EA's Fight Night series has long been a favourite of the original Xbox and Xbox 360 era, and 15 years since the latest entry, it's just been announced that it's finally making a comeback!

The news was revealed a couple of hours ago via a new account on social media, and even in that short space of time, it already has over 60,000 likes and 2 million views.

Here's the announcement:

As you can see, there are no concrete details on what to expect from the new Fight Night game as things stand, but rumours have suggested for a couple of years now that EA has been interested in reviving the series, with one particular report in 2024 mentioning how the company had been intrigued by the success of boxing game Undisputed.

We haven't seen a Fight Night game since Fight Night Champion in 2011, and that game remains surprisingly popular on modern consoles to this day thanks to Xbox backwards compatibility. If EA gets the right development team on this new version, it should end up being a massive hit whenever it releases in the future.
