An absolute highlight of 2023's spooky season, Alan Wake 2 is simply a must-play Xbox title. Oozing charm, atmosphere and some incredibly slick visuals, Remedy's latest blockbuster blew us away a few years back - and it would do all over again here in 2025! This one is dropping in terms of its discount these days, and we can't recommend it enough at its current price on Xbox.

Death Stranding Director's Cut (Xbox Series X|S)

We were made to wait too damn long for Death Stranding to come to Xbox, but boy-oh-boy was it worth the wait in the end. Kojima's once-PS4 exclusive is a weird and trippy adventure across a broken United States, and it's also quite a thought provoking trip for those who are willing to see it through. Another one that really shows the power of Xbox Series X|S, Death Stranding Director's Cut is well worth your time and money at this price.

Dragon's Dogma 2 (Xbox Series X|S)

So far there's a recurring theme to this list, and that theme is waiting bloody ages for amazing things! Let's add to that list then - after waiting more than a decade for the follow-up to Dragon's Dogma, Capcom delivered with the incredible Dragon's Dogma 2 last year. Despite some performance issues on pretty much every platform it launched on, DD2 is an action-RPG not-to-be-missed, and this also happens to be its steepest discount on Xbox so far.

Gotham Knights (Xbox Series X|S)

Gotham Knights may be a somewhat controversial entry on this list, but we thoroughly enjoyed our time with WB Montreal's DC-themed open-world back in late 2022 - and with this much off the asking price it really is worth a go! GK might not match up to the lofty heights of Rocksteady's Batman Arkham games, but that doesn't mean that it's not an adventure worth heading out on - especially at this low, low price in the Xbox Deals Unlocked sale.

Hogwarts Legacy (Xbox Series X|S)

What can we say that hasn't already been said about Hogwarts Legacy? We called it a "Harry Potter fan's dream" when we reviewed the title here at Pure Xbox and we still wholeheartedly stand behind that call. A gorgeous open world to get lost in, some fantastic franchise-fitting characters to interact with and an engaging campaign that'll eat away at your time, Hogwarts Legacy is one of the standout experiences of the generation so far. It's also becoming much more affordable these days, which is a bonus for anyone who's still on the fence!
