Re: Poll: Would You Rather Have EA Play Or Ubisoft Plus Included With Xbox Game Pass?

Pusher2021

EA+ for the F1, FIFA, etc.

-Stopped buying F1games for years but then I bought back some F1 games, like the 2019 & 2020 special edition, they were right up my alley. I did buy Fallen Order (because no MTX in the game was an incentive to buy it) but it came also to service EA+ IIRC. Got a few Mass Effect & Dead Space games, The Saboteur (only published by EA IIRC). Bought every Grid game but that's mostly because of Codemasters.

-And trying out some NHL games, Stopped buying Fifa games,

Long time ago I really liked Ubisoft, as dev & publisher:

-AC1, AC2, AC3 SE, every Splinter Cell, every Prince of Persia, a couple of Call of Juarez games, Most of the Trial games, most Driver games, some Rayman games, Good & Evil, all Brothers in Arms but Ubisoft only published them IIRC and owned by Gearbox, Some Rainbow Six games, several Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon games, 2 Watch Dogs games, first 3 Far Cry games, Immortal Fenyx, The 2 MP attempts ... etc.

-So I mostly owned their games and didn't need that PLUS before. And IMO they became mediocre, like more of the same & most the games are too slow (progress) for me I guess. And the fact that I became more picky about buying games now.
Ubisoft mean Quantity over Quality imo. Tbh, on GP I didn't finish 1 Ubisoft game.

-But I like the F1 games via GPU, the new EA WRC looks interesting and even The Crew 3 from Ubisoft looks interesting but I need a lot more information before I buy one of these ...

-But what could happen in the future for example is that MS Xbox or Sony PS co-finance some exclusive games for their platform!

Re: Another Eight Games Will Leave Xbox Game Pass Soon (April 2023)

Pusher2021

@Tsushima I’m not worried about QB either, have it physical too but haven’t completed it yet.

Now that you mention it, MP 1&2 Remake is another one I’m looking forward to. Release is probably far away. Warranted remake imo. Remedy has a huge workload with maybe 5 or 6 games in development but currently I’m only interested in their SP stuff.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (April 1-2)

Pusher2021

  • RE4 Remake (PS5)
  • Metroid Remastered (NS)

Still impressed by both of these!

  • Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure (XSX)

Good DLC but I do miss some new rally cars in the likes of the CMR rally car. In the Open Racing (played a few hours) there are no real rally cars leading the races. I understand it's arcady but It's a bit weird that Ferrari & Mercedes, ... sports cars are in front of the pack. There's even more chaos in those races than before. I really do miss Lancia cars in this DLC

Re: PSA: Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure Is Part Of Multiple Xbox Sales This Week

Pusher2021

I also loved the Rallisport Challenge series on the OG Xbox. I must say, been playing this new expansion for a few hours & I really like this DLC, maybe the best FH DLC so far for me personally. A lot more fun than the HW DLC, that's for sure. The new update is also one of the best since a long time. I was a bit worried after the (free) Donut Media content.

Re: Forza Motorsport Developer Update Hints At Post-Launch DLC Plans

Pusher2021

@Blofse Feel the same way. It’s okay to earn the cars but not in a grindy way. Same for NFS Unbound. Some people like the slow progress and think about which bumper/wheels/etc. to buy before spending their low amount of money. But maybe I’m the minority in this. In the old days I didn’t mind playing mostly GT but nowadays too many other games I like to play/complete.

Re: Soapbox: I Hope Forza Horizon 6 Goes In A Different Direction For The Series

Pusher2021

I love the fact they give you a lot of cars from the get go. FH5 is my most played FH because I love the, go in and out, for a few hours, and drive different vehicles. Play another game and jump right into where I left of. Licenses are a big deal but my personal take would be, make the car culture as big as you can. It’s already big but put in some Dakar, Hill Climbs and Rallycross for instance. If possible give players a big space where they can walk around their collection (showroom, parking lot, …) Make every car discipline the HW/Rally type progression (Crosscountry, Street race, Rally, …). They probably already made some basics for FH6 and PG is know to do their own thing. I wouldn’t mind traveling to different countries as locations but that would be very expensive to make. Japan/Tokyo, best Scandinavian road-trips, or, the best car roads in the world? I checked and I got 128 days in the game.

Re: Talking Point: Are You Happy With The Forza Horizon 5 Expansion 2 Setting?

Pusher2021

It’s growing on me. At first glance it felt similar (who needs more sand in Mexico 😛), even half of the “new” cars, but, it’s made quite deep after watching everything again. I wish they put in some Dakar and Pikes Peak Hill Climb events and cars related to those but it’s impossible to do good by everyone. Most importantly, the gameplay will be fun, I’m sure.

Re: Pick One: Which Of These Xbox Classics Would You Remaster?

Pusher2021

Def PGR series, had some awesome tracks in combo with stellar gameplay imo but with FM coming ... but I wish I could play them on my XSX! (never missed one)
The Simpson H&R was surprisingly fun I remember so a collection would be nice indeed.

Lol, Midtown Madness, the OG Xbox Live days, such good memories. On that note, I want a new Top Spin title too.

Re: Talking Point: What Would You Like To See From Xbox's 'Developer_Direct' Livestream?

Pusher2021

  • Roadmap for Xbox 2023 + roadmap for Game Pass 2023
  • Also projects we can expect within 6-18 months (released) + confirmation of titles that are too far away to talk about (again = so we can lower expectations = +18 months away)
  • Def more about features we can expect in FM8 + premium DLC plans (my most anticipated game on Xbox)
  • DLC 2 FH5
  • Some release dates (def expecting one for HellBlade 2)

Re: Soapbox: Forza Horizon 5 Expansion 2 Should Take Notes From 'Fortune Island'

Pusher2021

In Mexico there is not much snow but friends tend to skip winter in FH4 over time so I don't know if people really want something like that. For me FH5 is far better than FH4 in terms of gameplay. Always get frustrated when returning to FH4 for some drifting and it's not registering my run because it can"t follow two zones in a row (same with speed zones + other stuff they didn't fix overall). Love both settings but variety in Mexico is better even if it feels more gamified though. Got + 900 hours in FH5 to my surprise but haven't missed a season yet. Spend more time in FH3 HW than in FH5 so I hope we will get something really thrilling as the next DLC! (no Lego please) I wish FH had a bigger soundtrack too.

  • I wonder if they listened to feedback concerning the next DLC and/or there will be some new type of cars?

Re: Happy New Year!

Pusher2021

Happy new year to all gamers. I have a feeling 2023 will be a better Xbox year but it will be happening after the first half. I hope the GP titles before that will have good gameplay = Atomic Hearts (FEB) & Wo Long Fallen Dynasty (MARCH).
A lot of players will enjoy more Persona & Monster Hunter (not for me though). And what the GP surprises will be ...

Personally I'm waiting for FM8 so I hope no delays unless it's for the good of the game. At least we will hear & get more info about MS games scheduled for 2024

Very excited what every platform has to show for 2023!

Re: Xbox Fans Want To Know What's Going On With Square Enix In 2023

Pusher2021

70B is no pocket change but PS only fans are downplaying Sony's dealings with 3rd party exclusives too much. I think they pushed MS in purchasing publishers. Before Zenimax happened we know Sony was already scooping up 3 Bethesda titles.
Nintendo & Sony are here to stay and MS is trying to get closer since they said they were all in. They already invested big but they are still not close to Sony/Nintendo overall. MS probably believes in those investements but at the end "that plan" can fail, still. + They all invest in making TV shows & Movies (related to games)
You can purchase a big publisher but to make it work in making new or existing IP's is still going to be a challenge (and long term) + future wise, the mobile division from ABK is the biggest asset for MS, I think.
Let's not forget, there's also the likes of (big tech = only getting bigger) Tencent, Embracer Group, Amazon, Meta (VR space), ... + even Apple (estimated App revenue from gaming in 2020 was $13.5B) & Netflix are investing in games!
A lot of gamers benefit of GP, not having the budget for buying heaps of games.

  • maybe SE needs Sony too much too since they had some failed releases (Avengers, Balan Wonderworld, Babylon's Fall, NFT business, ...)

Re: Two Games Are Available Today With Xbox Game Pass (December 13)

Pusher2021

Really liking HOL too. It does something interesting/different so trying to go in as open minded as possible (fan of R&M maybe helps).
I liked the crazyness in Saints Row too but after a few sequels I had enough. So fully understand if people don't like it. I will take it in several gaming sessions though.
