ROG Xbox Ally X20 Pre-Orders Go Live Today, Release Date Set For October 2026

Pre-orders will begin imminently on the ASUS website and at Best Buy in the US.

Original Story: If you've been interested in picking up the ROG Xbox Ally X20, today's the day for pre-orders! ASUS has announced that the system will become available to purchase "later today" ahead of its official release date of October 15th, 2026.

As previously confirmed, you'll be able to buy the ROG Xbox Ally X20 either standalone or as part of an "Ultimate Bundle" that includes ROG XREAL R1 Edition 20 Gaming AR Glasses along with a dbrand Killswitch and custom Pelican Case.

We still don't have prices at the time of writing, but they'll be revealed when pre-orders go live.

As we've mentioned before, the ROG Xbox Ally X20 features a few improvements compared to the existing ROG Xbox Ally X, including a bigger display with an OLED screen, TMR joysticks, a new d-pad and redesigned face buttons.

It's not actually more powerful than the Ally X that's on the market right now, but these quality-of-life improvements should make a relatively big difference, especially in terms of the OLED display.
