weeks alone, we've seen some major titles being added to the Xbox Play Anywhere program such as 007 First Light, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales, and there are tons more already scheduled for 2026 and 2027 including Control Resonant, Stranger Than Heaven and Onimusha: Way of the Sword.
Who knows whether the program will slow down as part of Asha Sharma's reign — it's yet to be determined how crucial she believes it is to the future of Xbox — but it's certainly been an incredible addition for those of us who play on PC as well as Xbox consoles.
In fact, we polled the Pure Xbox community on this last year, and you told us how important it's been to you. If you never had a chance to vote at the time, we've reopened the two polls down below:
