Re: Xbox Has Started Giving Out Free Gears Of War: Reloaded Codes To 'Ultimate Edition' Owners

@Elbow yeah man, this really saved my day. I didn't believe they really would honor disc users this way. And looking at Series X the last 2 years, it seems my beloved disc games are getting fewer and fewer. I had to buy Ninja Gaiden 2 Black Digital and same will I do with South of Mind.
I really hope, that Microsoft gives players at least the option on next gen, using disc further on.

Re: Poll: What Were Your Top 5 Reveals At The Xbox Games Showcase 2025?

Keeper is my no.1. It looks so beautiful and promising.
No. 2 is Resonance: A Plague Tale, it looks great and I'm really looking forward how this entry will be.
No. 3 is Mudang, this looks fresh and new.
No. 4 is Cronos, I think Bloober will get the job done.
And my 5 is Ninja Gaiden 4, but I'm not convinced yet that it will reach Gaiden 1 and 2.

Re: Talking Point: Switch 2 Owners, Should Xbox Embrace Nintendo's New System?

Nintendo4Sonic

I think Microsoft should stay with their systems.
After what I saw and heard so far, the Switch 2 doesn't seem to be worth it at this point.
It's just a machine for Mario Kart World and some sharper Switch 1 games.
Almost every game from the Summer Game Show is not coming to Switch 2. And I'm not interested in 3rd party games on Switch 2 if I have a Series X at home.

Re: Xbox Quietly Releases New 4TB Expansion Card For Series X|S

@Kaloudz as far as I know. The Series X uses a perfect emulation for OG Xbox, 360 and One games. For all of these games, HDD is alright to play them. The modern X/S games need the SSD technic, because it's not possible to load these big datas with older hardware.
I think the next XBox, however the name might be in the end, will go on with the same procedure. We'll see, maybe they even use the same SSD generation like the modern one. It's a bit slower than PS5 SSDs, but it's still very fast.

Re: Xbox Quietly Releases New 4TB Expansion Card For Series X|S

@Kaloudz well that's better than nothing, especially for older games. If they are still available digitally.
But no, the prices won't get much better. The M2 SSDs which are used on PS5 didn't get really cheaper over the last years.
And from now on, I wouldn't spend that much into this generation anymore.
Who knows if Microsoft uses the same expansion cards on their next Xbox.

Crazy. This reminds over here in Germany, there were 2 sale discounts with a Series X console bundled with Diablo 4 for 399€. A friend started with the Series X there.
Of course this was before Microsoft were deciding: "hey let's make our consoles more expensive again and again."

It's nice that there's a 4TB option, but I wouldn't pay that money. That's way over the fence for me. I have the 1TB model and an external HDD with 2TB. I can deal with this.
