Turtle Beach's VelocityOne Xbox Flight Controller Goes On Sale This Wednesday

You might remember that Turtle Beach announced a new flight control system for Xbox and PC earlier this year called the VelocityOne, and the device is officially being made available for pre-order via Turtle Beach from this Wednesday.

As detailed by the Xbox team back in July, here's what you can expect from it:

"A true-to-life 180-degree yoke handle with built-in rudder controls at your fingertips provides precise, long-lasting control of any aircraft. The included modular throttle quadrant, with integrated trim wheel and custom lever, enables players to customize at-home aviators for an enhanced, realistic flight experience for both light and heavy aircrafts.

The VelocityOne Flight management display, and an authentic status indicator panel, offers real-time alerts and critical flight details so you can fly the skies with confidence. When you connect via a USB connection, the setup process is quick and easy across all compatible devices."

Pre-orders for the VelocityOne look set to unlock at 11am EDT / 4pm BST this Wednesday, November 3rd, with a fairly eye-watering price tag of £349.99 / $379.95. Limited quantities are available, with a max of two per-customer.

It seems the controller will be available at other retailers as well, but full details have yet to be revealed.
