For me, the dashboard could do a refresh, but I wouldn't want to see the actual settings app and guide totally changed or replaced.

I have a newer 4k TV so its apps work pretty well, some even better than the ones on XSX. But my younger brother plays on an older TV, it still looks pretty good for 1080p gaming on a XSS, but the software is outdated af so he uses it all the time as a streaming machine, I even got a media remote for him.

Ohh man, I almost never try these free trials because my backlog is big enough already, but this time I would have loved to play Hell Let Loose, sadly I'm not at my home this week so there it goes my chance.

Man, this just put a total stop to my hype train.

Man, I just want a rerelease of MGS4, I'm this close to just buy another PS3 for just this game.

Ohh man, I would love to try this, but my kinect 2.0 died ages ago. What's funny, is that my launch xbox 360 kinect still works pretty well.

I think it broke because at the time I was still living with my parents and my mom is a neat freak, so she used to clean everything and probably passed a damp cleaning cloth over it. Didn't noticed it until I wanted to use it for Just Dance a few years later and the thing didn't work. By that time they were almost impossible to find anymore, and honestly wasn't really worth it considering that I don't play Just Dance that much and it's the only game that uses it nowadays. Hell, it isn't even compatible with Series consoles.

Edit: By the way, I've been using joy-cons to play Just Dance on Series X thanks to a tool released some months ago and it's pretty cool

Considering the price of the 1.0 version, I don't think we'll be getting it for free like the PC owners did.

And I find it curious that there isn't a last gen release when they are doing one for the switch lol.

@Xeno_Aura yeah, now that you mention it, I have never seen it go on a deep discount.

Damn, that's a little bit pricer than I was expecting, I'm definitely waiting to get it on sale.

I love the game, but I already have it on steam. I remember that the first time I tried it it was around 9 pm and didn't stop playing it until 4 am, it's THAT kind of game.

I would love to play this on xbox with better resolution and performance, but part of the charm of those games are the motion controls. So I'll keep playing them on Switch, I'm just beginning the second.

@BearFut_1800 it targets 60fps with and without ray tracing, but when it is enabled the framerate dips depending of the location.

I have only tried RE2, don't know how the other two hold up.

@AtlanteanMan your friends can sign in as guests from your main account, no need to create new accounts, they'll appear as your gamer tag plus a number to differentiate therm, it has been this way since the launch of the Xbox One. Heck, even the 360 had the same option.

I'm a big fan of Supermassive's games, Until Dawn was the game that made me buy a PS4. But damn, $70 for the next-gen version is a no from me, such a shame they partnered with 2K.

And the game isn't even coming out with online multiplayer enabled, I play these games with my brother and I moved out to another city, so I'll be waiting for a sale. Still pretty excited for the last Dark Pictures Anthology.

I would have love to get the original NG2 again on game pass. I already have it on disc but it's stashed in my parents house. I would get it digital but it's expensive in my country and I always end up getting something newer every time I buy games.

@RedSabat the mixed reviews of the remaster were because it didn't change almost anything, just graphical things, so if you liked the game it was a plus but it really wasn't for everyone. The backcompat version doesn't look too good on a 4K TV if you are playing in one but it's the same game.

If you have a somewhat modern PC check if you already have it on steam or epic games, they have gifted it a few times. If not, I would suggest getting the remaster when it's on sale, it's the best version and has the two DLC episodes which are kinda must plays for the story.

Bought tons of Bethesda games and DLC in a publisher sale they had. A few weeks later Microsoft announced his plans to acquire Bethesda.

I don't play them that often, but I do buy a lot of them. Last ones were the FFXIII trilogy, even though they are on game pass I wanted to own them and play them at my own pace.

@Bobobiwan I think you're able to, just navigate to the in game store and you can download these updates for offline use, at least that's what I think they are for.

The Xbox One titles are decent enough and wouldn't have even know of them if it weren't for being on GWG. So I'm fine with these additions.

The backwards compatible games not so much.

@LtSarge Yeah, I waited literal years for the next episodes. The game was rough but interesting. I totally forgot about it after some time, and got sad about it not being finished when I saw it being added to backwards compatibility.

@LtSarge I may not remember correctly since it has been a while. But I was on the understanding that the game was expected to be episodic, that's why the story felt incomplete, but they never made the follow ups.

@themightyant Oh yeah I agree too, that CAN get confusing, but at least the products are different enough to see what are you getting, cans vs earpods. But hey, at least is not as worse as Wii U lol, I wonder if Nintendo is going to capitalize on the Switch's success and make a successor to it with a clearer name.

@themightyant come on, it's not as bad as Microsoft's names. XM4 is arguably better than XM3 (I'm still salty about the loss of aptX) because it's a higher number. People just call the Sony's XM most of the time. I don't know about the VR headsets, but obviously PSVR2 > PSVR.

I'm entering my 30s so my parents friends are even older, this holidays I've been asked around a dozen times, what are the differences between Xbox One S, One X, Series S, and Series X.

I own almost all Ubisoft's games, and still I wouldn't pay for this. They get on sale so frequent and at low prices that I don't see why would I subscribe.

Maybe people that haven't been hoarding games for long could get use of this.

Yesterday I saw a couple of deals that ended on two days, when I find weird deals like that it's because they are going to do a late week sale.

@K1LLEGAL Me too! I was playing it but wasn't enjoying it due to the repetitiveness, but I really liked the concept. I have it on my wishlist to finish it when it drops its price.

I preordered this and refunded it when I saw how disappointing it was. See ya when it hits game pass.

I would love for it to have rudder pedals instead of the integrated ones.

@Dad Resident Evil 2 it's beyond fantastic. The first one is pretty good too, but the classic camera turns off some people, check some videos to see if you aren't bothered by it, the game it's an amazing experience.

RE7 is another excellent entry point, the gameplay differs somewhat by translating all the classic RE stuff to first person, but it works wonders. And the story is pretty self contained, so no need to know who is who.

@Xenomorph_79 maybe because EA isn't the publisher this time around. EA Play on PC has lots of non EA games playable with game pass that aren't on console.

I already have this one, but if it ends up in game pass for console I definitely would hold back in buying the remastered trilogy.

@Wyatt006 I agree it looks cool, but for me it's a pain to use it. I always end up with a little pain in my hands, not even working all day in the computer makes my hands ache like the pro controller.

@Blessed_Koz I got my PS3 stolen some time ago, and the only game for which I would buy one again it's MGS4, just to have the complete collection again.

I would prefer it to be MGS4, it needs to get out of the PS3.

I tried some games yesterday and they looked fantastic, sadly my tv is an older model and it introduced some input lag, I didn't find any setting for DV for gaming on my set so I ended up deactivating it.

@Krysus I don't think that's going to happen, my laptop struggles with the majority of the settings on mid at 900p and its more powerful than an standard XBO.
Maybe they could get it running it on low settings and at a low res, but that's no way of selling one of Microsoft's AAA games of this year.

@Magabro Yeah I thought exactly the same, all that talk of wanting to launch something big on game pass every month gave it away.

@The_New_Butler same, I used to enroll one of my consoles in the program, but after some hitches with games and the UI, I decided it wasn't worth it for me. I prefer to wait now.

I'm just waiting for it to hit game pass, I'm not buying this game after the Spider-Man fiasco.

@Nerdfather1 Last time I played they had ironed out some of the bugs, I played it almost to 100% and never had any issues. Besides, you can get Far Cry 5 Gold Edition for 8 dollars more and it includes FC3, pretty good deal.
